This is how it looks in the table while we are about to start the 37th week...

Today there is a nice match between Aston Villa and Liverpool at Villa Park! Actually both of these teams are very likely to qualify for the CL at the moment. Unless Bournemouth win against Manchester City and one of them loses points tonight...  Tongue

But it's quite a low probability to see both of these incidents happening. Emery might not risk his best players much tonight by thinking of the EL final to take place in 5 days. This is why I don't expect Liverpool to lose.
I think same here too, Aston Villa coach will most likely put in less effort on the game besides they are fighting for something much more bigger for them to achieve. Liverpool has nothing at stake and will most likely be the team to win but I'm not entirely certain about it because they on their own cannot be totally trusted on wether they would win or not. Let's just wait and see the outcome.

Here we go Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Michael Carrick will be staying at Manchester United as the permanent manager after being approved by Jim Radcliffe. Michael Carrick has really worked so hard to deserve the deal and this is a good News for the club and fans. The long awaited deal is finally here. This is a very fair fans consideration deal. I wish him luck in this new task. What do you think will happen to Manchester United next season, do we expect a league from the new boss or is it going to end in securing another champions League spot? Michael Carrick must be very careful and more tactical. I wish him well.

This appointment of Michael Carrick as head coach had to happen. After what Carrick has done with Manchester United, it probably couldn't have been any other way. If this appointment had not taken place, neither the fans nor the players would have understood the club management. At the beginning of the season, I thought United wouldn't rise above 10th place in the league, but now they are firmly in 3rd place and are guaranteed to qualify for the Champions League. I hope that next season Carrick will be able to show results just as good as in the current one.

This is the kind of match that always looks unpredictable because of the factors we must consider before picking the favorite team to win. Normally, if Aston Villa did not have the Europa final, I would say that with Liverpool’s current form, they are the favorite team to win the match. But now that Aston Villa have a Europa final coming up, you never know maybe their coach will bench some key players ahead of the final. That makes it hard to predict the winner now because it’s possible we may think they will bench their key players, but later they may decide not to bench them and still appear strong enough to have a good match against Liverpool tonight. However, if Aston Villa decide to rest some of their key players, then I would say Liverpool have a good chance of winning this match. But let’s see what is going to happen

First I love the fact it's just but two years dead with an option to stay for addictional one year, should in case things are going the other way round he will be easy to sack, and again it's not just to sign him and leave him stranded in the club, he equally need a backup, like they should sign him a more better players and a good replacement for Case, not that he used this current Manchester United team to get to this point they will then think he can do it against that won't be really nice, so in as much as they've signed him they should equally back him up in all that are to be done for the growth of the team.

As much as they've tried in trusting him for the job, they're still acting safe by giving him just two years contract instead of four or five well some fans and their board has shown serious trust for him, it's left for him to give other fans that are doubters a big shock and also try not to disappoint those that's trusted him for the job.

It's good that they didn't waste time to appoint a permanent manager cause it would also help speed up the signing of new players to the club. I thought same too but Michael Carrick rescued the from a big disappointment this season.

From what Michael Carrick has dedicated to Man United so far, it is indeed very deserving for the management to give that to Michael Carrick. However, besides that, I also really hope that the Man United management fully supports Michael Carrick in building this team the way he wants.
And honestly, I am very confident that Michael Carrick will succeed in making Man United better, and even if the Man United management gives a long-term contract to Michael Carrick, there is nothing wrong with that because he deserves to get it.

This season is obviously not what Liverpool fans and club owners expected. Slot spent a huge amount of money on transfers, including breaking a record for the most expensive one, but failed to deliver results.
Right now Liverpool is losing to Aston Villa 3-1 with only few minutes to go, which could be a final nail to the coffin.

Some are linking Xabi Alonso as a potential new Liverpool's manager, which I think could be a good move for the club.

For me Aston Villa is gonna win this game in their home i know they come with a very bad performance but they know how to beat the big teams and more in their home the only thing it gives me some doubts is Aston Villa has ina  few days the final for Europa League which can cause Emery to save some players.

But for me Aston Villa wants to secure their spot in the next Champions League.
This is a really important match for both teams, and I think it could go either ways, although I think Aston Villa has the advantage of playing at home, but Liverpool can be unpredictable, so I am expecting to watch a well contested match. I they they will both qualify for the champions league next season, so I will not be surprised if Aston Villa decides to rest some players for the Europa final, so for this reason I will only bet on goals rather than backing any of the teams to win today.
No doubt because both teams are still not able to secure their spots for the Champions league, and Bournemouth is also having good performance in the last few games, even though upcoming challenges are going to be the toughest, but today's winner will be able to have the job done.

Aston Villa's home performance is not good, while Liverpool is also losing points consistently in away games.
In today's game, Aston Villa will surely try to have some changes because they want to have their players at their best for the Europa Cup final, where they still have a chance of going into the Champions league, while Liverpool has no chance like them.

It may look to you Manchester City have already missed their chances and the pressure is no longer on Arsenal right now, Manchester City still have chances of becoming the premier league champions as long as Arsenal will have to play against Burnley and Crystal Palace, and as Arsenal have not play against Burnley and Crystal Palace and win, Manchester City chances and hope to become the premier league champions at the end of the season is still there, they just need to win the last 3 of their games and wait to see how Arsenal how many points Arsenal would be able to take in their last 2 games.
The same way Arsenal have chances of dropping points, City have the similar and this season it has often be the Cuty dropping the points after we thought it's time fir them to take the lead.

This is among things to consider, Gunners can drop pointe in their coming games but same as City and yet none will want to but their performance and other fact might affect them.

Well well well, looks like Liverpool just had a dance with their nightmare.. Watkins terrorising defenders at will and helping the team to cement that top 4 finish just in case they don't win the Europa**which they will win** while Liverpool struggles to carry their weight.. with players like Salah leaving and Slot almost getting another season.. honestly this team won't be the same come next season..

Well played Aston Villa  Cool

And we are through the final 2 weeks of the season...

Arsenal are still keeping ahead of Manchester City but by only 2 points! However if we don't see a big surprise, Arsenal are finally about to make it. Because just look at their remaining games.

Burnley are too easy to beat at home for them. This team have relegated. Crystal Palace have a Conference League finale to play like I said already. If Arteta can't make use of this opportunity then I don't know when he can...

Every poster here is more negative than positve when it comes to discussions about Arsenal winning the Premier league competition.

The home fans will not disappoint the players, they will all come out in their numbers to support Arsenal when they play against Burnley. As for the game against Crystal Palace, I believe he will rest his best squad because they can not take the Conference League finals likely.

Yet again, I'm confident that Arsenal emerge as Premier League Champions. That game against Aston villa will shock many, we'll see.
There will not be any surprises and I do not  expect any when Arsenal take to the pitch in their last two fixtures in the premier league,

This title race is already over and I do not know why many people still feel there still a chance for Manchester city, if there should be any more surprises then it should be against Manchester city cause they are the team with the most scariest fixture before the end of the season,

They are to face Bournemouth, a very difficult team and Aston villa, another top team who is fighting for the champions league spot, if you put all of these factors together you will notice that it is Manchester city that might end at dropping some points so it is safe to say that Arsenal still has a little bit of advantage over Manchester city as far as the race for the title is considered.

What a wonderful game from Aston Villa tonight they really performed well against Liverpool and they achieved the three point. I didn't expect Liverpool will concede goal too much like this, but I think is because the league is going to and ends we will be seeing different surprises and see big club are losing against small club but tonight Aston Villa really shocked me I didn't expect Liverpool will perform weak too much against Aston Villa. Liverpool just need to sigh some new players next season if they really what to achieve a title next season because since the season started Liverpool have not be so good and they are even struggling to qualify for the Champions League competition next season.

Aston Villa played Well But the Credit Goes to Liverpool player  Grin  Szoboszlai mistake give the whole rhythm to Aston Villa the turning point in this match are Szoboszlai mistake. Aston Villa score first but after the half time Liverpool make it 1:1 the game are in under control of Liverpool but they doing the same mistake and losing possession against a high work rate team can't give you another Chance and at the end we see a humiliation result of Liverpool Huh I didn't expect that's much from Liverpool but the mistake they are doing minutes after minutes so I told to my friends it will be Aston villa night.

Liverpool need changes there is alot of technical problems in the squad first don't trust on Slot they are not consistent in wining 2nd they need to replace salah wing the RW are also not that's much trust worthy bring a trust worthy winger and I think Isak is good But need to fit for the next season Otherwise bring any good striker which lead the team

I never expected this kind of performance from Liverpool this season, they won the premier league title last season, they signed lots of players during the transfer window, but we can see how Liverpool are performing this season, their performance has been so poor in some matches, and you won’t even expect a team that spent that amount of money on players to be playing so poorly.

Some Liverpool fans are already requesting for slot to be sack, they believe he is not the right coach for Liverpool, and I also agree with them, you can’t spend that amount of money, and still be playing poorly.

Aston villa played against Liverpool, and to my greatest surprise that Liverpool ended up losing the match, they conceded  4 goals and they could only score two goals in the match, thats kind of bad. Honestly I feel Liverpool management should just get another coach.

I do believe that Salah's leaving will impact the club big time from what I saw today,

Their performance was very poor, and things only seemed to change when Salah was subbed in, this shows that Salah's contributions to the team is very significant, and loosing him with no good replacement will be able to make Liverpool struggle for champions league qualifications in the next season's to come

Liverpool suffered a major loss again. Aston Villa won the big match and moved into 4th place. Liverpool remained in 5th place. Aston Villa gained a significant advantage heading into the last week of Premier League. This match was crucial for both teams. Rogers and Watkins scored again and kept their teams in contention. I think Aston Villa will finish the league in 4th place. That's a great achievement for them. They really have a strong squad. Beating Liverpool was definitely no surprise to me. They are used to it now.

Excellent attacking football from them, and this continues to show the inadequacies of the Liverpool team and yet the top brass are still willing to keep Slot. I didn't see Aston Villa playing this good football today but I guess that Nottingham Forest really did change them to some extent.

It was bad for Rio not to score that goal because I was really trying, I think he hasn't scored any goal for Liverpool yet.

What a night man! Who could have expected 6 goals from this match? I didn't... I even thought Liverpool could win. Because you know that Aston Villa are going to play their EL final only a few days later.

Emery didn't change his lineup much as far as I could see. After this result there is technically a chance for Iraola's team to push for a CL spot. But they are unlucky that their next opponent is Manchester City.  Tongue

I am still surprised why Liverpool wants to still keep Arne slot for next season, I think if I was them I have seen enough to know he should not be their coach got next season, Chelsea are a team everyone is smashing around but Liverpool drew with them, Aston Villa hasn't been a great team recently in the English premier league but smashed into oblivion Liverpool.
Liverpool has spent so much already this season I doubt of they will spend as much next season.

Manchester United coach Carrick is actually a good manager and he have shown how good he is, Manchester United almost run down they reach a stage where many are not expecting anything good from Manchester United because they were too bad in performance.

But coming of Carrick as their manager really change everything, and for now he has done a lot for the team already we just hoping to see more from him in the next coming team, Carroll is going to challenge many clubs by next season.
