The point is, yes, we should not force anyone to learn it as, you are totally right, when your tell someone only the green gardens and positive side of something, some of them become skeptical and they begin to thought that you are trying to lure them into this scam. The idea is why parents, guardians of whom understand the importance of a decentralized system and have been able to make living or earn a living from it, teach it.

I also tried to teach about Bitcoin to my Sister and she is a lucky girl because I told him with proper explaination and it's advantages and disadvantages too. And I think teaching others is a good idea but first we should teach our families, then our friends and others. But we must explain then how volatile it is and we have to share how scammers are stealing funds. Because we should also learn how we can be safe in crypto from scammers.

I disagree on this kind of teaching. Why you will emphasize the risk side over its benefits while you are introducing Bitcoin to newbie. You are scaring them instead of converting them to investors since no one will invest on risky assets most importantly that you are keep emphasizing it to him as a big deal.

Risk is just introduced as disclaimer but you should focus on the positive side since Bitcoin has a lot of pros over cons. Bitcoins is just volatile which can be easily solved by just holding strong. If the newbie is interested on Bitcoin then we need to introduce Bitcoin gently so that they will not discourage. Just remind them the disclaimer. That's a good explanation, but mostly of the people who's playing safe for their sake since they've introduced Bitcoin to others so if something might happened like losing funds they might get blamed which is not literally his/her fault. That's why they introduced it by giving them the basic knowledge of the Bitcoin's pros and cons since it's volatile and have a risk involved.

On like the content, I appreciate the energy you took to get this message out. I understand that some has got the passion to teach and also, feels the need to have progressive friends and neighbors around them. It doesn’t mean they are good people but, just the way they like to live life.

There is nothing wrong with having to teach to people what they need know but forcing something on them, that’s just something you can’t do, shouldn’t do and can not archive successfully. Absolutely true. I wouldn't find it strange if they even become downright upset with the individual. Bitcoin enthusiast has to be high on emotional intelligence. As soon as you read the room and notice that the individual isn't interested in the subject of bitcoin or cryptocurrency kindly change the subject matter to something they would enjoy talking about. My experience of telling Bitcoin use case is that it is able to send money instantly. Specifically in my country, if we want to send money abroad, it's expensive and outrageously very slow. A tedious amount of time are required for the receiver to use/get the money. Correct, If you teach someone about Bitcoin and try to overdoing it if you got no interest, it may raise suspicion for the other person and they might doubt that you are trying to scam them or something. I believe the best approach is to start by teaching them the basics of Bitcoin and then discuss both the negative and positive aspects. If they show no interest, your last option is to provide proof of how you are earning Bitcoin and making profits through trading or any other Bitcoin related business, If you feel that they don't want to then you better stop and just move on.

To be honest, I have a couple of friends in real life who heard about Bitcoin from me but I never insisted that they should get into it. Yeah, your story convinced me to share mine. Today, i was on call with my friend, he lives in another city, as he shares his story that his friend (X) ask me to teach him the skill i have (which is dropshopping) and then i thought i should ask him (X) to teach me his (X) skills which was related to some affiliate work, well his friend (X) denied that he can not teach him the skill because of some promises and idk what's the main reason behind it, well then my friend said then i have to charge you for teaching you dropshopping, he (X) said ok i am fine.

The point is all, my friend asked his friend a skill in exchange of a skill. Which would be a better deal if completed well coming to the point, i also want to learn that skill and i asked my friend that i will tell you how i earn money by my skills and you have to teach me your skills to earn money, then he replied ok, i am already eager to learn crypto.

This is true, I have no problems with people that just want to contribute and teach bitcoin even to the young ones. As long as those people they're teaching and sharing knowledge that they have about Bitcoin are showing interest, that's much better. Whenever I introduce my friends or family members to bitcoin, I don’t force them to invest in bitcoin, it’s a choice if they are interested, they should invest and if they are not interested, they should leave it, anybody investing is doing that at their own risk. Well, I just don't know the reason why we need to force people to learn Bitcoin? Traditional schools aren't forcing their pupils to teach something. I've been in this situation before. I once introduced crypto to my boss and was flatly rejected. This is to show that people usually just believe in someone when they saw good results already. The show of interest really matters because knowledge of something can't be forced on  anyone even if you want to make a clear statement on how positive the thing might be of good to the person. I sure agree with the op, and amongst all the options listed, I think it is option two for me, one time I've found myself explaining bitcoin to a friend of mine in such a manner I myself would not believe him if it was the other way round.

Agree, you are one of the rare people I see on this forum that doesn't consider bitcoin an investment, you always propagate it as a currency like what Satoshi created bitcoin. But honestly, what you do is mission impossible, and I don't think you will succeed because nowadays, everyone is focused on profit and money. If bitcoin wasn't volatile, not profitable, I don't think many people would need it. I don't think it is ideal for forcing anything, even if it isn't Bitcoin, I have held a section on air, and the problem I noticed is that the majority of people have a misconception about Bitcoin because most things online are scams, people also have the same mindset about bitcoin, especially our parents, but making them understand is not a bad idea at all, but I learned something about does that are interested in bitcoin, I tell them to do their own research before they start blaming you for their loss, and another thing is that if you're talking about bitcoin and the individual isn't interested, it's better to let them be.

In your first paragraph, I will like to remind you that there is no limit to richness and in fact, rich people already know the importance of being rich and therefore want to acquire more wealth in order to remain being rich. Well is normal for us to feel excited to share something we'd just learned. Which I relate, in my case I just told my parents that I am currently into crypto or Bitcoin then they suddenly thought I'm having a big amount of money. I'd just tell them it's not easy to earn that big in just a few days but they think I'm lying cause me to not having an allowance cuz they thought I could already make my own money. But this were I was a student, it's not that easy to do both studies in college and crypto.

There are some conditions that could actually allow for this.
When they say they are not interested, there are actually several versions in my opinion because it could be that this kind of disinterest is because they are still unfamiliar with bitcoin, or they could still be provoked by some wrong news and the last one is that they are not interested in it even though they already know.

I honestly think that people who are into teaching Bitcoin have an ulterior motive to benefit from their actions.  Like for example, some wallet app is declaring some island in the Philippines to be a Bitcoin Island, promoting Bitcoin to different merchant and using their wallet application as the tool for such transaction.  With this example, we can say that people who have something to gain with Bitcoin being popular will surely promote and introduce Bitcoin but those who don't have any benefits will just ignore it since there is nothing on it that will benefit them.

We can earn some money to buy bitcoin, but when the price rises, our bitcoins rise in price, this is what brings us income. It's so simple, despite the clamour for mass adoption bitcoin isn't for everyone and this impression should be a reality that forges us all to focus on the few community of those that are interested and want to learn and gain from it. The tricky parts of teaching Bitcoin, or any idea for that matter, are wrapped up in the question: Can you really get someone who isnt interested to be curious? I think that's just their reason, if they are really interested in bitcoin, really want to find solutions to improve their finances, they can learn everything themselves without anyone teaching them. I think that's just their reason, if they are really interested in bitcoin, really want to find solutions to improve their finances, they can learn everything themselves without anyone teaching them. As for me, I research everything myself and learn from google, youtube and forums...no one teaches me, tells me about bitcoin or what I need to do...We are in an era where all information and knowledge can be easily found on the internet as long as we work hard. Don't give them a reason that just because no one taught them, they can't invest in bitcoin.

Well you are actually right, i also like the quote of "do your own research" because it's up to you and its your responsible for every decision you make, plus the fact that you could search everything in the internet nowadays. But we can't totally trust the internet nowadays now that Bitcoin existence for a long time, for sure there's a lot of false information, scams, hackers and etc. That you would have to face, even cents bad people won't hesitate to steal it from you. It's normal to feel scared in something you lack knowledge with, especially when it's money involved that we were talking about. They just need to find a reliable sources that they can trust or use, for example here in the forum, you could search existing thread from years that can still help these days. Still they need to do this on their own and experience it on their own, because it's up to their calls wether they profit or not.

this is why we should not force someone to learn the world of crypto. let them go into this market on their own accord and time. but if they are interested to learn more, they will be the one who will find ways how to enrich their knowledge on this market. also, they will know the risks involve as they won't stake their money without doing their own due diligence.

Is it even possible to force a grown-up adult to learn something that can better their lives? Inasmuch as I don't see the possibility,  I do not also consider it necessary.  Knowledge is important and personal, and anyone sacrificing his time and energy to pass Knowledge to others should be appreciated. In response to your point that pressure doesnt work, it brings up an interesting problem. No one can be forced to learn something they dont want to, but the draw of money can sometimes change people's minds. There is a fine line between promoting the benefits of Bitcoin and letting the possible learner make their own decisions.

Trying to force some to learn something especially Bitcoin is like investing on something you know won't produce anything positive, the best thing is to let them to choose if they want to learn or not.
Money is one huge factor that can not only change people's mind but the behavior of humans too, when someone who knows nothing about Bitcoin get to know that it can yield a lot of money it can make that person to do whatever it takes to get money to invest as long as it will bring x3 of his investment, he can steal to give it a try (that's where money can change the behavior of some humans), but he has no idea of what he's getting into.

i agree totally with what you said, due to the recent re- occurring activities that has happened in the crypto space,  most people are afraid of investing their money in crypto currency, as i do tell people don't invest in something you don't understand, i always say study, learn, network with people that are doing well, pay for their class and learn, i don't force   anyone to learn BITCOIN, when they see proof in your, they'll beg you to teach them.

Many people are afraid to invest on bitcoin because it is new to them so they need proper orientation or education on bitcoin for them. Others are afraid because if scammers. Yes it is not by force but people want to learn and no more but no one to teach and show them the road. I have met several people and I explained bitcoin to and most of them complaining that nobody has told them what I explained to them and that is why they have not invested in it.

I know that self-study will be very difficult and I will encounter the problems you mentioned in the process of learning everything about bitcoin. But I think those are the experiences we should go through if we really want to develop and make money in this market. If we don't dare to face even those things, how can we survive long in this market? Nothing is easy and neither is this market, the more we collide and fall, the more mature we become. I've also been cheated and failed many times, but I consider it a lesson and experience and don't see anything to be sad about. Without those lessons, I would not be able to achieve the achievements I have today.
