Thanks to your post I had a look at the line-up and wow, Pep Guardiola is taking the word rotation seriously here.

I am not watching the game and I didn't check any odds, but this one I thought could be worth taking a risk and bet on Red Star Belgrade or not? I wasn't sure how much Guardiola would rotate here, but I thought he would do several changes. In the first game they had it took Manchester City quite some time to score, that's why I thought that with a lot of rotation this won't be any easier for Manchester City to play that game at the Red Star stadium.

can we say that Inter vs Real Sociedad was a truly disappointing match? The Spaniards played well but were more committed to making fouls than playing to win, while Inter were completely absent! I don't understand why Inzaghi made very questionable tactical choices such as keeping out Lautaro Martinez, Barella, Bastoni. It almost seems like he was content not to lose rather than try to win despite having already qualified with two rounds to spare. The other big European teams won't be so happy to find Inter as their opponent in the round of 16

Inter had already qualified, their target was to top the group with a win so it's not a do or die affairs. Inzaghi saw it as an opportunity to rotate his squad and give his players a much desired rest which is a good idea to me. Inter still had good players that should be able to win the match, especially because they were at home. Finishing second in the group is not a bad result, they'll most likely meet a bigger opponent but thwt deesn't mewn they cqbt win.

My guess is that Newcastle will win against AC Milan and Dortmund will end in a draw against PSG.

I saw the match in full and I can guarantee you that Inter took to the pitch only to not lose the match and not to win it, this was a match not to make mistakes because it could compromise their progress in the Champions League, finishing first in the standings it can give you the privilege of finding an easier opponent to face, being in the round of 16 and facing Real Madrid for example is not the same as facing Copenhagen. obviously it's a stupid example, if you want to win the Champions League you still have to eliminate the strongest teams but I found Inter's attitude last night annoying, I'm speaking as an Inter fan

Union Berlin have had very bad luck this season, they can't talk much in the UCL, even their fate is the same as in the Bundeliga, because they can't even secure full points. In the Bundesliga, Union can only record 3 wins from the 13 matches they have played, maybe it will take a lot of energy to make the club appear consistent like last season.

When you're on Gardiola's team your age and size doesn't matter, the maturity these young's boys are playing with on the pitch you would doubt if actually this is their first time European competition's appearance, they are giving an impressive performance with determination and skills putting City in the lead of this game by a 2 goals from Hamilton who's just having his debut with City and then second goal from Bobb. With this young lads amazing performance tonight one will be hopeful that the future of City is sure not just in the UCL but also in their domestic EPL league competition.

In fact, Pep did not play his starting eleven in this match. We can see that Pep rotated several of his players even though Jack Grealish was still played as a starter. with the scenario, Grealish will be more reliable and at the same time become a mentor to the young players who Pep has made the main starter. Oscar Bobb is played as a center forward, he is a young City player. Likewise with Micah Hamilton, a young player who is 20 years old. Grealish was withdrawn to be replaced by Foden in the early minutes of the second half. Kocavic, was replaced by Susoho, an 18 year old young player.

So, only established players remain in the defense line. but not with Rico Lewis, Pep often rotates this young player according to his wishes. which means, Pep doesn't care about the match and I agree with you. Pep prefers to reserve several of his core players to save energy.
Uniquely, this match became even more exciting because many goals were scored. and as you say, there are more interesting matches that the Champions League has to offer in the matches after this. especially, for the group E phase match which will present an exciting battle. there are no other words, other than we wait and watch.

I didn't check Manchester City's lineup before placing my bet because I didn't know if Guardiola would use his young players simply because they qualified from the group stage either win or lose, Manchester City has won all of its group stage games. However, I was surprised by how well the young players of Manchester City performed against Red Star Belgrade. Hamilton's amazing first goal for Man City gave them the lead from the start of the match, and the match end up 2:3. I didn't look at Manchester City's lineup before placing my bet because when i later checked saw that their odds kept going higher. PSG really dream of winning the Champions League. But they couldn't do it once, even when Messi and Neymar played in the team. Now PSG has not many chances to become champions, competition among top clubs. Manchester City, Bayern, Real Madrid have a better chance.
