But I dont get why tron is so popular.
It is the most expensive network to use...

not sure where you go this.. its the cheapest. ETH has fucking crazy fees.

Ethereum changed lot since it migrate to pos. It is cheap again.

Look
https://etherscan.io/gastracker

It is almost as cheap as BSC network.
And polygon (and other L2) are basically free

Ethereum now has one of the lowest transaction fees, with 0.007 USD right now.
Binance chain, Ton and Tron network all have higher transaction fees in 2026, and I think only Solana chain has lower fees.

https://gasfeesnow.com/

That's interesting, I knew that ETH fees have been decreasing disastrously but never knew that it went so low that other chains are looking to be expensive against the ETH blockchain. However, Bitcoin still has a higher transaction fee than ETH  Wink

One of the reasons why many people do not use ETH for gambling or other purposes is that they still think that ETH will cost them a lot of transaction fees. They aren't aware of the new upgrades on Ethereum that have made it one of the cheapest blockchains.

I got angry and left Ethereum investment because of their crazy transaction fee. And since then I have not used their network so I don't know their network charges again. When I saw virasog comment that bitcoin fee is higher than ether, I was like wow! That is nice. That means making transaction with it now will not make someone be afraid. Because of it high fee, people used other cheaper networks.

we are talking about Tether here... yes? this whole convo was about "dewez plz add stablecoin omg you're so sxy"..
ETH fees got cheaper, but TRON USDT fees are MUCH cheaper than USDT on ETH fees.

Tether ETH   ~$0.30–$3
Tether TRON   ~$0.01–$0.10

prove me wrong.

yes you are right (right now). but Tether ETH fees swings all the time, and can get to $2-4. when it comes to Tether TRON i was using staked prices. which 50% of people have.
honestly, the other issue with ETH is running the node, its not fun to say the least.

Tether TRON is used more, so we're going with that.

I understand the reasons. I didnt know ethereum node was so complicated to setup.

But USDT erc-20 is still the largest one in term of reserves .

Maybe you consider it in a next update. Or a cheap L2 option like polygon

Yeah, the man is free to do his thing 😂 for me, I am neither touching USDT on tron or ethereum, I will start making my own deposits on L0tt0 the year he decides to add support for maybe USDT on BSC or TON or SOL, this are the cheapest for me..

Tron is the worst blockchain I've ever come across and used ever since I got into crypto, I remember one time I spent over $20 worth of TRX  to sell a token worth around $32 at the time, that experience made me furious, I immediately sold all the TRX  I held at the time and made a personal decision never to have any thing to do with Tron or TRX again in my life.
When it comes to ethereum and Tron, I still prefer ethereum but the only issue I have with ethereum is that fees here aren't stable, it's cool today but any slight congestion on the network, every thing will fly high above the sky..

And I am actually wondering what  exactly it takes to add USDT on atleast 3 or 4 different networks, and let users choose which network is most suitable for them to use.. 🤔

we are talking about Tether here... yes? this whole convo was about "dewez plz add stablecoin omg you're so sxy"..
ETH fees got cheaper, but TRON USDT fees are MUCH cheaper than USDT on ETH fees.

Tether ETH   ~$0.30–$3
Tether TRON   ~$0.01–$0.10

prove me wrong.
dewet dude, are you wearing your glasses or you just dont want to look?  Roll Eyes
I posted the proof for transaction fees and you can see obvious fees for tron chain is the most expensive from all.
And I am sure USDT is not used more on tron than on ethereum, but you can do your own thing.

yeah yeah yeah...

Solana is coming soon- we can chat about stablecoins after.

Yeah, the man is free to do his thing 😂

I agree. And supporting one more coin is positive, although it is a coin I will probably never use.
He has his reasons for supporting tron (he is staking, one reason)

Also, supporting USDT in one chain will open doors to another blockchains. He is already talking about solana, so we might see USDT solana sooner than expected.
