8 websites to check bitcoin address and transaction statuses

I am fast learning everything I can about bitcoin, I will continue to do so. I have separated the learning in weeks depending on how free I am. The last I learnt in my last week online surfing was how to check the bitcoin address status and know my transaction progress.

These are the website I filtered them to from more list. I thought I should let the newbies like me know about it. Any of the websites are good for this purpose but 1-5 are most popular.

Op you would have dropped this thread in your local board because they would understand you better than the public. I can't comprehend your content. Though what you are trying to say is a good thing but for people to understand your syntax is the main issue here.

It's a very low-effort post however I made a similar mistake in my early days on this forum to earn some merit. Try to provide something that requires some extra brain cells and not something which anyone can find on a google search. I appreciate your efforts though. I don't actually see any utility of this post at all, maybe you decided to make it to help literal beginners however they aren't part of this forum.

Op since you are young here in the forum all I can say is that you are working great which is from April 14, 2023 until now you are in the process of learning but you've learned a lot.  And about your shared knowledge above then it's highly appreciated and for sure those lateral newbies can learn how to track the transaction using the links you provided. But what other said above Op this is an easy and searchable in google so by the next time you crested a post its better to have a good topics inside that have a wide  information.

As far as bitcoin's blockchain though, here is a good list by @1miau List of useful Bitcoin block explorers.

One of the most comprehensive list, although it might be outdated as it was written years ago, but for starters like the OP, he can start from it and maybe build his own list.

Maybe you know how to search for something on Google but some people may don't know how to search a simple keyword like this. OP did great by sharing the sites where people can check bitcoin transaction status and information about wallet and transactions.

Take note that blockchain.info is already switched to blockchain.com a long time ago and oxt.me is pretty new to me never hear of this before so it's not popular and accessing that site is pretty slow compared to other blockchain explorers you mention above.

I don't know how conversant and familiar you are with all these listed sites; they are all good for wallet tracking in all forms of transactions. I have only used two of the aforementioned. I highly recommend number 3, which is blockchair. They allow users to also see both confirmed and unconfirmed transactions under the main balance reflection, which might help you reduce the worry of not seeing an incoming transaction into your wallet.

My advice to him is to do research before publishing, since this topic has been raised more than once in previous discussions, and there is no point in repeating it. I agree with you on this choice, which I think is the best of them according to my personal experience, since I have tried most of these blockchain explorers. blockchair offers a number of features, the most important of which is the browser add-on and the ability to explore on more than one blockchain, not just the Bitcoin blockchain.
The only criticism of this site is that it inserts advertising banners for sites without verifying their credibility, and I mean here in particular the 1xbit scam site, which has been publishing its ads on this site for a long time, and this causes more victims every day, and confirms that blockchair does not care about the reputation of its partners as long as they pay it what pleases her.

To check Bitcoin address, its balance, and transaction status, you need block explorers for Bitcoin.

Two guides on Blockchain.com and Blockchair.com explorers. When you use a block explorer to check your transaction status, take caution that you need to use Tor to protect your privacy. Pay attention on its opt-in (Replace by Fee RBF) or not and if you make a transaction without RBF, you must note it down and use that opt-in for future transactions. With RBF, you will be able to bump your transaction fee.

Good effort from the OP in this forum by giving some website explore for tracking Bitcoin transaction, all bitcoin transaction need two confirmation to received in our wallet, but has little different thing when depositing bitcoin into exchange wallet and need waiting more than two confirmation block for available withdrawing assets.

For bitcoin transaction tracking I use blockchain.com because seems easy for tracking our transaction with how many block confirmation have working. But some campaign bounties service manager use mempool.space for tracking Bitcoin transaction

Haha, you call yourself a newbie and still named your profile as "Call_Me_Guru". It's interesting and funny too. (no disrespect just kidding with you). other than this, i really like your enthusiasm in teaching others each and everything that you had learned. I found this method very great as i am also a part-time teacher who teaches lower grade students and I have developed a skill in me (idk i should call it a skill or not) of learning better while telling to others. For example, if i am learning about Dead Lock (a computer OS term), in addition to just reading it i prefer to teach or tell others about it (like my class fellows) so that they could also understand it and i will never forget it again too.

Well, if you had searched these 5 topics and learned something from them then you must share your experience too along with the list, like what're the main differences you have found in these five explorers and which one is better, why mempool is showing $2 fee even in the high priority offer and still you are making the transaction from trust wallet to another wallet by paying $3 dollars in fee. My suggestion is, do not make small posts of your each small learnings instead grab a great topic learn about its all aspects and then make a big post with your suggestions and ideas. In that way, your information will look attractive and interesting to read because here we all can find top explorers but what makes them unique (you could cover that and could provide your suggestions).

For the purposes of enhancing privacy, it is best not to use many of these explorers, one is primary and the other is a backup that is sufficient for small and medium transactions and I recommend ----> https://blockchair.com/

It is also better to visit all of these explorers using Tor, disabling JavaScript, disabling cookies, and a trusted VPN.

Correct. The OP effort should be appreciated for being willing to learn about Bitcoin even though there are some other, more basic things that are important to learn.

IMO, the use of the topic made by the OP is not for beginners who are just learning about Bitcoin, but for people who already have Bitcoin assets.
Maybe what a beginner who is just getting involved in Bitcoin needs is something about a Bitcoin wallet and how to get coins.

Am also only used to only two from the list he presented, which are mempool.space and blockchain.info and i think among them all, mempool.space should be the most commonly used of them all if am not mistaking, well i see this as helpful and a means to encourage OP to also add more efforts to making more discovery over time, i believe someone will find this interesting to learn and use or add to the list of his preferred tracking sites.

Of all the links in the list, 3-4 are known to me, and I use only 2. Moreover, to perform various tasks. In fact, a beginners doesn't need so many services, but knowing about the existence of alternatives will be useful, because it allows you to choose the right one for everyone. If I had this list as a beginner, then it is possible that my choice was on other sites, and not blockstream.info and mempool.space, but now I don't want to change my habits.
