How quick do altcoins pump in bull run?

2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.

Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?

For every bull season or bull run; there is usually a new trend all the time which means that previous project would die and fade away and only a few of existing platforms get a chance to experience that bull run/change. To prepare for the next bull run i would encourage you to look into products with real value chain, such as bitcoin, ethereum, bnb, polygon, avax and many more as your bias prefers.

NOTE: Every time is a good time to take profit, the question is; what do you call profit? what do you refer to as profit?

agreed with your point having target first gonna help tremendously when we are in bullruns. considering the fact that many times the bullrun will just suddenly ends like that
in which make many people feeling that they just missed opportunity of selling because they are holding and being greedy for too long they don't sell their investment which supposed to be massive profit
at the bullrun, there has been many cases like that in which make many feeling regrets for being too greedy.
but if someone have the strategy and target price beforehand they could easily just sell it when it reaches, make compromises even, and then they're set and already in profits.

Well, this is where the big difference is when investing in BTC. don't have to wait long. if investing in Alcoin increases in turns and not all at once. Yes, as you said above, it also requires a deadline, like for example ETH goes up first and then BNB goes up,  Next to SOL or Matic and ADA. That's what I noticed a year or two ago.

That's why investors shall be patience waiting for that moment to come. The problem is so many people gonna ask when pump for altcoin gonna happen while this will happen after bitcoin stabilize its price.

It will take time and because altcoins run on hype and not actually good development the coins that have been there have remained down in the dumps for years. In the bull market almost every coin shows a rise in price but they equally drop when the bear market starts. The lack of faith and community backing of altcoins is big and they can only do this much for now, so better not to think about them but buy the ones that you find useful for future and buy them in small amounts when the price is low and accept that it is a loss.

if we look at previous chart altcoin season will comes after bitcoin bullish season. now, when bitcoin bullish phase start ? if i see chart from 2013 it will come after 7-9 halving. which swill happen next year around October 2024. it will take one year for bitcoin to break its All Time High then it going correction. in the correction phase of bitcoin the alt coin starting to rally for only half year or 3 month then. it is around October 2025 until December 2025 or maybe February 2026

My opinion, of course, is true, during the bullish phase, altcoins may experience rapid price spikes but what needs to be underlined for potential profits is never a 100% guarantee of winning. That is certain if investing in crypto assets is less than the initial entry value unless he is tough, patient and not as greedy as you say.

Maybe this year not possible for bull run but for the crypto market we couldn’t talking surely because anytime can back bull market. If some millions investors will coming continue then is possible. You can buy some altcoins even if bull market will not come this year last then sold on. I agree with you that the past does not determine the future. All I said was my assumption that if the market goes bull run, many of the top altcoins will go up as well, and maybe update their ATHs. I can't predict exactly when that will happen right now. Many are sure it will be in 24/25, but what if the market fools everyone and it happens in 29/30? You have to be prepared for that too, you are right, but not everyone will psychologically be able to sit around with big losses, lose time and no income for that long. Many will panic and sell their coins at a big discount because they were not prepared for such a scenario.

I wish you success on your first bull run. Stay enthusiastic and patient in waiting for the coin price to soar to the moon. Not much was done in preparing for this. All we need to do is find information until the price of what estimated coin we hold. Don't forget to make a target price for the oin that we will sell. Don't let us be greedy to get more benefits. Because greed can keep us from getting anything. Because we keep waiting n hope the price goes up, but what we find is that the price has started to fall.

I would say not immediately when the bull season began. Only few top alts mostly pump alongside btc from the beginning, rest of the alts usually takes a bit of time before joining the bull party. But you know every circle comes with a different twist, this period will be very different because of these layer2 and Web3 projects we have currently in the market who haven't experience any bull season.
I wouldn't be investing heavily on alts just yet.

i agreed with your statements, bullrun usually short lasted meanwhile bearish long lasted, its foolish decision to not sell the coin invested at bullrun because we just literally missed opportunity of accumulating in the next cycle which I think that would be massive opportunity missed, since usually such accumulation could give multiple folds of returns.

There is no such thing as peak bull times. If you see the price has doubled or tripled I think it's a good time to sell your asset. There is no exact theory about it. But I believe next year we will enter the bull season.
