Seriously.  With an open mind how would this ever be considered a sport.  I'm open to dialog but I don't get it, and then second what are some of the things that you could bet on?  I'm not getting it lol.

We cannot compare this to a baseball match or a Football championship which one can enjoy openly with other people and even children around. If this even gets broadcast on TV or streaming on internet it would be in very restricted hours or conditions. Pay per view, or something.

If this sport is going to be real, they will broadcast the "matches" only through +18 channels, such as those porn channels from pay television and porn websites. I think traditional casinos wouldn't add this kind of content to their grades, unless they create a sub-restricted section on their platforms with a warning message for sensitive content. Other platforms like Youtube can also broadcast the event partially, at least some kind of advertisement without explicit content.

That is a fake news because when I made a Google search I was taken to site where it was proven that the European Sex Championship is just a fluff news and is just used to get attention on social media. It's totally fake and has no real background. It was also proven that "Sex Federation" isn't a member of Swedish Sports Confederation. They have nothing with each other and the news media are just trying to viral the fact just to earn revenue from social media and other means.

I have no idea what the organizers are thinking or hoping to accomplish with this particular sport. All of this is merely one of the final warning flags. What rules will govern this game? Is it the case that the team with the most rounds wins, or what? I'm still having trouble visualizing how a sex game would work. Will participants be married couples or just singles hanging out to f**k each other in front of the public? This is absurd. Imagine individuals traveling great distances to view live porn while some may attend this events to support their friends and families participating in it. LOL… What kind of impact would this have on kids? Will you let them watch this game? and will this sport be broadcasted on live TV?

Since this isn't even a sport in the first place, I'll never be able to place a bet on it, so why waste my time and money? Well, it’s a good thing the claim about having an European sex championship as a registered sport is false cause it  sounds really crazy and I didn’t think any sports body would approve it’s existence.
And I had wondered how the so called sport would have been televised and broadcasted all over. But I do know there are crazy people out there that would apply in a heartbeat to be registered if at any time a crazy and irrelevant “sport” like sex competition ever comes into existence. We were able to watch and play different sports and when the same gets listed among the sports played around who would let their child be part of such thing. However, sex is not a sport because I don't see it as a sport but rather as madness. I can't even believe this news; I think it's a hoax. However, these will ruin some people's lives.
In my perspective, sex is not like football, which can be done in public; therefore, seeing these posts made me laugh.

Well it is up to the participants to take that decision. If they consider sex as a sport, let them do that. Others have the freedom to ignore their opinion. And it's not like all of a sudden sex will be included in the Olympics or the Commonwealth Games as one of the disciplines. Swedish culture is quite unique and outsiders will find a lot of things very weird. Anyway, in today's world young people are losing their interest in sex. And who knows, after a few decades sex between humans will be a thing of the past. Let them celebrate when it still exists.

Not only is it detrimental to the value of the sport but it will also damage the younger generation, who might even watch such a public sex show if the show is truly accessible to all without filters. After all, sex is the most private thing for two people and should not be shown publicly. It's fake, that being said, from what I have read, "Sweden Sex Federation" really did send an application to make sex labelled as a sport but it was rejected.

I think they have gone too deep into it. I wouldn't consider sex as a sport and any tournament that takes place in the name of sex is purely the promotion of pornography, and erotic vibes in the minds of the youngsters. How could something like sex is supposed to be a sport? It's a way of life and is important for our well being and reproduction, and is a act that should be done in privacy. They're now naming it in championships and that will only promote vulgarity and cheap mindset for the viewers.

I would never bet on this thing because it isn't a right sport in my mind and I would keep distance from such sports that directly promote nudity and shamelessness. Although, that's their choice for creating such sports, but I don't think that anyone with a sane mindset would ever favor such sports unless they love vulgarity.

if the news OP shared is real, I don't think any online gambling site would adopt about this type of sex gambling except physical gambling in the country. because it is clear that this type of gambling is not worth watching and betting on.
I just thought whether strange things like this will always be interesting for those who like to gamble with a new atmosphere? If it's true, I can't imagine that one day there will be other types of bets, such as people defecating, which will also be used for betting.

I have read today's news and indeed this is a news that is always brought up by other media so there is no competition on 8th june or today and all that is fake.

In an article, there is the Sex Federation in Sweden which proposed this sport but the results were rejected because maybe considering it would be controversial if approved, but this has not been officially confirmed by Sweden.
I suspect that this will never happen even though for example there will be another proposal submitted so we will remain calm that this is not a sporting event.

This is what on my mind too on which they might really be trying out to see on whats the overall reaction of people on why they do make out such news to spread out which on the time that they have seen that

people do see it negative then they had made it as a false news or fake one but if they have seen that there's so much support into it then they might really be having that able to launch that sex competition.

Maybe that is the reason why this was published in the first place: whoever made the application about registering sex as a sport in Sweden wants the public to know more about it, and maybe get a pulse on what the public opinion is about it. Idk why but it just feels wrong to see sex as a sport - at least for me. Idk what their metrics and guidelines in scoring would be, and even if they come up with one, how sure are we that it's something that can be standardized anyway? It's a futile effort to push sex as a sport, or even think about gambling with it.
