I guess you're talking about Bangladesh, right? Anyway, not to take anything away from your country I think unemployment is generally a problem for most underdeveloped countries where their leaders steal the scare resources they've got without punishment.

Back to the issue, it's true that Bitcoin is phenomenal in this age but we can't say it's specifically taking away unemployment. It's the services directly or indirectly associated with it that does. For instance, just buying and hodling Bitcoin won't do much for anyone except they sell off. In doing that, they're trading it. In trading it, exchanges are involved. That was my setup way back when I was still in college, I'm supporting my own through the help of Bitcoin, and it was good since I can buy whatever I wanted and needed. Bitcoin introduced me to a lot of opportunities that couldn't be attain when being employed, since you can earn so much in cryptocurrency based on how good you are compare to working in a company in which you're not getting any benefits aside from working 8 hours a day, which is very tiring for me.

many years ago (before the fee wars priced out utility) i visited some 3rd world countries and they loved having EASY access to an international currency that were offering remote working opportunities where the average wage was paid in 1st world countries wage amounts. it allowed them to take the small jobs 1st worlders thought were minimum wage and impractical but were luxury wages for the 3rd worlders

usually with fiat. to get a fiat paid job usually requires people having bank accounts and social security numbers and proof of residency and tax ID and such. meaning there was a barrier of entry for foreign workers getting a job hosted by a 1st world nation.. or if the 1st world nation were paying a 3rd world nation in fiat. they would under pay them far far far below 1st world nations minimum wage.

In what way they are earning?
The only way an individual could earn money from this industry in general, and without investing is through airdrops (not all are paying), whitelisting, faucets, and campaigns in this forum (on signatures requirement is high knowing how hard it is to earn merit although there are contests they may join but there are skills required). Also with investment, the market price of Bitcoin is not consistently increasing which means profit won't be continuous, and that answers the question as well regarding unemployment and such which I think is impossible. In my country bitcoin has helped a lot of unemployed youth that was begging on the street due to bad government that only care about themselves and their family. People suffering from unemployment do not change even after Bitcoin has been introduced.  The job created by Bitcoin or cryptocurrency start-up does not suffice or create an impact where unemployment is reduced.  Bitcoin is not an all-out fixed for unemployment because it only covers a few areas of specialty and we all know every year there are tons of graduates from different courses that Bitcoin cannot cover.  It can help with employment but is not so huge that it will eliminate unemployment even with the government utilizing its potentials.

Well, I guess there are some people not only in your country, but around the world who took the pandemic as an opportunity for them to work online, and stay home. Unemployment cannot be really eliminated, what people can do is to use bitcoin as a payment tool which allows them to exchange their products and services with people all over the world that otherwise will be difficult to reach while at the same time they get to use a common currency between the two, but that is pretty much it, bitcoin is not a tool that is going to solve any kind of big crisis or anything, bitcoin was built by Satoshi as a hard asset and as a network, and those are two functions that bitcoin performs admirably well, anything else which people try to do with bitcoin is their decision and it has nothing to do with bitcoin itself.

Personally, this is where I am at currently. The privilege of working online at the convenience of my home makes this venue both a privilege and a blessing. I cannot stress enough on how signature campaigns helped me support through funding my college materials and expenses.

Not only did doing cryptocurrencies helped me but it also indirectly helped my family in alleviating the expenses. The fact that I can purchase my own materials for myself without the need of asking from my father makes this as the perfect avenue in terms of support.

Well, you are right though, the only way I think bitcoin suppresses unemployment in the society is through trading, atleast, I know of some unemployed guys who are now full time crypto traders and also have a small investment in bitcoin, and they are doing really well financially.

Bitcoin for early investors has given them enough wealth that the only work required of them is to safely keep the bitcoin, and that's it. They are either earning a daily profit or enjoying long-term benefits.

As a student, Bitcoin might not directly give you a working opportunity for you to earn directly from, but the development and introduction of Bitcoin have created a lot of work opportunities for people. Now, with a little skill online, one can now earn with Bitcoin, so they don't necessarily have to go out of their house to serve anyone or work in anyone's office. It's also undeniable that one can also earn a little income to add to what they are giving for their academic support.

I see Bitcoin as something that creates a lot of opportunities, not just for the youth but for everyone who knows how to use opportunity, but job creation and the reduction of unemployment are never one of the things I see as part of Bitcoin's ambition; it all depends on how we see it and how we use it that will determine what it will be for us. Bitcoin has been used as a payment option for a lot of job opportunities out there, but Bitcoin is not directly an employer of labor, so it doesn't directly create employment opportunities or reduce the rate of unemployment.

you are right, in my country the mojority of bitcoin users or bitcoin investors are young people or at least people in age of under 40 years, although people who are 40 years up are exist in this crypto sphere in my country but the ammount are not much.

There are many people who are working on Bitcoin besides studying. By doing this, their time is being spent through work and they are also able to earn some money through Bitcoin. By doing this, they are able to support their own expenses and financially support their family. I think when this Bitcoin was not in circulation in my country many people are almost suffering from unemployment problem. The current people who have chosen bitcoin as a profession are not only able to help their families financially but also support our country economically through this young generation bitcoin.

I think there are no correlation when you are talking about between workers who do their job then still invest + earn from bitcoin and people suffer with unemployment which is people is not already got any job but have earning on bitcoin.

I think the government of our country should support Bitcoin. What is your opinion on this?

Every year students of our country are living unemployment without getting a job after graduation. and their numbers are slowly increasing as the years roll by. Educated youths are choosing online freelancing to eliminate this unemployment by doing this online freelancing work they are earning money and eliminating unemployment in the country and fulfilling their daily needs. and being able to support their families financially. Many youths are into Cryptocurrency and making money for themselves in this part of the country that I came from though the government doesn't accept the trade. As someone from a region where we are facing an unprecedented level of unemployment (it is expected to rise to  40.6% as compared to 2022’s 37.7% according to reports¹), I can say that the solution to this is the collaboration between governments, educational institutions, and private companies in developing training programs and initiatives that will equip young Africans with the necessary skills to participate in the blockchain and cryptocurrency industry. Here is my reason.  As of 2022 my country was ranked among the top 20 countries in the global crypto adoption index². What this reveals is that there is a potential for bitcoin and cryptocurrency to provide economic opportunities.

There is a rising need for qualified individuals in the blockchain industry as Bitcoin usage keeps growing throughout my nation and continent. Nigeria had an 81% growth rate in blockchain talent, which placed it fourth among other nations in 2022 ³. By itself, this indicates that there are numerous career opportunities for Nigerians in the blockchain business, as well as a significant talent pool that can be developed. New jobs and economic growth will be created as a result. The bitcoin and cryptocurrency sector itself provides young people in my area with access to well-paying employment in a rapidly expanding and developing digital economy.

True that Bitcoin purpose of creation is to remove third party in processing transaction but we cannot deny the fact that with the benefits gotten from Bitcoin, it helps people to save money while others even profit from Bitcoin involvement thus it enable them to create business that demands employment.  With this situation happening, Bitcoin Industry helps in the reduction of unemployment in a country, especially when a country is positive towards Bitcoin adoption.

I barely doubt crypto can help us overcome the unemployment in the country. At least not in our country where country’s finance minister is against the crypto currency usage within the country. Well I don't have much experience in this sector. Bitcoin is banned in our country. So creating an industry that runs with Bitcoin is a NO-NO. But if taken good measure to keep our privacy safe, individually we can do much more. As being a 3rd world country, with a little bit of effort, we can do much more with Bitcoin. Trading is a complicated process and not for everyone. But if we can create a long term plan for investment and just HODL. We can get a good profit which will help us build our on business or something. Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies are not in a position to solve unemployment en masse and i think it's early. The majority of people who know Bitcoin and deal with trading in crypto money markets are striving for their financial freedom. One of the social problems, unemployment is almost impossible for my country to solve with Bitcoin. Because people see Bitcoin as a means of rapid enrichment. If you are aiming to get rich quick for financial freedom you will hit the bottom. There are a lot of people around me who want to get rich fast and most of them suddenly lose their savings. In order to prevent mass unemployment it is necessary to add Bitcoin to the education curriculum.

Bitcoin lessons need to be given to children. Certainly this will not end unemployment but it will enable a conscious society to grow. New generations need to understand crypto markets early. But as i said before if you see these trainings as a gamble and aim for quick wealth, you will hit the bottom. I do not believe that Bitcoin will ever end unemployment definitively.
