Ethereum is one of the most likely favorite altcoin for some long-term investors. They have had great returns on this investment despite the fact that ETH is no better than bitcoin in many ways. You can expect Ethereum to give you great returns in the long term as the price of ETH also fluctuates as the value of bitcoin increases. But if I may suggest you, then don't ignore bitcoin in your investment portfolio although Ethereum is also good for long term investment.

It's more of a strategy I employ, selling some of what I have and just taking my capital and only profits are left.
Everyone has their own strategy. Maybe not suitable for you, but we will not hold back for life, there must be a profit taken. I still hold my ETH holdings and I don't take all of them. We must have a reserve of Fiat to buy again when the market crashes. It's not funny when a market crashes with no Fiat to spend. Remember that someone's strategy will be different from yours.
