I've been using TOR for some time now in order to access the forum. However, almost every few hours, I get the following error:
Quote
Onionsite Has Disconnected
Details: 0xF2 — Introduction failed, which means that the descriptor was found but the service is no longer connected to the introduction point. It is likely that the service has changed its descriptor or that it is not running.
This is only specific to browsing the forum. If I open a new tab when that error appears and browse other communities/websites I'm still able to access them freely and without any problem. Usually I get this error fixed by resetting my identity in the browser but that is a bummer considering that I lose every tab open at the time.

Has anyone faced this problem before?

That is not a forum issue but it's a common issue even on other websites when accessing you can sometimes get this error and I think the cause may be due to an overloaded Tor network.

I can't find any possible solution to this but to reset your identity or wait for a few hours it will fix by itself.

Has anyone faced this problem before?
It never happened to me.
What happens after you refresh browser with new identity?
I think this should easily solve the problem, and yeah, I know you have to enter login details and maybe solve captchas each time when you do that.

Whenever I refresh the browser with a new identity I can access the forum again. Perhaps BitMaxz is right and this has to due with some kind of overload on the Tor network. I just find it odd that it only happened (so far) whenever I'm browsing the forum.

When I run into Tor-related issues with Bitcointalk, I usually hit Ctrl+Shift+L (i.e. New Circuit for this Site), and that almost always clears it up (and leaves my tabs intact).

Taking the opportunity, do you have any sense of the genre like TalkImg?
I know that some users sometimes wait a while to open the page, having to close the tab and open it again.  Undecided

Yes, but it also happens to few .onion domain i've visited. For reference, when you visit Bitcointalk.org on Tor Browser you actually visit .onion domain due to one of CloudFlare feature[1]. You can verify that by checking alt-svc header when you access any page on this forum. And as @PowerGlove said, i also use Ctrl+Shift+L to solve the problem.

Thank you! I wasn't aware of this shortcut and concept, it just worked the last time that this error appeared. I'll close this thread today if nothing more appears to discuss regarding this topic as surelly I won't be the last one with this problem...
Taking the opportunity, do you have any sense of the genre like TalkImg?

It mostly depends on the time of the day that I try to access the website. About 1 ago I was getting the message "One moment we're checking..." but it was only one time and it quickly disappeared. I guess it has to due with how many users are accessing the website at the time of my request.
Has anyone faced this problem before?

[1] https://blog.cloudflare.com/cloudflare-onion-service/
I've opened the Developer Tools window and searched in the Network tab but didn't find any mention of the alt-svc header. And it seems the issue that I was having is related to this service offered by Cloudfare as there is still discussing regarding how to display this routing per these tickets[1][2]:
Quote
Today I noticed that the tab had switched to a "Problem Loading Onionsite", "Onionsite Has Disconnected", "The most likely cause is that the onionsite is offline. Contact the onionsite administrator.",  "Details: 0xF2 — Introduction failed, which means that the descriptor was found but the service is no longer connected to the introduction point. It is likely that the service has changed its descriptor or that it is not running." page from the #19251 (closed) feature.
Quote
Ah ha! I looked at my circuit path and my exit was 78.129.193.54, which is a non-exit relay.
And it looks like my webcomic has switched to cloudflare.
So this was an alt-srv situation, and it's another instance of "Tor Browser is using an onion address but nothing in the interface gives me a hint about it".

I just tested it and it works perfectly, it's much better than hard reset, so only time when this wont' work is when circuit or website are down for some reason.

Yeah, i also forget that Cloudflare's feature is buggy. Anyway, you should able to see alt-svc on response header. Here's an example
