When it comes to the frequency that I gamble I just do this once a week at most, I also set how much money I am willing to use on that session and as soon as it is gone I stop gambling immediately, also the maximum amount of time I allow myself to gamble is just one hour regardless of the results I got at the time.

Yes, when everything has settled down a bit, when you are done with that day an just killing some time then for me that's is also one of the best time to gamble. Before though when I have a bet and it's on a different timezone, I have to wake up at middle of the night to see my bet and the game itself.
