Electrum wallet as cold in windows any suggestion
Very important thing to keep in mind: Your device will never go online, not until you reset the windows again for the device. To have a copy of Electrum in the offline device you need to use an USB flash drive. Copy Electrum from the online device you have and move it to the offline device. Create a wallet, write down the seeds (you are free to remove the wallet file once seeds are written down or you are finish with a session), get the Master Public Key. May be use a text file and store the Master Public Key in the USB flash drive to transfer it in the device that is online. In the online device restore a watch only wallet using the Master Public Key. You should be able to see same address set for both offline wallet (main wallet) and restored watch only copy in the online device.

Electrum wallet as cold in windows any suggestion
AFAIK, here's my suggestion. - Wasabi Wallet
- Armory
- MyEtherWallet (MEW)
Electrum wallet as cold in windows any suggestion
Very important thing to keep in mind: Your device will never go online, not until you reset the windows again for the device. Remember not only the wifi connection that you need to cut off it includes turning off Bluetooth, and any other network interfaces. The process should always be offline, when you want to open it, move the signed transaction file or raw transaction data back to an online device using the USB drive. Open the online version of the wallet software or use a blockchain explorer to broadcast the signed transaction to the network.

If I were you I just need a new hard drive without an old laptop as a cold wallet, and you have to download the Electrum portable version to your new hard drive, but for sure, before using that portable version on Hardisk, you have to read the security advice, Here. As my experience, I used Electrum portable version for about 1 year before buying a Hardware wallet. I don't have a problem with that, maybe because I used a clean PC and don't install anything there. If you tech-savvy, you can use your old laptop and install Tails OS on your USB drive which I think is enough safety and privacy.

Electrum wallet as cold in windows any suggestion
There's nothing special in the setup aside from creating an extra watching-only wallet on an online PC for transaction creation and balance monitoring. You just have to create a wallet on an " Air-Gap" PC ( WiKi about Air-Gap setup), export its " master public key" and import it to an online PC. This is not a video guide but these pictures and instructions should be easy to follow; On your Offline PC:- Create a new wallet, start by typing your preferred wallet name, press "Next"
- Select the option "Standard wallet", press "Next", then in the next window select "Create a new seed".
- Your 12-word seed will show, copy this to a paper or other forms of physical backup (e.g. metal plates).
After copying it, Press "Next" and Electrum will ask you to retype the seed to confirm if your backup is correct. Finish the rest of the steps.
- After creating the offline wallet, open the menu "Wallet->Information"
- This "Wallet Information" window will open.
Find a way to copy the master public key; either by manually writing it on a paper, or copy-paste to a text file to be transferred via flash drive, or use the QR code icon that can be scanned in the online PC's camera during the watching-only wallet creation.
On your Online PC:- Create a new wallet by following the same steps up to the selection of "Standard Wallet",
but instead of creating a new seed, select "Use a master key" instead, then press "Next".
- Paste or Scan (via the camera icon) your master public key, and finish the rest of the steps.
To be sure that you've set-it up correctly, you can check both wallet's " Addresses" tab if they're identical. ( Open the menu: "View->Show Addresses" to enable the tab)

In addition to what has been mentioned above, strongly consider not using Windows and using an open source Linux distro instead. I would also suggest enabling full disk encryption when you install Linux, so if someone physically accesses your airgapped computer they cannot extract any useful or sensitive information from it. Also make sure to verify the copy of Electrum you download on your live computer before transferring it to your airgapped computer for installation.
Trezor Wasabi Wallet And subject yourself to mass surveillance and government sanctioned censorship? No thanks.

I would recommend a Linux distro, as o_e_l_e_o mentioned because Windows is often criticized for its security issues. However if you're more comfortable with Windows and plan to use it on an air-gapped device, it shouldn't be a problem. In addition to that, I would suggest checking out this guide created by Sowik that delves into securing your air-gapped laptop. It provides detailed information on how to safeguard your bitcoin or even your other crypto. Although the topic may be dated, it remains highly informative at least for me.

Did I miss something regarding Trezor that I shouldn't have? or you're just referring to their partnership with Wasabi wallet?

Trezor Wasabi Wallet And subject yourself to mass surveillance and government sanctioned censorship? No thanks. Security and privacy are getting attacked from all sides these days, that's for sure. Just when Ledger announces their "Shared Self-Custody" service, Trezor is contracting with Wasabi who's in turn contracting with arbitrary Chain Analyses scammers. It's really too bad about Trezor, they had such a good thing going being among the most popular fully open-source hardware wallets. Even their app allows for one to connect to a private SPV server for bitcoin (and maybe some shitcoins, but I wouldn't know.) Contracting with Wasabi is such a slap in the face to their customers who care about privacy. At this point I feel like my Trezor One is useless, and my Trezor Model T has been relegated for use with my XMR full node only. If Foundation implements XMR compatibility into their Passport wallet, Trezor will be in real trouble.

Did I miss something regarding Trezor that I shouldn't have? or you're just referring to their partnership with Wasabi wallet? As DireWolfM14 has explained. Even if you don't touch the Wasabi functionality with Trezor, it reveals a lot about their mentality and their priorities. They also supported AOPP last year, which was essentially a method for centralized exchanges to enforce KYC on your own addresses, and they deliberately sweep their unfixable seed extraction vulnerabilities under the rug and do not warn new users about how to protect themselves against these vulnerabilities. As with Ledger implementing more shitcoin support rather than addressing this Ledger Recovery debacle, it shows that Trezor care first and foremost about profits, with users' privacy and security way down their list of priorities. I would not trust them. If Foundation implements XMR compatibility into their Passport wallet, Trezor will be in real trouble. I'm fairly sure Foundation will never release official XMR firmware, but there is a community project started here (albeit with little activity, it seems): https://github.com/mjg-foundation/passport2-monero

How to Install Tails OS on USB flash drive for Wallet Purpose. It is a good tutorial on setting up a Tail OS on USB flash drive. It is very helpful for people who don't have personal computer or laptop to use and have to use their wallets on public computers which are used by many guests at an Internet café.
