In my opinion, it is better to trade and not just hold, because in a bull run, if you are able to trade your assets and are able to analyze technically,
that is obviously a very good thing, if you are able to do that, you will get a lot of profit from just holding.
in bullrun of course the altcoins will go up x2 even x100 so in bearish this time is the right time to buy and accumulate,
remember!, never sell altcoins that you hold before the bullrun arrives, because you will surely regret it.

well consdiering the fact that the question would be whether someone would hold their coin or just outright sell it during bullrun, I think if the coin that you're holding are generally good you will see it massively increasing in terms of value.
holding it will be massive waste since you could always re entry in the future when the value has been collected but sometimes I do agree though that there are some coin out there
that are having really big potential that it will always rise in every bullrun cycle, still selling when it hits all time high and bagging when it hits all time low is still wisest decision ever.

it's true, holding on is not something that is wise when viewed from our wanting to get bigger profits. selling it at the highest point is a good choice, so that after the price is saturated we can buy it back at the lowest point. to get these prices is indeed with each analysis and of course we will make purchases in stages, because we realize that there are no accurate predictions up to 100%. in that way we can maximize profits while in the world of cryptocurrency

Have you been in a situation during bull you sell off a coin you are hodl and suddenly the coin start pumping and pumping? and you can't just re-enter because it is fast going up? remember during bull majority of the coins seems a good coin and will likely pump, So for me it depends on the direction of the market and the weight of the run, overly i have learnt during bull, I hodl some and trade some, just incase of sudden pump

Risk is to high especially with those altcoins which reputation is questionable since they might be the one might be the first to became a scam if they dump because they already reached their target threshold. So we better be more careful with this schemes and only trust the reputable coins since they are the tested on bull run events also for more years it exist on the market.

It is very difficult to know the length at which a coins can pump to during the bull market, I will rather sell at the price am happy with and exit the market. I can not risk to buy and sell during Bull run because the market can stop being bullish after I have buy in the high spike.

In my opinion, you should sell whatever you have at the next bull run. And wait for the market correction to buy back the coins you had. But make sure you only invest in altcoins for a short-term profit, once you get your chunk of profit forget the altcoins you invested in, of course, with some exceptions (ETH, LTC, DOGE, XRP etc.). Trading in a bull run is somewhat risky, as you exactly don't know the new ATH for a particular coin. Go for emptying your bucket at the next bull run.

If you don't want to be preoccupied from constant trading then set a comfortable price target for you to sell and then leave for a while. Go and take a vacation somewhere else using those profits. You can comeback when the market becomes bearish then slowly start accumulating again. That's what big bag holders usually do from what I know so you may as well follow their lead.

The problem here is that most of these altcoins will drop dead just after the bull run so if you're holding an altcoin and you're in profit then that's all you need to do, take your profit and wait until for some opportunities that could be visible to you. Since the cryptocurrency market is highly unpredictable, you can't tell if next year will be your first bull experience because no one knows what is going to happen in the market by next year, there is no doubt that the bitcoin halving will happen somewhere around March next year, but more also we can't tell if the bull run is going to happen in that same year as it has always done in few occasions.

So all that we need to do is to wait and anticipate for the bull market to happen when we have a reduction in the supplies of Bitcoin and possibly push the value up that will trigger the bull market and that will also reflect on the altcoin market since Bitcoin is its major market trigger force.
