Liverpool could be focusing more on champions league than the premier league. I don't see them doing fine anytime soon in the premier league this season the position they're on is not conducive enough to get them back on into the game. Liverpool fans should be hoping on Champions league than premier league, no club will allow them the chance like they did in the last season.

I bet you're just telling yourself that, perhaps to make yourself feel better on Liverpool ailing performance that doesn't seem to be getting any better. They're not doing fine in the premier league and it's not because they decided to be more focused on winning the title in the champions league.
You're right about not doing fine in the premier league as their poor performance so far is what has made competing for the league title not conducive anymore for them this season. They seemed right on track until they fell off and started playing woefully.

After 2 back-to-back wins against Vila and Real Madrid it looks like whatever crisis Liverpool had, it was over. Unfortunately, that wasn't true. As much as a 3-0 loss to Man City could've been explained with Man City being a top-class team, this weekend's 3-0 defeat to a bottom-of-the-table Nottm Forest, in front of the home crowd, is a 100% proof that Liverpool is in a deep crisis.
They did dominate in ball possession and made 20 shots on goal, but they struggled to create decent scoring chances (they had a few at the beginning of the game). Nottm Forest smelled the blood, pressed harder and showed Liverpool how it's done.
It's surreal to see Liverpool at 12th place, given they had a very good start to the season.

Man City also with a loss, while Arsenal exceeded expectations as they demolished Tottenham 4-1 in a one-sided show.

Everton need more than discipline in their squad because if this isn't ironed I'm sure these two guys Keane and Gueye will not be in the same page. Well the problem they have now is to defend till the end because having a red card in the 13th minutes is going to slow how they operate against a complete Manchester United.

That Gueye guy is either mentally not okay or there must have been some altercation in the dressing room before the this match. The last time I witnessed something like this was between Mane and Sane and if I remember correctly, they had a heated argument and later had a real heat in the dressing room but this one is totally strange from what I witnessed, nothing justify Gueye action to slap Keane, that's very wrong.

What I don't understand is Manchester United inability to score one goal even with 10 players, or they can't do this I don't know how exactly they are going to be better in this league. Somebody actually told me that What Nottingham Forest did to Liverpool, Everton is going to do the same to Manchester United and here they are living it, 25 minutes before the game will end, maybe things can change I can't tell for sure.

Everton have made history and it's  a remarkable and incredible moment for them. This is the second time that Everton have won United in Old Trafford in 33 visits. Everton is the first team in history to win United in Old Trafford with one man down. Everton had their first back-to-back clean sheet this season.

Manchester United was unable to find the back of the net with a lot of wasted opportunities. Tonight end their unbeaten run. Everton deserves more than this, Pickford did great.

Manchester United lost today. They played against Everton, since we all noticed slight improvement in Manchester United performance, I was thinking they will be winning the match, since they play better than Everton, but Amorim couldn’t deliver today, Manchester United had lots of chances and they wasted all, they couldn’t convert anyone into goal. Manchester United had 25 total shots, and they had 6 shots on target and Manchester United couldn’t even get one into goal, that’s really bad.

Everton played with 1 man down since beginning of the match, and they were still able to win the match, so if Everton didn’t receive Red card in the match, then maybe they will have scored more than 1 goal which they school.

It was a big surprise that Manchester United  lost the match even with the red card  given to Everton, in today's match Manchester United had more ball position but they still lost the match, Everton did very well they were able to use the little opportunity they got to score a very wonderful goal, Manchester United missed some opportunities if the had utilize the opportunity very well they would have scored the goal and at least draw the match but instead they could not make good use of those opportunities, Manchester United coach needs to do more better in order to make the club stronger.

That’s funny at the same time, I came here to comment about it actually, in fact what happened is not the first time in football, let’s not forget that each player may pass through emotional hurdles or personal issues. However, I am not saying that it is okay for a player to punch or hit his teammate nor his opponent, but we can understand the reasons behind this,

They managed to win the match after all, maybe what happened made the whole team more focused and motivated to defend better and replace that gap, they have done a great job and took 3 important points. In the other hand, Manchester United is still showing very poor results regardless their gameplay, it’s always a volatile performance with the reds and very hard to predict their next move.

Coming to this forums thread and seeing things about the game between Manchester United Vs Everton and I went straight to check the scores only to see that Manchester United lost against Everton at home. It's even more surprising that it happened with Everton being a man down and going all the way to win. The red card situation was strange but you can't make a move like that, even if it's your own teammate. Everton managed to win despite that. Pickford made some great saves. Apart from Dewsbury-Hall's superb goal, Everton had no attack in the game. Even in that goal, Manchester United gave away the position despite closed down on defense.

I saw two interesting statistics after this game. Everton won at Old Trafford for the first time since 2013. Bad day for Red Devils. Everton also moved above Liverpool in the table for the first time since 2015, funny isn't it?

Spurs were no match for Arsenal, this Arsenal team have proven themselves over and over again, Spurs is a team that continues to struggle to find fitness in the EPL and could never have been much of a threat to Arsenal.

Everton did prove their strength today against Manchester United. With a red card, one would be left to think that the game is lost to them or Manchester United could find an equalizer but, not against this Everton side, they were able to defend their goal advantage and collected all 3 points.

Manchester United is a team in shambles really.

Just when a number of fans thought that Manchester United had finally regained form and things had started to get right, tonight they got a harsh reminder that things are far from perfect. Some fans were even suggesting that United would compete for the top four. How can a team that can fail to beat a 10-man Everton team at home honestly get into the top 4? Personally, I don't think they are ready yet.

Manchester United performed poorly playing against Everton. Today loss in old Trafford was a big pain to Manchester United fans all over the world,they didn't saw it coming that Manchester United will lose at old Trafford. Premiership matches are unpredictable especially at a time when we think we actually did pick the right team to win the game. Manchester United was the wrong pick I selected to defeat Everton. Everton victory wasn't a convincing winning, 0-1 victory wasn't convincing at all although it was counted for Everton but in a nutshell,Everton victory against Manchester United was a narrow match won.

I know quite well that, right now, it is not only the team that is embarrassed, or the coach himself,  I think including the fans that have been supporting them from the onset.
I will say that Everton defensive make up was very good, as they find all means to defend very well. This is the most important thing that lead them to victory, I believe there aim was to get a goal and go back to defend as they where even a ten men down and definitely they fight for the 3 points, quite embarrassing for Manchester United team and also to the coach, even extended to the fans who are supporter of Manchester United.

Honestly speaking, today's match between Manchester United and Everton was so disappointing for the fans today that had actually put hope on them to achieve the victory against Everton. I know many were giving Manchester United to beat them or expecting Manchester United to dominate this particular match against Everton, although there was a little bit okay, but they failed to deliver with Everton. Is it that they were confused because they actually had an opportunity, or did they struggle to create a goal scoring opportunity but they weren't opportuned? Unfortunately, Everton's performance and efforts in this match weren't enough to stop Manchester United from securing a goal, but even with the little efforts. Everton was putting pressure on them. Well, the match ended in favour of Everton by achieving the victory against Manchester United.

You shouldn't be disappointed at all, Manchester United are maybe trying to get back to default settings for them to play like they used to when the heat was much on them back then when Amorim was on the point of losing his job. Manchester United felt relax when the red card was shown to the Everton midfielder Gueye, it was as if Manchester United was fully in control of the game and instead of making Everton to see less of the ball it was the reverse, like both teams are complete on the  pitch. Everton saw more of the ball in the first half that was why their confidence grew to get that only goal that changed everything for the Red Devils, they couldn't get back into the game to get an equalizer which became a problem because Man UTD started acting desperate and frustrated at the same time. I feel that Amorim need to trybhis best to change their mentality if not this loss will affect them in their next game.
