can't really consider ethereum as falling under the category of new coins honestly.
I just don't think that it still can rise that much either but regardless it's still great investment, so many are utilising the blockchain, meaning if there is even a bullish season coming in, the market capitalisation might rise so fast.
that I think it will just beat the other alternative into pulp, considering the fact that ethereum also have L2 that still utilise ethereum native token for their fee I think it will also add demands towards the ethereum in general.

After it has transitioned from PoW to PoS then that means that it is for richer folks. I do get that somehow if one Bitcoin ETF applications get approved, it's just a matter of time that ETH ETF is about to go next and so on for the other projects.

I would reconsider that notion, it may go up soon and you might be too late to it if you are not careful about it. I personally believe that the best thing to do in this regard would be making sure that you end up with a good chunk of it while you can.

Also I agree that bitcoin and ethereum should be the our biggest two investments because they are the two of the biggest coins anyway, they are one and two at rankings and looks like that will stay for a while longer. This means that having them means a lot more. I know that we are going to end up with some other coins time to time, but just do not get it more than others, if you end up with bitcoin and ethereum as like 80% of your portfolio, then you can fill the rest however you want.

Make ETH the second option after bitcoin which is the first to be a safe coin.
Although it can be said that nothing is safe in crypto but at least by choosing a solid coin away from the word fraud and that is clearly in BTC and ETH.
About the ETH ecosystem, there is no doubt that now there are many new ecosystems inspired by ETH called L1 and L2 and it has become a buzz but basically based on ETH as a coin that has important value for the future.

Despite its flaws there is no doubt that ethereum has gained the trust of many people over the years and that is why it retains its place as the second most powerful and influential coin on this market, so if an investor is already satisfied with the amount of money they have invested in bitcoin then it makes sense that they begin to invest in ethereum, and only once they are satisfied as well with the amount of money they have invested there then they can think about investing in other altcoins.

Even if there will be any progress or not this year, the ultimate target is the bull run that will probably come after the halving even if that is next year, so buying now and holding until then is basically the first option one should think about unless they see a price that is profitable for them before that and they decide to sell the assets and wait for a dip again to buy more, but I wouldn't recommend doing that because we never know if the market will dip again or not.

So basically, if you are buying Ethereum or any other cryptocurrency right now, your first target should be the bull run from here and you shouldn't sell before that so that you can get significant profits from your purchases, otherwise, if you sell early, you might be in profit but it won't be much.

absolutely true, but of course new projects are very risky and not all new projects can provide profit or even there are new projects that actually make investors lose money (scam), therefore if you are ready to take the risk of investing in a new project, then you can trying to invest in a new project, but if you are not ready to invest in a new project (the risk is too high), then it is better to invest in Ethereum, because Ethereum is the best investment for the long term and of course by investing in Ethereum, then you will definitely get profit and your money will definitely be safe compared to you investing in new projects.

All of those are just part of the memories and we can't move it back, so better to work more with how you can buy and hold if you already sold everything that you have before.

But yes, it was like that before where you can buy mining gpu and let your rig earn that coin
for you, not the same anymore and if you have a decent amount of money to spare with ETH

The dapps will keep on increasing because more things are coming to the Ethereum network and other smart contract projects aren't doing so well. Solana would had been a good competitor for Ethereum but its blockchain is inferior due to it constantly getting blackout so developers are moving from the blockchain to other blockchain like Ethereum that has a stable blockchain.
Ethereum has also moved from proof of work to proof of stake which is going to benefits the blockchain and developers as more works can be done without been scared of high fees. More project can move back to the Ethereum blockchain. Ethereum is a very good project and it has a very good history of always doing very well in every bull market so you won't regret investing.
As for the price, I think the next bull market would see Ethereum at $10k or more higher price because if we judge from the increase in other bull market, Ethereum trading at $10k would just be about 1x from it's previous all time high which means Ethereum has room to increase more than that percentage. it is very possible for ethereum to penetrate the price of $ 10k in the next bullish season, moreover it is true that it is only a 1x increase, and of course now if we invest it is possible to increase it up to 5x, and if you see a fantastic increase with a smaller level of risk. therefore ethereum remains the first choice after bitcoin to invest. especially for beginners like me who don't really understand fundamental and technical analysis, investing in the highest altcoins can be an option
