I just received this information for my gmail, and e dey KuCoin website also. I dey sure say e go dey useful to all of us wey dey dis board na why I say make I drop am here. KuCoin talk say then go make kyc mandatory for new members wey just dey create account with them, so if you be new member you go need complete your verification before you go fit dey use your account, no be like before wey you no need submit any documents before you go fit use KuCoin. Also old accounts wey register before 15 July go need complete their kyc also, if you no submit your documents, then plenty things go dey wey u no go fit do. So incase if we never complete our kyc and we get money for our KuCoin, make we do am now to avoid unnecessary story, and if you see say you no fit submit your document, then make we move our money commot for d exchange.

Anyone that is trading Kucoin P2P would have already passed KYC because KYC is needed for trading crypto to naira and vice versa.

People will still be able to withdraw after 15th of July, but will not be able to have all the trading features on the exchange in a way the user will soon or later not have options than to get verified or leave the exchange.

Have being using KuCoin for few years now if I tell you say I never complete my kyc you won’t believe. I dey use KuCoin trade, but I no dey use use the p2p na binance I dey use if I wan use p2p service, then I will send my coin to KuCoin. So no be everybody wey dey use KuCoin don do kyc, some people dey even use KuCoin because they no wan submits their identity, I dey sure say dem go lose customers with this service wey dey wan implement, not everyone likes submitting their identity, they believe they are not longer safe immediately their identity is submitted online, it can easily be exposed at any moment.

I also received the message too but of what use is it to me when I do not have anything there and nothing to do with them. It has nothing to do with being unfair. It is a normal policy for all exchanges to ask for KYC before using their platform but KuCoin was lenient enough to allow users engage in other services without KYC. They just want to step up and operate like other exchanges and it shouldn’t be something of great concern since we all know what centralized exchanges are known for.

Talking about their security, they’re undoubtedly good at securing funds that’s not a guarantee to totally depend on centralized exchanges for your savings.

KYC in centralized exchange platforms are becoming necessary so if you know that the exchange is good for you please update your information to have smooth running ride with them. Because be like sae government sef dey put pressure on them so dey need to gather all di information on their customers in their database. So that in case government come ask them dem go fit provide di info.

Na simple something sha, since dem don already give awareness to their customers about the kyc feature added to their exchange na for their to now decide if dem go continue to use their platform or change hands and find other exchange wey no dey use kyc. Well I Neva actually use any exchange wey no dey deal with kyc as my exchange na binance and if there is one thing binance is known for nai be kyc verification and I dey okay with dem because their services dey smooth plus I no dey hide anything so am okay with the KYC function.

Wetin we go understand about this KYC be say na way wey dem don begin regulation so e no suppose to be new thing now, make everybody ready for am.
