That screenshot shows a different wallet from your previous thread, seems like you have a lot of discovered old wallet.dat file, hmm... Why is there are URL in the description? And archive shows that it's not an old website.
Anyways, the bottom part is cut off but your other thread shows that your Bitcoin Core is not fully synced. Wait for Bitcoin Core to sync before declaring that you've found bitcoins or you'll just waste your time recovering the passphrase. Also do not enable "prune block storage" setting so it wont have to resync everytime you load another wallet file.

I accessed my bitcoin core.dat wallet while searching for my old wallets Your previous topic doesn't inspire confidence: but when I look at the blockchain site, it appears to be empty. How did you get those wallets? If you bought them, you're wasting everyone's time. If they're really yours, you should start by rescanning them.

Hello friends. I accessed my bitcoin core.dat wallet while searching for my old wallets. but I can't remember my password...
If you bought those wallet files from someone and actually paid for them, you totally got scammed. Those things are straight-up fake.

Could someone share a link to the other thread you mentioned? OP said that this is one of his old wallets, but others are talking about the possibility of having bought it and I don't read anything related in his words neither here nor in the rest of his few posts. On the other hand, if in the other thread the uncut image shows that it is not synced, then what's the purpose of this new one?

Why is everyone here looking at each other as scammers? People often post here about a "lost password" on a wallet they bought. That's why. If it's real, all you need to do is make a few backups, and remember your password. Or brute-force it. Depending on the difficulty of your password that may or may not be possible.

Look everyone it's satoshi. Those are the txids for the 1st 3 blocks mined. And on a side note wallets from that era cannot easily be opened in a modern client. And probably a bunch of other things show that this is not your wallet. -Dave

What does it matter whose wallet it is? It does matter. What if its a big corporate's wallet? They will track you down anyhow if you try to hack their wallet. You will have to use an exchange to convert it into fiat and you'll get caught then. After all, I have the dat file. all we have to do is crack the password?
Its not that easy if its not your wallet. You have no hint as to which type of password may be used there like "a name" or "a number" or both. If it was your wallet, you'd have some hints as you know yourself better.

Look everyone it's satoshi. Those are the txids for the 1st 3 blocks mined. Lol, I didn't catch that detail. It confirms my initial suspicion: OP doesn't own those addresses. What does it matter whose wallet it is? After all, I have the dat file. all we have to do is crack the password? if this is possible i will give half of the coins inside the wallet. Learn how Bitcoin works. It's obvious you didn't create this wallet by yourself, and it's also obvious the real owner of those addresses didn't give it to you. So at best, someone created a fake wallet. There is no password to crack, the wallet doesn't contain the private keys. Give it up.

When you come here and ask for help, at least be kind and honest. That's not your .dat file and I even bet you bought it, so, congrats, you got scammed. If you want to recover that wallet's password, you should have a look at this guide that's written by our forum member: Bitcoin2john: the reliable cracker that will break wallet.dat files.

You said it was your wallet! Those pictures you've posted show the reward from the first 3 blocks in Bitcoin history. This means you must be Satoshi, and as I'm quite unsure about your knowledge, let me explain further, this means you must have created Bitcoin! After all, I have the dat file. all we have to do is crack the password?
Yeah, that's all you have to do! So, drop the act, how much have you paid for it or how much are you going to ask a noob to pay for this garbage?

AFAIK, encryption has been added since version 2.3.0, and if you have been "found" those files and the transactions were from 2009, then this file will definitely not contain encryption with password. If you bought it, it is most likely a fraud, as its contents have been manipulated to show the public key for these transactions, and even if you find the password, you will not find the private key for these addresses.

Why stop at only 150 BTC when you can have thousands that are supposedly locked in lost wallets? In case you are bored and if you have extra money, you can fool yourself for the rest of your life that you are rich -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5421106.0

It matters because you are wasting time here trying to "crack the password" of the dat file, or are you even too dumb to figure that out?

If he continues to thousands of it, it will be big and someone here can be holding bitcoin more than Satoshi through this process.

I am going to say what many probably think. You, NeophyteReq, are an idiot! By saying that it doesn't matter to you whose wallet it is, shows that you are ok with stealing money and bitcoins that don't belong to you. Which means that you are not just an idiot but a piece of shit on top of it. I hope you paid a lot of money for it and that you got scammed. You deserve it.
