What is Web3?
Web 3.0, also known as Web3, is the third generation of the World Wide Web. Web 3.0 is meant to be decentralized, open to everyone (with a bottom-up design), and built on top of blockchain technologies and developments in the Semantic Web, which describes the web as a network of meaningfully linked data.

Web3 gives you ownership of your digital assets in an unprecedented way. For example, say you're playing a web2 game. If you purchase an in-game item, it is tied directly to your account. If the game creators delete your account, you will lose these items. Or, if you stop playing the game, you lose the value you invested into your in-game items.

Web3 allows for direct ownership through non-fungible tokens (NFTs). No one, not even the game's creators, has the power to take away your ownership. And, if you stop playing, you can sell or trade your in-game items on open markets and recoup their value.

Core ideas of Web3
Below are the core ideas of wev3

1.Web3 is decentralized: instead of large swathes of the internet controlled and owned by centralized entities, ownership gets distributed amongst its builders and users.
2.Web3 is permissionless: everyone has equal access to participate in Web3, and no one gets excluded.
3.Web3 has native payments: it uses cryptocurrency for spending and sending money online instead of relying on the outdated infrastructure of banks and payment processors.
4.Web3 is trustless: it operates using incentives and economic mechanisms instead of relying on trusted third-parties.

How do I get into Web3?
There are various ways to gain Web3 skills, as mentioned in the section below.

1.Follow seasoned blockchain and crypto influencers on Twitter
2.Subscribe to crypto newsletters and YouTube channels
3.Join a Web3 developer DAO or a Discord server
4.Enroll in Web3 developer or blockchain-related courses

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

Disadvantages of Web3
Requires advanced equipment.
Processing speed is slow in many cases.
Not yet widely adopted, leading to many users unfamiliar with blockchain.
Data on the blockchain is difficult to erase, leading to a backlog of junk data.
Complex functionality for new users.
