it doesn't look like there are any new projects to be developed yet or to be purchased, I think he will continue to focus on the existing ones. It can be seen that currently, he are continuing to update the rules on Twitter, especially looking for income for the pocket of Twitter users, who really want to be given special advantages with paid facilities.

Elon who was on the internet for having agreed to a fight with Mark Zuckerberg is one of the worlds billionaires with a networth that's more than Mark's Metaverse.

He has followed a trend of acquiring some of the world's top assets in form of largest shares and ownership of the companies.

In 2021 he purchased huge BTC, in 2022 he acquired Twitter. This is 2023 and he is yet working on huge space exploration project to Mars among others like Neuralink, the boring company, Tesla.

My question is, what big purchase could we see Elon Musk likely make this year?

2023 has almost entered Q3 and it seems that there is no further information regarding what Elon Musk will buy next in 2023, instead Elon Musk makes a fuss by accepting the fight with Mark Zuckberg.

CNBC International, Monday (1/5/2023) Elon Musk revealed that SpaceX will spend around USD 2 billion or Rp. 29.3 trillion for the development of spacecraft rockets this year.

a few months ago elon musk officially announced that he would focus on the development of rocket spaceX, I really believe that elon is pursuing an IPO of spaceX shares, because the tesla shares he owns have proven to work well so far. I salute Elon Musk's persistence in developing the company he owns, he is able to manage all of that very well.

He won't be buying anything major. He's already said he plans to consolidate companies into his "X" app, similar to "WeChat" in China. Given how much he sunk into Twitter, it wouldn't be too wise to make another impulse buy.

Oh yeah, I kinda missed the elephant in the room. Considering on how hot topic Twitter became when Elon bought it, surely it cost him a lot as well as it could potentially will give him his return after taking over the platform. Elon buying Twitter was like a sudden news for me when it first came out.

One of the reasons why I brought this topic up is because as he is studying Twitter and making adjustments with policies, and with his other projects and companies, he looks more interested in futuristic ideas like Web3, DEX, Electric cars, Space exploration, crypto currency, even the virtual reality/Metaverse.

I would not be surprised if he makes another purchase that might be classified as whale signal and thus influence the crypto market, mostly as BTC is expected to be halved next year. Without Elon giving any hint it is impossible to understand what is his plan of acquiring. It looks like he won't be focusing much on acquiring. The launch of threads is a big competence for Elon Musk and he'll be focusing on making Twitter stronger than the past. Seeing the direction Facebook and Messenger went, I doubt there'll be a lot of freedom of speech on the said platform. If anything, it could be another platform wherein Meta will just collect information from its users and use that data somewhere else. The said company is just farming people's information at this point, and pushing them ads to get more revenue. Threads is, IMO, the current hype that everyone will try for the first few weeks, but people will still crawl back to twitter given how much they know the platform and how 'transparent' its owner is currently.

I imagine Elon had plans to buy some other things but that Twitter purchase was quite pricey, and I'm not sure that he really even wanted to purchase Twitter in the first place ( he obviously tried to get out of the contracts ).  Someone brought up in another channel that he's currently in the process of purchasing a money transmitting license.  So it sounds like he's going to try and create some sort of Cash App type deal and potentially integrate it with Twitter.

Well, I'm not really sure if he is going to be earning a lot of money through the users on Twitter but I guess if this continues and people start disliking his decisions more regarding Twitter and its rules and stuff, there might be another alternative platform developed by someone in the tech world so that people can migrate from Twitter to that platform to avoid all these rules and regulations which are stopping people from accessing all the features and using the platform the way they could before.

The decision of removing all the blue ticks and offering blue ticks to everyone for a price has already made everyone pretty angry since it wasn't a good decision at all, now almost any person can have a blue tick on their profile which has made the blue tick useless which used to be a symbol of recognition before.

But I believe people will continue to watch what he does, and he will still influence the crypto market. It's not like he's still very busy with existing companies so I don't think he will have any intention of acquiring another company, but he always has complicated thoughts that I I have to admit he's smart and talented.
