I wish to also extend my congratulations message to OgNasty on the forum because he has been an amazing member and you could tell from what he has done to the forum in the past and his present days here, there's a lot to learn about him, twelve years is not a joke on bitcointalk and definitely it's worth celebrating, i also believe that one day, i will have a reason in celebrating this and more to come on the forum with giving my best.

I really appreciate all the ego inflating comments on this thread. I typically only hear negative feedback from a handful of users so it’s even a bit surprising to get so many positive responses.

There's no need for too much surprise. When the time comes for you to be recognized for all of your hard work and efforts, you will be generously appreciated, regardless of how much negativity has been associated to you in the past.

I’m not sure being here for 12 years makes me a legend, but it does show that I’m a little bit insane. I can’t imagine any sane person putting up with the harassment I’ve received from forum members here on and outside this forum, yet here I am.

Simply being able to keep up with all of the harassment certifies you as a forum legend. You now know your genuine self and how important you are in this forum. This is your moment to receive all of the plaudits you deserved from day one but did not receive.

I honestly hope that this forum isn’t used to harass others in the way I have been, but am grateful to be the steel hardened with the hottest fire.

The journey to the top is filled with challenges that will test and shape you into the best version of yourself. No one reaches the top without experiencing harassment or disappointment from other people along the way. Thank God you refrained from leaving the forum due to the harassment. The negative experiences you had on the forum are now things of the past that you should completely forget about and never remember.

Regardless of merit, the majority of the forum members that will see this post of your 12 years in the bitcointalk forum will still celebrate you afterward because you deserved to be celebrated for staying in the forum for more than a decade. Not everyone has the ability.

It's that time of year again.  14 years ago I stumbled onto something while doing research for a book I was writing.  I the switched gears from writing about the problem, to joining those building a solution.  It has been the ride of a lifetime and I'm looking forward to writing the next chapter in my own story.  I can't express enough gratitude for those in this community that have remained positive and put Bitcoin first always.  

If you would like to do something for me on this special occasion, I would like to request that you do 100 push-ups today.  You being a stronger person is all the present I need.

Not too many decade old accounts posting here, because the list of scams OG has committed far outweighs the good.  He mainly targets the ignorant noobs now, but I'm glad to see he respects BPIP.  

Hopefully we do not make it to a 15th year and this forum can become peaceful and profitable for everyone again.

Thanks. Yes, I’ve done quite a few educational threads teaching people things like encryption, message signing, multi-signature address usage, etc.

In my opinion though, the most awesome thing I ever did was offer to provide free electricity so people could pool together $400 and get an FPGA miner going on behalf of the community. More than a decade later and I’m still cooling miners at my home, providing free electricity, and distributing Bitcoin to members of the community.

Congratulations OgNasty! 14 years of activity on a forum is a huge milestone and it shows that you were dedicated to this forum from the beginning and overtime you've proven that by being active for such a long period. I'm happy to see you here and hope you'll continue to be an important part of the forum for many coming years. It's a dream and wish to be here and see Bitcoin at $1M per coin. $100k was the first dream and that 100 push ups did their best I guess, now let's hope to see it at $1M per coin. I'm thinking now what I was doing on this day 15 years ago. I was still going to school and already starting another careless summer after it and I had no idea about Bitcoin. While you already was deep into Bitcoin.

I'm thinking now what I was doing on this day 15 years ago. I was still going to school and already starting another careless summer after it and I had no idea about Bitcoin. While you already was deep into Bitcoin.

I believe it was around $4 when I joined the forum and then quickly ran up to $32 in that first week. The six months that followed it dropped down to below $2. That’s when my journey really started, as I didn’t abandon it like most did in that first >90% drop.

Over these 15 long years, you have worked in different ways on different topics. Among them, the main point that deserves appreciation is that you are a very friendly person. I can see that you are one of the most active members in the Push-up thread and remain at the top with the highest number of push-ups. During your journey, you have witnessed everything, including bitcoin's price from the beginning until now, with your own eyes, so it can be said that you are a fortunate person.
