It's indeed a big victory because the accusation is serious and the accuser is big, it's SEC. Plus it took for many years in order for the case to be solved. It's only a shame that SEC still calls XRP a security despite XRP already proved that they aren't. They even won the case.

I guess they can't accept the result because they fought a long battle against Ripple only to know that they will lose at the end. They still have other chances left from other crypto companies. I hope the OP won't be cautious with XRP anymore. @OP, not only you but many of us here are also after the decision made by the whales and big companies. He is lying, and people are eating it up. He is lying because he is not happy about this result, the fact that it is now considered a security, directly tied to him means that this is as centralized as it gets and on any wrong move he makes that causes the price of it go down, will be returned with a lawsuit that is geared towards him. This basically opened him up for manipulation, and he could be sued a lot more easily now that it is a security.

People are thinking that he is happy because he says he is happy, and that is understandable how would people know he is a liar, but we all know him for a long time now and I can easily say that he is purely lying, there is no correct thing coming out of his mouth these days.

The judge made such a decision that each side has the right to consider it its victory. The fact that XRP is not recognized as a security is a victory for Ripple. Ripple is really trying to win the case with the sec. It has now asked US District Judge Analisa Torres to not allow sec to oppose the ruling that XRP isnt a security.
It is in the decision of this judge if the sec can appeal. The sec is comparing the XRP case with Terraform Labs and founder Do Kwon who was found guilty.
