In the past few games we have seen more stability from this Liverpool team, and even though they have been not too that convincing, but I think that arne slot deserves more time in this Liverpool team because he has earned the right for more time to turn things around completely.
The good thing is that they have realized that their biggest problem is their defense and Virgil van dijk has past his best days, so if he can be replaced with someone better, I believe that Liverpool will get back to the level they are known for in no distance time, and those calling for the sack of arne slot will later eat their word.

The current Liverpool manager is actually one of those with a good reputation. Many judged him when he first arrived at Anfield. I think every coach initially faces many challenges when coming to a new team one of which is that the strategy implemented isn't fully implemented by the players. As the second season approaches it will certainly become more challenging to achieve the desired results.

We can now see what the Liverpool team has achieved where they have found their best performance again under Arne Slot especially in the previous match they just won the match against one of the best teams in the EPL competition namely Newcastle United meaning that Liverpool is back on the winning track so that they are currently preparing in all lines because in the next match Virgil van Dijk will face Man City at home and I am sure that in that match they are more confident in the Liverpool team in winning than Man City.

I partially agree: Slot picked up from where Klopp left, so half of the job was already done because he didn't change too much, he was smart enough to understand that what he inherited was working and there was no reason to change it. Maybe he did it out of respect for Klopp, maybe because since he was new he didn't want to change too many things, anyway the first year he played it smart. Then comes the second year, and maybe he feels more confident after winning the Premier League and he wants to detach from Klopp's Liverpool and make it his Liverpool, hence all the new players he brought in. But until now his bet is not paying off at all.

While I agree that Carrick definitely looks like he is doing great, specially compared to Amorim, I think he created a big trouble for himself. Normally this team isn't this good, and they won the first three games, so Carrick is seen as a great manager who will do wonderfully.

When that day comes and when they do that badly, we are going to see how they end up hating Carrick as well. It is still early to make sure about Carrick to be the one for Manchester United. But this is definitely a marvelous start by him! He beat Arsenal and Manchester City in 9 days. Now it is a 3-win streak with the Fulham one...

Carrick needs to keep winning as much as possible. If he manages to keep the team in top 4 by the end of the season then I think he will have a bigger chance to get a new contract. Otherwise I don't think he will be permanent.

As a coach there will be good times and hard times, but let it be that your good results are more than the bad results so that in those bad times when people look at those good results that were achieved, they won't bash you that much. Carrick staterd very well and even if he records bad results in the coming days people won't talk about it that much. Why people criticised coaches like Amorim and Ten Hag at Manchester United was that the bad results were more than the good results.

It's true that we are seeing things be a lot better this season for United and they will want to get better later on. The transfers towards offense they have made year after year is the reason why they were so bad. I agree that getting some star players on defense and midfield should be the next thing they do. With Mbuemo and Bruno on offense, they are fine and doing a fine job, I think getting that level of players on defensive midfield and defenders would be the best choice they can make.

We still don't know if Bruno Fernandes is staying for longer. Currently his contract lasts until June 30, 2027. But I'm not even sure about beyond this summer...

You have a point, but for now let's watch what happens, Carrick might actually do better than his predecessors in the long run, we all know that the players have a of frustrating every coach that comes in, amorim wasn't bad at all, he has done a lot to make the team move forward but they frustrated him. My opinion on this is that people can actually be different, perhaps Carrick has his way that makes things different.

Michael Carrick is definitely doing well at Manchester United r8ght now and don't think that anyone should start expecting so much from him, but the truth is that he is definitely doing well right now. Manchester united has really improved under Michael Carrick and I don't think he should be under any kind of pressure.  He has proven that he can handle the situation in the club, so in my opinion I think he should be given more time and should not be judged on just his performance this season.

We hope the winning streak continues, but when it comes to betting, I think betting on both teams to score offers a better chance of winning.

The City tends to perform much better at home, and yesterday was no different. They controlled the game and took an early lead, but didn't back off but kept pressing and it paid off with another 2 goals.
After 2-0 advantage from the first game, Guardiola could allow himself to experiment with the squad a bit and gave a lot of bench players a chance to appear in the starting lineup. Haaland got his chance as a substitute, he had two good chances but failed to convert.

The final is to be played on 22nd March. Man City will face Arsenal, so it should be a pretty good game.

He did well even the first time he was given the caretaker manager position. I still wonder why Manchester United has to sign Ole Gunnar Solskjær anyway. They should have given him a chance back then, given that he was part of Jose Mourinho's coaching staff before he got sacked at Manchester United. Manchester City that's off and on, one would think they have picked up form only to either draw or lose again. Earlier this season, there was a time they were good, then they switched to a weak form and the circle continues. Just look at this very 2026, how it started out for them, we thought they had picked form only to drop points for 3 consecutive matches. The final might turn out differently but right now I don't trust Manchester, City, Arsenal to me is more reliable in this encounter.

No doubt if late, Manchester United seems focused on the task and have being using their lines to some good effect. Beating Arsenal which would have being regarded as the toughest team in the league and how challenging their fixture was, Arteta knows it, you know certainly that Arsenal looked forward to keeping the points but nope, Manchester United wasn’t going to let that happen and they scored yet another goal after each equalizer eventually winning all 3 points. That’s the quality this Manchester United team has evolved with under this new management. It’s now a question of how long they can hold.

Amorim didn't win any of his first three matches after he took over from Eric Ten Hag. In fact, Amorim is one of the worse coach United have ever hired since history because he got the highest defeat since the history of United coaches. Is that the person that you want to use to disprove the fact that Carrick has been performing excellently since he took over as an interim coach. Compare the team performance during Amorim time and this time.

This is definitely true, and why they put up with him for that long still doesn't really make sense to me. Erik Ten Hag was a terrible coach too, just because he won FA cup he thinks he was good and the team was the problem but winning FA cup doesn't make him great, we have seen how terrible he was when he was there, he had a decent start but got worse and worse by the day.

It is really hard to predict Liverpool this season especially in the premier league, they always win a game you don't expect them to win and they also lose when you don't expect them to..., but honestly I think they are better of in the champions league this season than in the premier league because you can imagine where they are in the champions league table and there position in the premier it doesn't make any sense, they are suppose to do better in the premier league than in the champions league because people who plays champions league are champions in their various league but regardless I think they will still move up soon in the premier league table.

Liverpool performance has really dropped big time in this season premier League, and frankly speaking I don't know what to say about Liverpool poor performance in premier League. Because when this season started Liverpool was in good performance, to the extent people where already projecting them to win this season premier League title and all of sudden they lost form and currently they are the worst big team in this season premier League. people expected better from them but they keep messing up, when you expect them to performance very well, they end up performing terribly. Liverpool coach should better work on the team before things get worst.

Of course, many people predicted that Liverpool would be the favorite team to win the Premier League this season due to the they were playing at the beginning of the season, Liverpool was playing like a team that aims to become another champion this season again, but we were wrong, they only proved that only to lose form in the league, Liverpool is not the only big teams that is struggling in the league this season, I consider Tottenham as the most worse team.

Arne Slot started the season with his own tactics, which different from what he used last season, and they did not start the season with the previous players that helped them to win the league last season, they sold some players while also signed some players, but the new signings are already adapting to the system, as they destroyed Newcastle in their last game.

That is what I say about football. I don't easily conclude till the last day or last whistle. Sure, they started well, but there was something about there games, they were struggling to hold possession and also win matches. We saw them managing to win, and they finally in the last minute got a winner, and everyone was just sceptical about how long they can stay with there winnings, buy it didn't take long they started failing apart, and till now, they have not still braced up.

Hopefully, they are doing better now, and let's see how long they can maintain and see how they would end this season.

He is an interim manager, there is no much time he will be given, the only advantage he will have is that he will stand an opportunity when he is performing well like he is doing now the team is playing well and nothing will change unless the team plays well, if he performs well and the team does well the board can then decide to consider him as the manager, but being an interim manager is different from being the main mangers, the only advantage is that he is a Manchester United Legend and the club might decide to give him a full contract if he club wants to give him the opportunity and the project, I have seen Manchester United being linked with Luis Enrique who is a grate manager and nobody knows if he is going to sigh a new contract in Paris-Saint-German, but I believe if Luis Enrique wants to be the manager of Manchester United, he will be accepted by Manchester United Board instead of Carrick, because they wouldn’t want to make the same mistakes they did with Ole Gunners.

Carrick has really started well at Manchester United and to be sincere,  I think he is a better coach than Amorim,  because he understands what formation that will work for the team and he is capitalizing on it. I wouldn't say that Amorim is a bad coach, but I think the board needs to understand that Manchester United is rebuilding and they should realize that it's a process, so sacking coach after coach will not help the team. Like I said Carrick has started well and has shown signs that he can handle the job, what the board should do it to give him time and hopefully he might come out good.
