They are or they aren't? It's a little annoying that any whiff of bad news whether true or not can have this much affect on the price. I wonder if we'll ever truly get over this volatility.

Definitely. Not only China, but probably Russia also. Let them ban BTC. It will not affect the growth of Bitcoin.
