The fair distribution of budgetary funds is a big problem for any state. Every official is trying to get his share of the pie, and as a result, quite a large part of the budget goes nowhere. well, @OP, Personally, for me, you might not be a bad person, but I guess you have the law to be content with. If you don't pay your tax, some way, you can go free, but most of the time you will not, and any time it's discovered, the system can basically detect all the tax you have been avoiding and you will pay it all at once, plus the fact that you will be in violation of the law for trying to cheat the system by not paying your tax. In my country, there's no way you can avoid the tax; if you do, you will face the law when you get caught. Just pay your taxes and be a good citizen.

Speaking about laws and trying out to violate on whats been imposed then you would really be considered to be a bad person but we know that there are things in life on which it isnt really in order on which we do know that there are corrupted countries and officials on it and this is why it wont really be  that surprising that there would be someone or people would be thinking up this way on which they've seen that taxes arent really that being implied or being used on the right way and this is why they would really be evading up tax as much as possible because they cant really be able to see such progress on a certain place.

How will the government be able to administer and supply the things it provides for us if you and I do not pay taxes? So good residents of a nation shouldn't choose to avoid paying taxes. I'm definitely not living in a country wherein healthcare and general welfare is top-tier, or something that can definitely help the impoverished people but to answer your question, yes, somewhat. The government, albeit not being perfect and most of the time corrupt, still provides services that help the impoverished and other sectors of the population. How are they able to do it? With taxes and donations. No matter how small your taxes might be, it still adds up to the budget of the government.

You are not a big bad guy if you managed to avoid paying taxes, but you are somewhat bad in a sense that you are benefitting from the public services the government creates and the public provide without giving your share.

I'm not from that country but I don't even get to enjoy the health care benefits that I am entitled to. Maybe I'm still young and healthy, thank God, but as much as I want to see where my taxes go is helping others then I'm good with that. I totally agree with your thinking, paying taxes is really our duty because it's the way for the government to sustain the economy and the country.  but many governments are abusing that and taxing everything in our lives, and that's not fair. i'm not advocating tax evasion, but if you can avoid any of it, you should.  We cannot obey every government order without knowing what is right and what is wrong.
