Well, you can't really have a specific selling target for the coins and tokens that you hold in a bull run because you never know when is the peak and it's going to stop there and will come down from there, just like what happened in the previous bull run, a lot of people bought Bitcoin at $69k expecting it to go up even more but what happened was devastating for them, it dipped and the rest is history.

So the best practice is probably to take profit from all the assets that you are holding when you see the market getting a bit stable during the bull run, if you are satisfied with the profits at that moment, it's better to just sell them or at least most of them and hold only a portion from each so that if the price goes further up, you can get more profits and if it doesn't, you can sell the remaining later on.

If you care about security then I will tell you to invest in Bitcoin because Bitcoin is the most secure place for long term investment. Very fast! if the bullrun comes Altcoin will experience bullish and always increase in every correction,
so if you lose the moment to buy Altcoin like at a bearish time like now then it will be a regret,

However, you should be prepared for what's coming, and get ready for any dump that happen after that, just have thought of small loss and some profits to avoid disappointment. Though, what you gain depends on what type of coin you have,I expect you to do your own research and buy any coin of your choice and hold, if you are lucky to buy traders favorite, you will make money like you have never seen before.

I think it depends on the altcoins, because there are altcoins that didn't pump during bull season,most of them are altcoins that being left behind by thier developer during bear season and turn into a shit coin,i have a lot of them in my wallet until now no value and no update no development at all,so the best strategy i think is to buy altcoins like bnb,eth,matic,ftm,etc.,this coins are proven and tested it will always follow btc bull trend there is a lot more on CMC search them all and select whats best for you.

IMO, to get ready to take profits when altcoins pump fast, investors should set a take profit and a stop loss price before investing. Yes you rightly made a point. The altcoin you are holding in preparation for the bull run is very important. IMO, I will recommend holding tight to some notable and reputable altcoins like Etherum, and the likes. On the new projects, I suggest caring out detailed research before holding on any of them. While Bitcoin will influnce most of the altcoins, I think it is difficult to determine how fast the altcoins will pump. It all depends on numerous factors - ranging from utility, community followership, etc. I think, the upcoming bull run may spring up surprises in the crypto space. The meme coins inclusive.

I think we should ask ourselves the following questions in preparation for the bull run:
I am I holding the best reputable altcoins based on my research?
Have I researched on the new altcoins  I am holding?
When do I sell to maximize profit during the bull market (best ATH)?

All Altcoin prices are down a lot at the moment.When the bull season starts, you will see the prices of all these altcoins going up. When capital comes into altcoin, you will see altcoin prices run away.I think strategy should be made in advance to get profit. Last bull run literally buy any coin then even 3days or a weke you already earn massive 50% and more gains even not using technical during that time is really possible. That's a good strategy but it's only for people who have sold their crypto currency assets in 2021,
because 2021 altcoins are really flying crazy, and people who are lucky to be able to sell them in that year of course in this year the profits have also been very much,
