Do you trade altcoins during the bull run or just hodl?

If you are hyper on trading and you insist, the chance of you likely getting effed up is very high. Just hold and be consistent and doing that, it's a proven method that no one will argue about its authenticity of how profitable it is.

I like to accumulate altcoins and hold them for some time. Here I take meme coins off my list. Altcoins will usually rise as the price of Bitcoin rises. But the problem is that altcoins are not a good option for the long term. I usually buy altcoins in the past two months and I will hold them until next year because I believe the BTC halving will affect the increase in altcoin prices too.

There are still altcoins that are good for the long term but you will need to choose the good ones based on the market's reaction and not yours. You can analyze them as much as you can but sometimes, or let's say at most times we're choosing the wrong ones. So, just learn from it and choose the better ones and go long.

Given these facts, I can say that many altcoins now available on the market have the ability to follow Bitcoin's upward price trend when the bull run begins next year. BnB, Ada, Vela, Matic, Arb, Bonk, Shib, Pepe, Aidoge, Doecoin, and others are a few that I can say are fine for me.

If I just had a lot of money, I would buy a lot and hold it until the bull run because, to be completely honest, I am confident that it will also support my observation and opinion.

i never buy meme coins to hold it until bull run, but meme coins also good performance in price, but i am buying top reliable coins, those are following bitcoin price.

I do both during the bull market ,normally buy some altcoins and hold till i make profits before selling them out .Also took part in leverage trading cause normally it is easy to long crypto pairs during the bull run and make some money than to short them .Bullmarket is usually a good time to make lots of profits in crypto.

maybe if you have prepared your altcoin from the start you have to hold on until the time, but if you don't have any altcoin at all you have to pay it in installments from now on, don't panic when the market goes up, panic when the market is below because it could be said to be a very big discount, hopefully it will be Next bullrun we will make all the profits

Panic in terms of collecting more coins when the market slide down, just make sure to do your DYOR it will save you a lot before deciding if what coins to invest your money,  bull season is expected to bring decent amount of profits as you have that time to see how the market will pump, the more you understand the better opportunities that you can gain, as you can do your trade or you can just hold and wait for the target value that you intend to sell all your assets.

One needs to be careful with altcoin. This also depends on the altcoin been involved here. For me, I believe it is best to sell out most altcoin gradually doing bull run. especially at a point when good profit has been made because holding altcoin to the end of the bull run may be dangerous as they may drop drastically below ones expectation.

Op do you really understand this market analysis? Okay look at the time you join the forum "Date Registered:   June 22, 2022, 02:14:54 PM" and from the time your registration in the forum Bitcoin was on the bear market and very Lowe in that matter. And if you compare that to this present market price, and you invested at that time then you are in the bull market right now because at that time Bitcoin was about $19k or $20k and now Bitcoin is $43k and you are saying the next bull market will be your first bull. That is ridiculous.

We have plans and ideas that differs from others, I can win today and lose tomorrow, you can lose today and win tomorrow, that's how the market operates. I've learnt to adapt to the strategy that works for me and not joining the trends with other traders. Don't lay all your eggs in one basket, there are different sectors to examine in the space, we just have to exercise patience and learn thoroughly how the space operates. I actually understand your points, both it can be choking for those that do not have the balance capital to spare for both trading and holding of crypto tokens.

This may work for very few coins but not for all as it's very risky because not only you but most of the users thinks that if they hodl low cap coins they have greater chances of getting crazy profits during bull run but it's a myth. What you have mentioned on the lines of selling the coins when it gives you profit and buying it again when price drops that's a trap and I am 100% sure you have not done that because once price drops for these low cap coins it never crosses previous ATH and only one out of blue moon it happens for a very brief period of time.

It's also a good idea but I'm not a fan of meme coins I hold only few coins which I buy during the dips when price is very low and sell during bull run but some coins a still worthless in my wallet till now after buying them they called to raise again.
Thou I have taking profit from most of the coins.

  If you buy coins during the bull run don't they have a high price during the bullish market? Well I don't buy during price increase seasons I just buy when price is relatively low and sell high to hit my profit. Sometimes I loss because some the coins that I bought where scam coins that the owners took the money away and left the project.
I will advise you to always buy coins that have perform well before hand in other to be in the saver side.

There are altcoins that I consider to be pump and dump that is in my folio so meaning whenever the price gets at least double even without
Halving and Bull market? I will consider selling to purchase other altcoins again.


But if you are talking about Ethereum or Binance or at least Ripple? nope I will never sell unless the Altcoin bull comes like what we
had in 2018 this seems to be ATH for al my coins then.

Better to trade with good altcoins during bull run. In my experience I started trading with good altcoins during the current bull season. Maximum profit can be achieved by trading during bull season. Being on hold I never think altcoins is profitable. Except for some altcoins, most altcoins are not worth investing in for long periods of time.

If you will be able to invest in a potential altcoins when their price is very low in the market, and hold for the price of those particular altcoins to increase higher in a way if you sell at that moment you will not miss your opportunity in the market. If truly you purchased Dogecoin and shitcoins in the bearish season,  I must confess to you that you will achieve a good profits from your holding when the price hit higher next year, because the green light is still on to lead the price to a higher level that will make holders to begin to release their coins. That is a good idea that will keep you winning from the market when you buy and sell when the price is high in the market to make profits that will allow you to buy again when bearish season appear.

Better to trade with good altcoins during bull run. In my experience I started trading with good altcoins during the current bull season. Maximum profit can be achieved by trading during bull season. If you have the knowledge and you know how to play with your emotion, trading during bull season can give you decent profits, more on how you set your position and how you anticipate the market run, same with what you said you can maximize your profits if you understand how the coin will behave, it is important to manage your position.

Both your profits and possible losses should be taken into the account when positioning your trade. Most of the time, trader who got greedy instead of making money, they failed to take the profits and the opportunity got passed on them since they are waiting for too much high but the market only offer decent and if you got stuck expect to lose.

This is what I am doing too because it has more chance of getting a high amount of income but only risking a little amount of money but this is not possible without any knowledge because the list is overwhelming and we cannot make it just easy to choose every time we want to invest of those coins. I recommend others not to blindly follow others when it comes to investment but instead choose to make their investment unique and have some guts and courage to wait for it until it succeeds. As long as it has some honest developers and they have a plan to further update their platforms, they could easily increase their market.

  As long as you know something about trading, I don't see anything that makes you trade regardless of the state of the market, whether it's a bull run or a bear season. That's fine if you trade, as long as the important thing is that you get a profit.

  But if you know for yourself that you lack trading knowledge, don't do it because the crypto assets you trade may end up in losses. That is the risk in trading when there is not enough idea or knowledge of crypto trading. Always remember to do your own research first.

I consider myself as an investor so I don't trade on bull but that doesn't mean that I wont be selling before a x point.
I have a number of exit points for my invested coins and I focus on getting a profit on every 20% increase in sell.
What I don't do is buying. I did that mistake in the past and won't be repeating it.

Trading requires skill trading is easy if you have good experience. A bull run would be good to both trade and hold if the altcoin market is in a good position. Before trading one must acquire adequate understanding of trading strategy and proper risk management. Even if you are not good at trading there is no problem. You can buy and hold any cryptocurrency of your choice like bitcoin ethereum etc. This is the advantage of holding which you can easily profit by selling again when the price rises.
