I'd like to seek the guidance of bitcoiners on how I can cancel a transaction or whatever other alternative there is.



I sent bitcoin from my xverse wallet to another wallet over 3 days and the transaction has not been processed. What can I do to cancel or speed up the transaction?

The first question does Xverse wallet supports the replace by fee (RBF) method or CPFP method if it doesn’t then find a wallet that supports them like BlueWallet and maybe import your seeds there.

Or better still, use the viabtc.com accelerator. You can just copy your transaction id and paste it on this site to help rebroadcast your transaction again

If you control the keys of the wallet that you transferred the coin to, import the seed phrase on Electrum or Bluewallet and use CPFP for it.

OP image is not clear, but the fee rate used is not up to 7 sat/vbyte if you check it very well. It is around 6.11 or 6.31 sat/vbyte or so. The fee needed to use ViaBTC free accelerator is 10 sat/byte. The wallet will not likely support RBF too.

To cancel your transaction, you must have Replace By Fee opt-in for that transaction. If you have RBF, you don't need to cancel that transaction because you can bump the fee to a higher fee rate and get confirmations.

Mempools are less congested in the last four days and your transaction should have better chance to have a confirmation today than 4 days ago.

In the case a transaction hasn't been flagged as RBF, you can't bump its fee, even if you import your wallet into a wallet supporting RBF.

Viabtc doesn't rebroadcast transactions. If you submit your transaction to Viabtc, they will include it in the next block mined by them. That's different from rebroadcasting.
Note that for using ViaBTC free service, the fee rate must be equal or greater than 10 sat/byte. Otherwise, you have to use their paid service.

And the paid service is expensive. According to someone post last month or so which I can't find again, it requested for $40. When I wanted to try it in the past, it requested $70.

Unfortunately, mempool is clogged since the Brc-20 ordinals hype, you can no longer send 1 sat/vB as fee. Looking at the current mempool state, your transaction or the fee that you used is very low, and it might take sometime to be pickup by miners. Not sure if xverse wallet has RBF as others have said, if not, then you can't do anything about it but to wait. Usually transactions stays in the mempool for 2 weeks and it no miners pick it up, then it will revert back to your xverse wallet.

Edit: unfortunately, the wallet does not support RBF or it might not have been activated.

Since there is no change address in the transaction, you can use CPFP, only if you have full control over 1AZepsGtdPNoE369k6c8hMgWzVnkxQNbjd.

If the address belongs to a custodial service like an exchange, the only thing you can do is wait.

First of all know this that you cannot cancel a transaction that has been sent or reverse it, you also needs to check the wallet address you used and reconfirm that if it's correct and there's no single omission on the receiving address, but even though your transactions fee was that low I don't think so it should get more than two days before it gets confirmed, especially now that the issue of high transaction fee has come down and the network isn't as congested as before, maybe you should try to import your wallet on electrum and pump the fee, you can also use viabtc mining pool to decrease this transaction confirmation time, lastly i hope it's not an issue resulting to spending of unconfirmed transaction.

OP's transaction is around 35 vMB from the tip and I don't think it will be confirmed in the next 2 days.

I tested the Paid Service of ViaBTC Transaction Accelerator with the OP's transaction hash. I don't screenshot it but details are below.

The fee for its Paid service, as of writing is 0.0020672 BTC or $53 equivalently. That is very expensive cost.

If you had marked the transaction as eligible for RBF, you could have resubmitted the transaction with a higher fee.

But, because you did not or could not, your only option is CPFP, which is a technique in which the receiver sends the bitcoins they are receiving from you with a very high fee to somewhere else. The high fee motivates miners to confirm your transaction so that they can then confirm the new transaction and get its fee.

However, since an exchange controls the receiving address and they are unlikely to help, you will just have to wait.

Good, because you can't do anything about it, as others have said, but to wait.

Let this be just a lesson not just for you but for everyone else to check the state of the mempool to see how much fee you need to in order for your transaction to at least in the next block. We all know that it's getting expensive, but if you are in hurry then there's you have to bump your fee.

hosseinimr93 has given you the right answers. The fee of 6.71 sat/vbyte is too small. I will advice you to import your sender wallet seed phrase on Electrum or Bluewallet and wait until you can rebroadcast the coin again. It can take two weeks.

I think the fee rate of 6.71sat/vB might be considered relatively low, depending on network congestion at the time of your transaction. Try the Replace-by-fee (RBF) option If your wallet supports the Replace-by-Fee feature, you can try increasing your transaction fee rate to make it more attractive to miners. This might help speed up the confirmation process. However, not all wallets or services support RBF, so check if this is an option for you.

It's rare to see someone send bitcoin below 10 sat/vb considering how quickly the transaction fees shoot up lately. It's getting lower recently with lowest being confirmed at 8 sat/vb so you could get lucky with your ~7 sat/vb today. Just hope that no "attacker" would spam the network again hehe.

If that transaction won't get luckily confirmation today, it will be either dropped of mempools or stucked for at least 6 to 7 more days before a next weekend. Because it is risky to save 2 or 3 sat/byte, in future, if OP faces with a situation like this, bumping the fee to get a confirmation next hours is better.

Like fee rate from 10 to 12 sat/vbyte will be good if bumping fee rate is possible.

Just a note for OP to learn and to use in future because with this case, OP only can wait.
