Gambling brings so much joy especially when you're on the winning side, when things are all in your favor it just seems like you should never stop. But when it gets bad, you look for a way to pour out your anger, either on someone or on something.
When someone is addicted to gambling I feel it's worst than one who's addicted to drugs.

When gambling and you are winning, you are always being happy, whenever you lose then you shouldn't pour your anger on anyone, in gambling its either you win or you lose, whenever you are winning, then you should be expecting losing, so whenever you lose, you shouldn't be angry, it's a normal thing which is suppose to happen in gambling.

Generally I know addiction is really bad, but I don't know which one is better between gambling addiction and drugs because I don't do drugs and am not addicted to gambling, but in anything we are doing, we should always avoid being addicted, because it's always difficult to stop when addicted.

So much has been said about betting companies regarding how they should be responsible in helping those who are addicted to gambling, although is really hard to do so on there own path because gamblers can't be monitored.

Do you think gambling sites really cares about people that are addicted to gambling, they are running their business and the more people are addicted, the more money they will be making, even if gambling sites are trying to help people that are addicted to gambling, then they won't really be serious about it, because when addicted gamblers reduces, then it's going to affect them.

The answer here is what i can give to myself because i know it will work but I can't guarantee that it will also work for another person, when you want to quit gambling, it's a very easy thing to do provided that you're not an addicted gambler, all you just need is to delete every gambling apps and websites on your phone, clear the cookies and history, change your gambling enabling environment to where you can't have access to gambling, engage your money in doing business or invest them on profitable assets, if you're addicted already, then try to find a suitor that will replace your gambling addiction after taking these necessary steps above and get yourself busy doing something.

The influence is right, if you're being influenced by a gambler then you can't quit for sure. But if you're already addicted and someone still keeps on influencing you and you can't stop him, you better need to find yourself a new place to stay if you can't avoid those people that influences you to gamble.
Like now, there are a lot of sporting events that can easily be influenced by anyone so, you'll be having a hard time getting out of addiction if there are people that surround you to gamble.
So, if you do want to quit and to stop, you have to find ways and initiate things so that you're helping yourself to get out of it and you're also doing your part alone.

Forgetting something requires focusing on something more attached to another one.  So if one wants to quit gambling then he must focus on something else and spend time there then it is possible to quit gambling. But if a gambler spends free time then it is not possible for him to quit gambling. Quitting gambling is so difficult that no one can explain exactly how to quit gambling. Change your beliefs about gambling and put another task or habit to replace gambling.

Because all the battles happen in our own minds. If you really want to change, you have to change your self-belief. How bad is gambling in your life? How is it affecting your relationships and finance? Feed yourself with facts and use them as a new norm and a standard for your new self. Then replace gambling with something else. It could be sports like basketball or soccer. A task that will give you the same reward and adrenaline as how you gamble. With different action, you get the same reward and better benefits.

I have never been addicted to gambling even though I like and enjoy it. And I guess I have enough self-discipline that I'm confident in saying, I'm never going that road.

To those who are already addicted, I guess a group effort is somehow needed to get them out of it. It's hard to expect that gambling addicts themselves will initiate their own rehabilitation, so family, friends, loved ones, workmates, and whoever is around them, even the casinos themselves, should perhaps also take a little share of responsibility.

Aside from the effort to seek professional intervention, other seemingly small yet significant efforts like inviting the gambler to another hobby, or visiting him to take away some of his/her idle hours, or other efforts to simply distract him/her from gambling will definitely be of help.

We are glad to hear that. Many wishes us to be like that who can enjoy what they want but still has a control. I think people like that are happier in their lives. Not like to us that we need to permanently quit the activities that makes us addicted only to focus on the much important thing. Addiction to gambling can increase simply because of curiosity. Some gamblers become addicted simply out of curiosity about a particular game, but after that become addicted especially if they want to recover their losses. Gambling for fun is about those who gamble occasionally, they don't gamble all the time and may only spend a limited amount of money.

I'm obviously not sure about your last point because I think lot of gambling is just to make money. Entertainment is the second reason, while making money is the main goal.

That is a great advice for people facing a gambling addiction. Maybe addiction isn't even the cause, but a consequence of something else which is happening on the life of the gambler and impacting him negatively. It's not unsual to develop an addiction as an attempt to escape from boredom, loneliness or rejection. People find on the game, drugs and alcohol the relief for the pain felt on their routine.

If you are going to take this relief out of their lives, you have to immediately replace it by another activity. That is where sports enter in scene, like you mentioned above. Even a healthy company of a friend or affair can be efficient to disperse the urge for gambling.

I'm not a gambling addict, so I don't have any experience to stop gambling as I can control myself and put a limit. The problem of gambler can become an addict because they bet higher than they can afford to lose as they want to make money. There is no one-side-fits-all approach to stopping gambling. One of the things I always preach to my married friends who complain about being unable to do this is to have an honest conversation with their spouse. They need someone who is a non-gambler to hold them accountable. Their spouse would be perfect. In that conversation, they should discuss putting them in charge of their money. That is  their spouse should be in charge of their bank account and finances so that the second they receive any money it is not in their control. Usually, what you say happens to novice gamblers. they think that gambling can easily multiply money. and yes, that's true, unfortunately for some lucky rookie gamblers. conversely, newbie gamblers who lose, they will try to think "one more time, maybe this time we will win". but what happens, can only win or even experience successive defeats. and for beginners who win, they will be more addicted because they get money practically and quickly and in the end they don't realize that they are gradually becoming addicts, regardless of winning or losing in the gambling session.

So, isn't this also what we've experienced right? This is funny to me and don't you think those measures can easily  be reversed?
I don't think this your technique might even work for you because  the same apps you mentioned  wouldn't cost me nothing but just few megabytes to reinstall them and clearing the cache and history  only made room and space for me to adventure the gambling world more and also o don't think the VPN will work or getting a partner as well because you might still get a partner and still decide to hide your gambling habits from he or she  and hence one of the best ways to stay in check is having someone stay around you to keep you in check and also having periodic counseling session.
