Honestly I expected to see at least odds of 1.30 in this game, I know that Leverkusen is a big team, and a team that hasn't lost in any game in the league yet, and a team that is very close to becoming champion. but the bundesliga 2. but Dusseldorf is not a very weak team, despite playing in the bundesliga 2, they have been a team with good results in the bundesliga 2, they are currently in position number 3 and still have a chance of being promoted to the bundesliga. That's why in my opinion this game should have at least odds of 1.30 or more

I made my selection of teams for my multibet bet and placed this game, even with this current odds of 1.17, it is low odds but as my muitibet bet has many teams so the odds value became high, but it could have been higher if odds in favor of Leverkusen were 1.30. These cup games always make me cautious, because I've seen good teams being eliminated with weak teams in cup games.

my guess is that leverkusen will win this game and with that they will find another weak opponent in the final, which in position 16 in bundesliga 2, leverkusen has a good chance of winning this season: bundesliga and DFB Cup and the european league

Congrats to Kaiserslautern on reaching the final phase! However I'm afraid this is most probably the end of the road for them.    It is still a great achievement to reach this phase though.

Today Leverkusen will finish off Dusseldorf as long as we don't come across a huge surprise. Xabi Alonso is hungry for titles this season which is obvious. I don't expect a big rotation here even though they have a Bundesliga match in a couple of days. They are already comfortable there. I'm just expecting Leverkusen to reach final and win the DFB Pokal trophy after that. I already see 2 trophies in hand for Xabi Alonso together with the Bundesliga one. 

After a long journey this season Kaiserslautern has been able to reach the final, currently they are just waiting for the winner between Leverkusen and Dusseldorf to be their opponent in the final later, this season is indeed quite surprising for us when we see many Bundesliga teams who actually have to fall quickly and only leave Leverkusen so far in the semifinals with 3 team teams bundesliga 2,  I think in today's match we will all certainly favour Leverkusen as the winner to reach the final.

Kaiserslautern, who has performed quite poorly in the league this season but can be quite consistent in the dfb pokal, no one even expected that Kaiserslautern, who is in the relegation zone of the bundesliga 2, was actually able to reach the finals this season, I think maybe their journey will not end happily when they have to face Leverkusen, which is currently unbeaten in the league,  In addition, even if it is possible that Leverkusen fails to beat Dusseldorf in the semi-finals, of course Dusseldorf will still be a difficult opponent to beat by Kaiserslautern, so I think at this time Kaiserslautern is between two big rocks that will indeed be ready to destroy Kaiserslautern in the final.

Well, it was the expected dominance they have shown all season..
For some reason I thought there might be a tiny chance for DD but this was out of the window real quick.

So not only can they now win their first German championship but also the first "double". Those 2 are pretty much set in stone I would say.
Actually I just remembered they are also still in the Europa league, haha. So the triple is still in play, wow. Facing West Ham in the quarter finals seems more than doable as well.

Hopefully this team for the most part stays together, Alonso stating he will stay is already a first big step towards that.

i am absolutely sure that leverkusen will win the dfb cup and maybe win the third cup this year. the final in berlin will take place on 25 may.
but on 22 may there is also the final of the europa league in the Dublin Arena in the Republic of Ireland. maybe leverkusen can still win both cups.
then leverkusen would have won 3 cups this season. nobody would have expected that before the season !

I do not think anyone expected the progress so far. After Xabi Alonso started at Leverkusen, they were at place 17 in the table. At the end of that season they were at place 6 and that was already a great achievement. This season, however, they have shown right from the start that they want and can do more. Xabi and the whole team have done a really great job. But they are still hungry for much more.

Since Leverkusen's "invincible streak" has come to an end after losing to Bergamo some days ago there might be a glimmer of hope for kaiserlautern that the German champs are getting nervous. Of course their chances are still tiny but imagine the game staying close until the like 70h minute or something, and then suddenly Kaiserlautern is running a counter attack and score. What fun would that be huh!

But in reality it might so happen that Leverkusen scores twice in the first 20min and the game is over early. Anything is possible but after this week in my opinion the chances for Kaiserslautern have gone from 5% to 10%.
