A license will always help for the credibility of a project; we have seen sites with licenses that still become a scam but having a license is always a benefit. Having a license is good but having no license is not bad as well.
Back to the early stage of this bitcoin gambling industry, most bitcoin casinos has no license but many of them can prove that they are reliable.
