Yes, all on track at the moment. Arsenal currently has to maintain its performance so far; they look confident in this derby, and play offensively when the whistle is blown. Maybe because their rival, Liverpool, and the city are not playing well, thus motivating them to get 3 points at Emirates. Eze surprises us by scoring a hat trick tonight. I agree. Arsenal's achievements so far must be maintained so that fans' desires for a championship celebration can be realized this season. Liverpool has to figure out whatever is wrong, and needs to do it very quickly because if they don't, this is gong to be biggest news of going bankrupt. I understand they had the money to spend on this, but you have to realize, Barcelona did the same, they had the money at the time but after success didn't come soon enough, they failed because of the salary issues and all of their FFP went to salaries and didn't had much left to put money into transfers.

Liverpool could face the same thing, I understand they are making some money, but if they finish outside of UCL levels, then the money they are getting will be so small that they are going to be unable to pay for any transfers without selling and turn into Barcelona.

It is football for christ sake. You should be expecting stuffs like this. Another angle to look at it is that, Sean Dyche is experienced in the Premier League, he knows how to play big sides like this having a bad time within themselves.

Not just the defensive issues but also the managers errors. Anybody can blast these players but the manager should be taking full responsibility for every game they've lost.

Did you really say it by believing in it?    Mate, a team like Liverpool would never do so and they don't have the luxury of doing so as well. They always aim the top in the PL and CL both. Now they are just not performing well.

There is literally zero consistency and Arne Slot has the full responsibility with that. Besides I wouldn't be surprised if he's sacked soon. It all depends on if the board see improvement or not. It isn't easy to stay at big teams for long if you are failing over and over again.

Liverpool won 3 games already in the champions league, which you also know they haven't recorded such a good result in the premier league recently considering the gravity of the champions league, why I said so, is that the attention could be to hold the champions league, and you know they have the right squad to contend very well in the league. Well apparently they tend to be doing well in the champions league than in the premier league and that was how Manchester united was doing last season when they were not inform and they barely win in the premier but was unbeaten on the Europa league and they maintained it till the final where they lost to Tottenham Hotspur. Though you can not tell for sure if the position Liverpool is now, is a very bad one because Manchester city was around that position last season but before the end of the season they finished at top 3 no one believed that last season but it happened.

Liverpool are in a very big mess now and I don't see them coming out of it anytime soon. The team morale is gone and I just don't know what will happen next to them. How will they lose to Nottingham Forest at home when they are trying to get back to form. Nottingham has been very poor this season and trashing Liverpool at home just show how bad Liverpool has been lately.
Sometimes I begin to wonder what is the issue with Liverpool,  but I just can't figure it out. How will the defending champion be in such a mess. I think Salah has been very poor this season and that has also affected the team, because last season he was in a very fine format and they went on to win the premier league. I hope they start winning matches soon, else they should even forget about top 4.

That's a very funny thing to say that Liverpool are focusing more on the champions league than the premier League 😁, I mean it's the same set of players and same coach for me I just think that the atmosphere is all different in the champions league and it's always when they have taken a heavy loss on the premier League that they get to face off a strong opponent in the champions league. If Liverpool wants to go far in any of the competition then something needs to be done ASAP because very soon even the champions league will get a whole lot tougher.

What else do you expect me to think of Liverpool's poor performance in the premier league? They're no where close to the kind of expectance fans had for them this season. it's possible they won't see top four spots this season, they're doing badly and they still not find their form, could it be that the coach has lost ideas to manage the team or because they brought in Players that are not fit into the squad. I think the management should take a decision and sack the coach. Liverpool can't continue like this, a defending champions playing like an average team.

I feel bad for them, last season they performed well but see what they're playing in the league causing the fans emotionally and financially every weekend. To me Liverpool is just being lazy because I can't possibly say that they are focusing on the champions league when they hardly beat their opponents in the champions league so I don't think champions league could be the reason behind that, and if that's what the coach is planning I must say that he's making a very big mistake and by the time he would realize What he is doing by them he must have been kick out from his position, so he better change his plans if that's the case. I agree with you that that's a classic argument. I think the Premier League is also very prestigious. Although it's still lower than the Champions League in terms of prestige, it's still a league that would be noteworthy if they could win back-to-back titles.
Furthermore, as you said, they also spend a lot of money in the transfer market. Isn't that what they do to gain a foothold in these two major competitions?

I won't be suprised If such excuse came from Slot cause he's fund of it, when they got beaten by Manchester United his excuse was that the opponent's coach used a different tactics from what he knew, fans are beginning to lose trust in him cause lots of Liverpool fans even some of their old players went to the media to vent their anger concerning their poor performance in the Premier League.
 What's the need of giving more focus to the Champions league when they're not sure of winning it, I don't even think they're among the top 5 contenders in that competition, they better sit up or risk missing to qualify for the Champions league next season, it would be so disappointing for a defending champions.

Currently, Liverpool are 11 points behind league leaders Arsenal, so I think it'll be almost impossible for them to be consistent enough to reclaim the top position of the English Premier League standings again this season and that's the reason why I think their title defence is over already but finishing at the top four of the league at the end of the season is very much possible but that'll only happen if they can improve from their current poor performances. Having garnered 18 points so far, Liverpool are just 3 points behind fourth placed Aston Villa so instead of trying to catch up with league leaders, they should focus on finishing in the top four.

Every suggestions here are speculations, Liverpool spent folds of money in the transfer window to get capable players, when that happened Slot had challenges at who would substitute who. That's why the difficulty came, Sallah had Isak to contend with goal scoring, who would pass for who some fans said at the time of the transfers.

Frimpong was right-back and Slot now uses him for right winger to suit other players who he thinks would handle the right back position, he still does right-back work but joggling with right winger and back for recovery could be challenging.

Most of the wings he signed for had already nice Liverpool players that can do the job, but he sold Alnold for Frimpong, now at the presence of the new signees, they should be some team misunderstanding before they get to know themselves and make nice decisions, even Slot at the moment is meant to be confused about the right move to make with these players.

I agree with your points of view towards thier performances, It's very unfortunate for Liverpool's performance this season, especially in Premier League matches. Although it's not the first time seeing a bigger team performing poorly, Liverpool's performance this term actually surprises many fans this season in the Premier League precisely. However, I was also impressed with their performances in the Champions League. I can see how Liverpool is dragging points with Real Madrid and others. Well, if they really put more efforts, or focusing on the Champions League, they may at least achieve a tangible reward.

Let's see what the result of Manchester United vs Everton will be today, I will predict thier match to either the Manchester United win or the match may probably end in a draw.
