While I agree that Carrick definitely looks like he is doing great, specially compared to Amorim, I think he created a big trouble for himself. Normally this team isn't this good, and they won the first three games, so Carrick is seen as a great manager who will do wonderfully.

However, there is a reason why all the past managers did badly with this team, and one day Carrick will realize that, and team will start to do not so great. When that day comes and when they do that badly, we are going to see how they end up hating Carrick as well. I wouldn't say that Amorim is a bad coach, but I think the board needs to understand that Manchester United is rebuilding and they should realize that it's a process, so sacking coach after coach will not help the team. Like I said Carrick has started well and has shown signs that he can handle the job, what the board should do it to give him time and hopefully he might come out good.

The thing is that Ruben Amorim shaped this Manchester united squad Carrick is benefiting from, how to manage the aged Casemiro to his strength, less injuries for Luke Shaw and Harry Maguire has improved drastically under him. Bruno Fernandes a lot discipline now and the entire defensive sharpness of the squad has improved, it is thank you to Ruben Amorim and Manchester United fans do not give him his praises. The signings he made are all good but he was just too stubborn. Manchester United management are greedy,  a Casemiro being injured will hurt Manchester United because they failed to sign a midfielder which Ruben Amorim demanded, the main reason for his sack

 If you say Carrick is benefiting from the signings that Ruben Amorim made before getting sacked I would have agreed with you. But i don't totally agree with what you said about Ruben Amorim shaping man U squad to the benefit of Carrick .
  Am saying this  because,  it is one step to have good players but it's a much better step to know how to better manage them.
 To me, Amorim bought good players for Man U  but he lacked that ability to manage them properly. He couldn't bring out the best in them. And that's why the results where not as best as it should have been. With Amorim, Man U lost to big teams and even small teams.

 On the contrary, Carrick knew how to manage the players properly and that's why if you watch man U game now , you can see that the players are playing with so much zeal and confidence. They are playing more as a unified Man U team than they did with Ruben Amorim.
  With Amorim, Man U couldn't compete with big teams. They even lost important competitions to mid teams. But with Carrick, they are back at winning both top teams and mid teams.
  Infact, am so confident that Man U under Carrick can beat any top club in Europe including  Barca , Madrid and Bayern.

It is still early to make sure about Carrick to be the one for Manchester United. But this is definitely a marvelous start by him! He beat Arsenal and Manchester City in 9 days. Now it is a 3-win streak with the Fulham one...

Carrick needs to keep winning as much as possible. If he manages to keep the team in top 4 by the end of the season then I think he will have a bigger chance to get a new contract. Otherwise I don't think he will be permanent.

Carrick was appointed as manager until the end of the season. So far, Carrick's work has been quite satisfactory, as he took over mid-season without a pre-season, and the team wasn't in top form. However, Carrick has been able to revive Manchester United's performance. Carrick is a talented coach, and he will certainly want to demonstrate to the management that he deserves a long-term contract as Manchester United manager.

  I wonder if any of these reasons could be why he's been linked with a move to Old Trafford.

I think it could be both... Sources looked quite serious about his tendency to leave Chelsea as soon as possible. It didn't happen during the winter transfer window maybe.

But it could be seen this summer. They say he missed Manchester. His family and friends as well of course. It really feels like I'm playing Football Manager. I lost some players due to this reason. Anyways let's see how he will end up.

Unfortunately, Ruben Amorim wasn't diplomatic, in the sense that he didn't engage in dialogue with the players and couldn't help those struggling to improve their performance. He easily dismissed them and constantly changed the starting eleven, which prevented the players from adapting to their positions, consequently resulting in poor team play.


Today we only have one game, which will be Leeds United against Nottingham Forest. Interesting fact about these two teams:

Nottingham Forest = 24 games, 7 wins, 17th position

Leeds United = 24 games, 6 wins, 16th position

Bookmakers are placing Leeds United as favorites:

Leeds United @2.22; Draw @3.35; Nottingham Forest @3.45

Leeds United are strong when playing at home, but I believe both teams will score and there will be a draw.

Cole palmer leaving is never a possibility now because anything that makes the hierarchy of Chelsea to sanction that move will pitch the fans against them, and it shows lack of ambition from them. Right now they are already on the spotlight because some fans protested against them after the sacking of enzo maresca, demanding for them to leave and sell off the club, so selling Cole palmer to Manchester United is a no go area for now because it will really be costly if they ever take that step.

Then as for the form of Cole palmer, the only thing that has made his form to stutter this season is injuries, just as you have already said, but once he is fit, he is going to improve further.

I absolutely agree with you on this, Michael Carrick looks good right now, he has motivated the Manchester united squad to the point that they seem not to be afraid of any rival. what I do not know is how long they will remain consistent with this good form.

I'm of the opinion that the management team of Manchester united are presently weighing their options on whether to keep him on permanent basis but they also may be considering a situation where things might suddenly fall apart like that of Amorim.

Carrick is not the permanent coach of manchester united. But with the help of Carrick, there is a positive change in the performance of manchester united. Manchester united has performed well against strong teams like manchester city and arsenal. For this reason, carrick should be given more opportunities. Carrick does not have much experience. Even if Ruben Amorim did not succeed in Manchester United, Ruben Amorim did great work in improving Manchester United attack that has helped Michael Carrick win his first 3 games in Manchester United. Ruben Amorim could have probably got things right in Manchester United if he had accepted to change his information but he was too stubborn and refused to take advice from people who wants he to succeed in Manchester United, and his stubborness made him lose his job. Arsenal is doing very well and I'm confident Mikel Arteta will do everything possible to win against Sunderland no matter how difficult they try to make it, because Sunderland played Arsenal draw in the first league game. So I'm expecting Mikel Arteta to come up with a way to deliver this match because this three points is very very important to them. Sunderland cannot be underestimated because they also have a strong team this season, we saw how tough they were against top teams in the first league.

if you think Ruben Amorim's time was not all bad now give me one thing he should be remembered for during his time at Manchester United look that man brought nothing but more pain and frustration to old Traford he lost a whole Europa League finals to Tottenham Hotspurs something even Eric Ten Hang won't dare, the fact is I have been telling people that Manchester United actually got what it takes to face any team in the world what they only need was a good coach because the team has got some pretty good talents Manny thinks I was bluffing now Michael Carrick is proving me right, you guys just wait a lot is yet to come.

Michael Carrick has started pretty well but I will continue to say it's too early to even compare him with Xabi. Yes he started well but consistency is the key. At Middlesbrough he did well on the first two seasons before declining.

I feel like the better one to bet is the Manchester United Totenham by far, is again a batle between two super irregular teams, i know Manchester United now seems to have adquiere some regularity but they still have so solidify it so im not gonna be sure about it after a few more games with solid wins. Totenham comes from a good comeback against Manchester City so they have high hopes for this game for sure.

Betting on the Manchester United vs Tottenham match is too risky because it is difficult to predict the outcome in 1x2 betting. Another bet with a lower risk is that both teams will score.

I have my own analysis behind this statement, and my reasoning lies in how both teams have performed in their last five matches. In their last five matches, they have managed to achieve a good goal ratio within 90 minutes. For Manchester United, under Carrick's coaching, Manchester United's highest goal ratio occurred in the second half, and Manchester United's average goals are similar to Tottenham's in the last three matches.
This is worth considering.
