And what's remarkable is that Aston Villa won this match away from home. I don't know why Chelsea performed like this, and I'm quite disappointed. But I admire Aston Villa performance; they're performing even better than last season. I think they have a chance to compete for the title if they can maintain this momentum. Honestly this is another game of 2 halves, for those who watched the match will definitely know what I’m talking about. Chelsea dominated this game in the first half, they passed and fought for every ball like they were challenging for the title but then in the second half I honestly can’t say where they went wrong. I think in that first half Chelsea should have scored more or when they came back in that second half they should have buried the match with another goal but instead they allow Aston Villa got back in the game.

It was an interesting game and it just surprising how Aston villa is going on this much streak without losing or even drawing a game. They started the season very poorly and they look like they would be battling their way out of the relegation zone but now they are in 3rd place challenging for the premier league.

I think it will all be decided in the next round on Tuesday. Arsenal at home should get revenge for that last-second defeat in Birmingham. Of course, I wish Unai Emery’s team good luck in this match, but every winning streak comes to an end sooner or later.

Since last season, this Aston villa team is growing wing and they seem to be up for something great this season. To be honest, I wasn't surprised by their victory against Chelsea yesterday. Football is unpredictable most of the time but if you're familiar with these two teams and analyse their pattern of play and considering their current form, you can easily predict Aston villa victory yesterday. Chelsea is currently overhyped, Aston villa is not joking, they have beaten Manchester city, Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal this season and add Chelsea to their list yesterday. They're a strong team against Arsenal on a norms and I don't see anything changing at Emirates stadium on Wednesday. The highest Arsenal can get is draw, they can't beat Aston villa currently.

Aston Villa victory at Stamford Bridge was due to Unay Emery's ingenuity. He immediately moved quickly to overhaul his strategy after being 1-0 down in the first half. The substitution allowed Aston Villa to dominate the match in the second half and successfully stage a comeback after Ollie Watkins scored in the 63rd and 84th minutes. Aston Villa have now won 11 games in a row in all competitions and the extra 3 points at Stamford Bridge keeps them in the title race, currently they are only 3 points behind leaders Arsenal.

The victory over Chelsea further completes the positive results when facing big teams, previously they had beaten Arsenal, Man City, Man United and Tottenham, if Unay Emery can maintain his team's performance like this, it is not impossible that Aston Villa will win the EPL trophy like Claudio Ranieri once did with Leicester City.

I thought their resistance only happen when they play at Villa Park but unfortunately it doesn't stop there because they had demonstrated it at Stamford Bridge by beating Chelsea in front of their fans.

I like the Way Aston Villa are playing, but why am still having doubt is what happened last season, they did very well but they could not withstand the pressure to the end of this season, and now they are back again this season with such an excellent performance, I will said it's too early to decide for them but let's see how it goes and see who win the league.

I wonder what the point is of a team making many signings and not fighting for the title, and being overtaken by Aston Villa who didn't make the same high level of signings. It’s laughable how they spent so much in transfer signings but didn’t think to get a world class striker like Victor Osimhen to strengthen their attack. IMO this ideology that the sporting directors have about building a team of young players is not helping the progress of the club.

Victor Osimhen has been performing well every season for Galatasaray and there were rumours in the last transfer window that Chelsea could sign Victor Osimhen but the deal never materialised and Chelsea are feeling the absence of Victor Osimhen in every match. Chelsea's current weakness is their lack of finishing. It is not certain that they will qualify for the Champions League next season in the current position but they need to do better and they need to be consistent in their performances after securing a place in the top 1 to 4 of the points table quickly otherwise they will not be able to secure this position towards the end.

Today Liverpool weren't convincing enough. Not even a clean sheet and struggled quite much to keep the advantage on themselves. Wolves had an xG over 1.00 but wasted their chances.

My friend Liverpool don’t need to be convincing enough what they need is to win their matches, they desperately need all three points and they got it that is all that matters. Liverpool are trying and they’re improving even if they’re grinding it out and today Florian Wirtz got on the scoresheet that’s a plus for them.
Right now they’re sitting pretty at 4th no matter the outcome of Chelsea game and even now the Chelsea you praised and cheered is playing a draw and might even lose.
Arsenal performed well today and they are giving champions vibe I wish they succeed.

Actually Liverpool’s squad is very good but they don't play as a team this season. They have great power, normally they shouldn't be 10 points behind the top. If Wirtz played like this from the start and Salah didn't have problems, Liverpool would be in the title race right now.
I’m very happy for Florian Wirtz's first goal in Liverpool. He is a huge talent. found his first goal a bit late but he is adapting slowly. Also Ekitike is getting his confidence back.

Emery seems understand Chelsea's pattern. He really analyze Chelsea's weakness, and did execution during the 2nd half. it can be seen by how Chelsea dominated first half, but totally outplayed by his club at 2nd half. That's why his team deserves the win. Things better for his club since Chelsea used garbage CB against his club. It gives his club so many loopholes to strike back until they make it comeback. Aston villa is strong and good I don't argue with you about that but they are not the most difficult team to win in the premier league the thing is that they have been privileged and lucky to be winning and this is still their time and they should make good use of it while it last and against Manchester united they didn't play anything that make them deserve the win but they won that is why I said they are lucky and it's their time and period. Aston villa has won arsenal this season but I doubt there returning leg and even though Arsenal win them, it doesn't mean Arsenal will win the league for sure.

Sunderland 1 vs Leeds 1
This is a match I expected Sunderland to win to consolidate on their position in the table, but they couldn't sustain their first half lead against Leeds that are famous for beating big teams and falling for small teams. Leeds is not too strong at away but when they play home, they are ruthless and voracious which was how they destroyed so many notable clubs including Chelsea. They have demonstrated their stubbornness once again by securing a draw from Sunderland that is seen to be relatively tougher than them when you combine home advantage.
