Both BEP- 20 and ERC- 20 are great networks and this explains why they are very popular for developers.
However, they both have their merits and demerits. For instance, in terms of transaction fee and speed, one would prefer BEP- 20 over the ERC-20.

We can not say which one is better than the other one. Because everyone has their own unique features.  But If you want to compare the above two, you can use the below points.

1. Gas fee
2. Transaction speed
3. Decentralization of the network
4. User Adoption
5. Amount of liquidity

It all started with ERC20. This was the first type of token who are in demand but by the time the ETH fee rises, coin devs have came up with a solution and they started to create tokens from other networks. There is also TRC20. I'm not only sure if it came first before BEP20 but right now I think most of the coins are still on BEP20 but coins under TRC20 are also cheap.

The most popular product of it would be the Tether. I always use it more than the ETH version. There is also BUSD from Binance but Tether from TRC20 is much popular. It is accepted on most crypto sites that I visit and also on crypto wallets that I am using. Overall, It's not about the network but it's about how the token is created. There are lots of failed ERC20 tokens before in case you don't know. It happened in the ICO era.

Technically speaking, there is no difference between Binance's BEP-20 and Ethereum's ERC-20 token standards. It's just that BRC-20 token transfers are cheaper and faster because BSC (Binance Smart Chain) has greater transaction capacity than Ethereum (ETH). But that doesn't mean it will stay like that forever. If BSC becomes heavily-congested, then fees will be the same (or even higher) than ETH. I think most people will choose ERC-20 tokens because of their first-mover advantage on the market. These tokens can be used nearly anywhere, unlike Binance's counterpart.

I've previously mentioned something about BRC-20 tokens being inferior than ERC-20 tokens, and turns out, I was right. You can't just make a complex token with the BRC-20 standard than either the ERC-20 or BEP-20 token standards. Besides, ERC-20 is a little outdated. The new ERC-1155 multi-token standard is a much better choice. We may start seeing an equivalent version on BSC soon. Who knows if these two giants (BSC and ETH) will completely change the "De-Fi" landscape in the future? Just my thoughts

It's true that the future of the "De-Fi" landscape is uncertain, and while you might believe that there will be significant changes, it's important to recognize that it remains to be seen what the strengths and weaknesses of each are. network will ultimately affect their position. That's normal whenever a price pump comes, expect that even those unpopular chains will also get an increase in fee if they don't scale up and when their demand increases.

I honestly think it's more of a problem with the fact that ethereum price just simply gets too high, current gwei required for ethereum was normal back in the days, it's just around
10 gwei or so, and it's become abnormal after it went that high and even if scalability increased, it's still the same problem until today.
even the release of second layer solution didn't do much either, I guess we still have long way to go until this problems gets resolved honestly.
at the meantime, just use the second layer and we're set, though doesn't mean every token is available in these 2nd layer.

I guess that we have to bear with it if it's about Ethereum's ecosystem and scalability. The problem will also exist in other chains but good that some of them manage to get rid of the high fees despite having the increased demand. Why can't the other projects do the same and just follow that track wherein the users are the ones that are benefiting from it? It all leads to business matters, despite that the demand of a project is high and some issues are still unsolvable if some solutions are offered by other projects, that can't happen to collab but it's good that we're seeing altcoins having supported in other chains so that's one good collaboration that we're seeing as a solution for high fees.

Asking which is better between BEP20 and ERC20 is just like you asking which is better or preferred between Bitcoin and Ethereum when we know Bitcoin is the reason why we have cryptocurrency through it is every other cryptocurrency is introduced into the market.
Ethereum introduced the dApps while others emulate the ETH concept to create their own dApps.

If so, then i will opt out bep20 for low fee. If not, then i have to choice erc20. That's it

Agreed, the fees becoms the main consideration in picking the token here. The ethereum fees sometime is not even making sense. I will also prefer to pick bep 20 rather than erc 20,
The fees was creting very big different between both of tokens. People these days prefer to take low fees token rather than gradully paid non sense fees in ethereum network. bep is a winner here.

I will always choose bro 20 token because of its very cheap transaction fees. Although, ERC 20 enjoys better and stronger security. And high transaction fees makes it difficult or not too easy for scam projects team to choose ERC-20 fo use it for their projects.

I agree with you because ERC-20 tokens have a little high transaction fees but still considered the best network but BSC-20 network fees are very low so maximum scam tokens are launched on the BSC-20 network. So before investing in any token of BSC-20 network everyone should recharge well about that project but according to me if you are interested in giving your com free then definitely BSC Network is Best Choice.

blockchain always faces such scalability issues, the other hasn't yet face that problem because they aren't nearly as big as ethereum.

The comparison is absurd. There are no really major and significant differences between BEP-20 and ERC-20. ERC20 remains popular because ERC20 was the first smart contract before BEP20, so naturally ERC20 is more popular than BEP20 and I think both are very good, then in my opinion it's not ERC20 or BEP20 that determines if the token is good or not, but the projects you want to invest, because if the project is really good, then it will definitely bring you profit, but my advice is if the project is on the ERC20 and BEP20 network, then you better buy it on BEP20, because the gas fees from BEP20 are much cheaper than ERC20.

It depends on your purpose how/why you want to use those. Cause both of Erc20 and bep20 both are high by quality. But erc network is most Secure, so most of people keep using it. And due to high traffic on erc network, it takes time to done transactions and charge more fees. Besides bsc Network also in demand but not as much as erc. That's why bsc Network fee is less. But both are good for use

ERC of Ethereum was better back then before the gas fees is just little but sadly gas fees on ETH are outrageous that's why I preferred now the BEP20 tokens because of the gas fees that are cheap. There are good projects as well on BSC and some projects switching to it because of the convenience and fast speed network offered by BSC network.
