Chelsea have now lost two matches in a row. Tonight they were beaten at home by Newcastle United.

There are about 30 minutes left in the match between West Ham United and Manchester City, and the score is currently 1–1. It’s an important game for Manchester City because they need to keep the points gap with Arsenal under control. If the match ends like this, their hopes for the championship will decrease significantly.

The match between the two teams was fiercely contested, Chelsea kept trying to break through Newcastle tightly organized defense, but so far to no avail. However, the deadlock was broken by Newcastle with a goal from Anthony Gordon, it was truly unexpected that the underdog would score the first goal. This is going to get even more exciting to watch, imagine if Newcastle manages to hold on until the end of the match, would certainly be a disaster for Chelsea.

The game moved towards ending as level but Chelsea failed to find the back of the net.

I think they will be punished more when PSG also travels to face them here at home, they failed to get a solid point against a side who rested most of their best players and still failed to get a win. Chelsea fans are already calling for the sack of the new manager

The surprise here wasn't that Chelsea was won but that they can't even avoid to score a goal. Both team have Champions league during the week and they need to play hard to qualify for the next round. Since they face same challenges then I don't see why Chelsea should lose to Newcastle. Yet it will be so disappointing if Chelsea can play to qualify this mod week. I'm still hoping my team can get an equalizer and more goal(s) to get all three points tonight at home but we still need to be careful while pushing for an equalizer in order for them bot to concede more goals.

The league isn't over yet and there are still a couple of games to play besides there is still Liverpool who can spring up some surprise although even them are struggling to keep a good form so definitely it would be hard for them to make the top four but as for Chelsea I think they can still try if they can get back to winning ways because at some point this new coach was giving them the winning mentality not until everything starts going south but hopefully he gets things working again.

Chelsea ever since they sacked their former manager Enzo Maresca, I think they’ve become worse than they were with him, I still think Maresca could have been given a longer chance. This days there’s no patience at all with coaches, every club wants immediate impact and results. This is why there are a lot of teams with dwindling form here and there.

Arsenal once again have added more points and more distance between them and the Citizens surely this season is theirs for the taking.

Arsenal secured another 3 points, now It Remaining 7 matches for Arsenal to go before the end of the season leaving Manchester City with 10 points to catch up with Arsenal. It's becoming a bit clearer who's this season's title winner would be in their favour.
Interesting outcome, never expected Arsenal to have won by this margin seeing how they started the match initially.

Manchester City could not secured 3 points as well, this is not the same Manchester City that becomes deadly during end of season when they are competing for the Premier League, they could not win West Ham, makes me believe the league is already decided, Arsenal are going to win the Premier League in a more comfortable manner than we  think. Manchester City also have tough games ahead, i don't think they can come out of it successfully.

It's funny thinking City is now playing the reverse of the painted scenario that, " towards the ending of the season, Arsenal will start drawing points and Pep will then go on a winning streak". Not to cushion Pep's performance but it's really difficult playing a team that is fighting to stay off relegation and we can clearly see it in there defensive work today. Good job to Arsenal today as it seems they are on the clear road to win the EPL this season.

It shows how bad Rosenior as a coach is. So hiring him is just putting the club backwards. They're potentially to miss UCL next season as they're keep dropping.
At this point, i don't see a proper solution for them to keep up their chance to play in UCL next season without hiring a new coach.

They need someone who can handle the club properly and get rid off all of the pressure. Someone who has similar figure like Maresca who is incredibly tactical and have a rigid system that helped their players not getting exposed.
Maresca who knew exactly what was wrong with the squad. So he adapted, and solved it by built the convenience tactic to get rid all of players flaws. Without someone similar to Maresca, it's impossible for them to wake up.

Sometimes I don't understand the Chelsea's fan base, there comes a time when every team falls short of an existing record, wasn't it just some weeks ago that the Chelsea fan base was praising Rosenior, now two lose behind and they a plying a sack bargain, I feel Chelsea should be patient with him, as it seems to me the players are another issue with the team.

Wasn't it thesame Maresca that they were saying Chelsea should sack.

I knew it wouldn't be easy for Man City, but... it kind of was. Everything was there except for goals. Man City dominated with 71% ball possession and made 21 shots on goal. They took an early lead in the 31st minute but couldn't hold on to it for longer than 5 minutes. West Ham only made one shot on goal, and that was enough to score and earn a draw.

Is it over for Man City? Possibly. The gap between them and Arsenal is not really that huge. Yes, they are 9 points behind, but they have one more game to play and will also play directly against Arsenal at home, so this could be reduced to only 3 points. The major problem is that Man City lack consistency and have hard time winning against teams that are weaker than them, like West Ham today. It looks like they don't deal to well with the pressure. I don't think this will change at the end of the season. The only chance for Man City is Arsenal hitting some sort of performance dip/season fatigue, which is not impossible.

With the poor mentality of the team, it will only take a quality and experience Coach to steady the ship, because by the way things are going, their form is going from bad to worse, and in my opinion they should put all their effort on retaining their place in the English premier league, because it wouldn't be funny at all, if they eventually drop to the championship.
Their champions league campaign is over because their is no way they can beat atletico madrid four zero with their poor form domestically and in Europe, that's why I think that it's time a change at the top is required, because the club is not making any progress under the leadership of dany levy in the past few years.

The Spurs have a good habit of getting things right in the final stretch and that is exactly what the fans are expecting They now face an excellent challenge in which they must prove their worth; they simply have to do it this is their opportunity. It is not as if their chances are running ou, football always offers fresh opportunities Now is the time for them to seize the moment and get it right. I have faith that they can do it, if they set their minds to it, victory will follow.

After having drawn against Barcelona at home, Newcastle United have an impressive run of form. Today they are doing a good job and have a big win against Chelsea, which is now facing another blow to their chances of having another Champions League season in the coming year.

This is why every manager should low-key focus on the qualification stage; securing their stance in the next round of every competition rather than trying to struggle against impossible odds. If Liverpool defeats Tottenham tomorrow, that means Chelsea has lost both on their UCL (elimination stage) first leg which is a bad way to start, and a chance to qualify for the UCL as they'll be moved to the 6th position.

The game is almost near the end, while Chelsea's attack is having nothing to do, things are almost at the lowest level for Chelsea as they are having inconsistency and their worst performance.

I never thought this season would end like this for them.

What a disappointment from Chelsea, you can lose to PSG and then still come back to bridge and still lose again, for me their chances of playing in next season champions league is slipping away, a win today would have put them at 3rd position and they couldn’t even get a point today. Honestly their overall game play was very poor, they barely created any good chance and their mere once that was created was wasted.


Now they will prepare to host PSG at home in their second leg of the champions league. For me with what I watched today I don’t think chelsea stand a chance to qualify for the quarter finals, I don’t see the spirit in them, I don’t even see the fight. Liam Roseniar have been poor lately, nothing is really working for him at the moment and something really needs to change if not they might be think of getting a new coach.

Chelsea sacked Enzo Maresca to hire Liam Rosenior thinking they are making a step forward but it now seems that they took ten steps backwards. I don’t know what’s wrong with the Chelsea’s management because i think they are responsible for what’s happening at the club right now, their level of inconsistency is too much, they seriously need to up their games especially in terms of players recruitment and coaching staffs that suits Chelsea’s standards because these current sets of players are not having that winning mentality.

It was really big shame for Chelsea’s not to win their match today….well I think the game football i think there is where we call luck and this time around Chelsea was not just lucky enough…well most of the time I didn’t even expect to see Chelsea winning their game…today so many errors where layoffs…their was this midfielder I have not remember his name now but that player did happen to played out of point….it was really a big fuck most people depend to see Chelsea at the top this time around but it was really important to see them win but I was impossible to them…

At this very point, Manchester City's next 6 games is going to be a tasky one. They first have to travel to East London to play West Ham this very weekend. And playing a team that is fighting it's way out of relegation is not something to overlook, especially in an away fixture. We saw what notthingham forest did the last time.

You just don't want to overlook these teams that are battling relegation. They're far more desperate to get a draw than to even fight for win. The premier league is not longer that disney land where lesser oppositions plays nice. Everyone is literally doing everything to stay alive at this point. The battle for the title, the battle for top 4, the battle for top 6, and the battle to remain the premier league, keeps getting interesting. Choosing to make yourself the scapegoat for any team can literally cost you a spot if you're not careful.

So, their next game in hand is against Chelsea, and that's after they've battled Real Madrid in the second leg of the UCL. The premier league is indeed very interesting.
