Ethereum has come to stay but what is of concern to me is all these newbies coming out now and thinking all these big cap projects are going to give them a life changing profit. You need to look for low market cap projects that can give them 20X to 100X return on investment. Ethereum and co have made people millionaires already you need new project that can make you million unless you are a millionaire already, just like the Doge, Shib, Pepe etc millionaires were made because they got in early.

Well, Eth is now PoS which means they are not the same decentralized blockchain before because anyone that has huge holdings of Ethereum has the huge impact on blockchain decision making. There’s no miners of it so the hype on this token is not that strong compared before when there’s a lot of interest to the project because of it’s mining profitability. Ethereum smart contract is already used by many blockchains that has a better feature. The current price of Ethereum is still in the top compared to it’s last 5 years price.

I will stock other blockchain project if the goal is long term since Ethereum is like other blockchain already when they change their protocol to PoS.

I agree with you, because Ethereum is the best altcoin to make a long term investment and with the current market conditions, this is a good opportunity to buy Ethereum at a cheap price, because I believe that in the future after the next bullrun occurs, then we cannot buy Ethereum at the current price and of course now is the right time to invest in Ethereum, so that we can get a lot of profit when the bullrun occurs.

its indeed a good investment not to mention after the corrections that was caused by series of company and top coins collapsing its now rather undervalued.
but we still need to understand that if not with big capital to invest then it seemed more likely your profit that you get from holding even for that long would not be massive.
at best it would be two times or even three times of your initial investment which honestly already good enough if that really what turns out to be but also rather underwhelming if you don't have that
big of a capital, that just means your gain would be just some measly amount that can be scoffed at. if you think you have the capital then ahead.

I agree with you OP, Ethereum has a good record by maintaining second position among other cryptocurrencies and many holders has made a lot of incomes from Ethereum and they are very ready to invest more on Ethereum so that they will be part of those that will rejoice when the price increase to $2000. The price of Ethereum is still $1,743 in the market, and it will be favourable for anyone to buy and hold like 4 or 5 years before he or she can sell, because the price of Ethereum will reach $20,000 before the end of the 5 years. So far ETH has been a very good crypto investment, but given the high price at the moment it's difficult for small traders to invest here let's say the price goes high above $5k it won't give much profit anyway there are much better cryptos that always have an edge such as cheaper transaction fees such as BNB, MATIC and ARBITRUM or others which are still relatively cheap so they can be a good investment.

I agree with your opinion about Ethereum. many time we have seen bad market where all altcoins dumped bloodly. In these five years many coins lost their trader trust but Ethereum is still most powerful altcoins and perhaps it is second after btc I will suggest for every long term holder. In the bull season Eth rised up above 4k$ to create ATH and after bad market situation its dumped to 1k$ also but if we see the current price then it is looking so healthy. I hope you are not giving professional advise. Anyway what you have said is not far from the truth. Etheruem has really been under estimated or under priced given that it has coins under its blockchain which is suppose to be a boost in price for it. Back in ico days, almost all the coins that existed five years ago where erc20. Also, etheruem as the leader of altcoins have not had a separate bull run outside from bitcoin so I'm still expecting that to happen and optimistic is going to be a turn around to the real value of etheruem.

It is one of the altcoins that I have aside from having Bitcoin.

From my experience of owning this altcoin, it's great and not hassle at all because it's the top of them all after Bitcoin. I'm adding a few amounts on it when I've got.

Well, despite every potential it might have for growth, let's just stay grounded and think of reasonable outcomes instead of unreachable imaginations. For someone to become a billionaire through ETH or even BTC, they must invest in multi-millions and even after that, the assets will need to gain a significantly high value above where they are right now to make the investors billionaires which is not very likely to happen even in 5 years or in a decade.

I do not intend to increase my ETH, knowing that it is always a long-term investment portfolio that provides stability and growth, but I think the altcoin environment also has many options with a vision, and my current investment capabilities. SUI and Aptos are incomparable with ETH. Although these tokens are quite hype now, they aren't proven for a long time. Previously we have EOS, NEM, WAVES, or LUNA, they are ever hype a few years ago. ETH is one of the promising altcoins and the leading altcoins but even though we have a lot of money, it wasn't wise enough to invest more of it and then wait for 5 years before to sell. Indeed. Eth is an established coin and already existing for years therefore worth to invest in. The price already plunged and soar high (depending on the market situation) but what we're certain is, it's not a shitcoin that can't recover during bearish season. No way, Ethereum or any coin have no potential to pass btc in market cap. I love to hold Ethereum because many good news outcome about Eth. Today I was reading that 23% of Eth has been staked which means that big whales still believe that Eth is still long term projects in their eyes. Vitalik is working to make it easy mining for Ethereum which will increase the stability and speed of Ethereum.

There is no doubt that Ethereum has great potential, it's the best altcoin and the second-best cryptocurrency in the market. Based on its growth potential and the way it goes up when Bitcoin goes up a little, I believe $10k shouldn't be a big target for it in case Bitcoin reaches $100k as speculated by everyone in the market. What you have just said went over my head but if you are talking about an altcoin that is on the ETH chain but one of its L2 then you are not fully right. A altcoins price of an altcoin isn't determined based on which chain it is on. Though launching on a blockchain with a large community is always preferable, as this gives that project a chance to grow with that community, it fully depends on the requirements of the project. If it is a gaming project then Tron and Sol can be better options, as these are the fastest and cheapest blockchains right now. ETH mainnet is not good for gaming due to its high transaction cost. This fact is true in most cases.

There is no doubt that Ethereum has great potential, it's the best altcoin and the second-best cryptocurrency in the market. Based on its growth potential and the way it goes up when Bitcoin goes up a little, I believe $10k shouldn't be a big target for it in case Bitcoin reaches $100k as speculated by everyone in the market. yes truly unrealistic to become billionaire, only those that invested at the most early phase and bought a ton and then willingly to hold it until $4k are the ones thats gonna be billionaire here, if we accumualte now its unrealistic to think it will be reaching that much of a value mainly because the price already too high the market capitalization already too high overall its just a fleeting dream.

the fact that there are L2 that are below the ethereum main blockchain in hierarchy and they are truly dependant on the ethereum blockchain security to secure their own L2 mean ethereum will never obsolete, why? because they all used EVM that is what ethereum really is, second these L2 be bridging so much ethereum to make it available on their blockchain meaning the supply of ethereum is only gonna decrease in the market if L2 keep being created and created and I predict that every year there will be many L2 created just for the sake of creating because why not.

its undeniable the smart contract of ethereum is really being used by the masses even most of the bitcoin L2 nowaday still implement their blockchain using EVM which means that people also want to bring solution of giving capability of smart contract to bitcoin through various ways.
certainly if im gonna bet i will bet on ethereum after bitcoin that is.
other coin like solana and the other are still fall behind if i'm being honest maybe its still a long way to go for these coin to ever pursue the price and market cap of ethereum.
the thing that make me interested in investing in ethereum though the fact that there are many LSTs going around these days where we can restake our money effectively double our potential profit but what I'm afraid though it'd collapse one day if not being looked at properly, but considering that if the reserved ETH in the pool always equal to amount of LST issued i guess its gonna be fine.

Yes and ETH is the right choice after BTC and don't be surprised if we see that currently too many people are too confident in new projects that are capable of being ethereum killers but in fact ethereum is still the most favorite platform in the crypto market even though it often has problems with network scalability and It only costs a fee but this is the second most sought after coin after BTC. If you want to go in and buy today, it's quite right even though the price is already high, but if I had ETH I wouldn't doubt its ability to increase it.

But the situation is different if we hold unknown tokens that do not have a strong community and are only used for dumping and pumping. as long as we do not sell the assets, the losses have not been liquidated.

In the long term, there is no reason not to be bullish on ETH but in the short term, i am not sure about it. There is a fud spreading around about the possible rejection of ETH ETF approval and news came out that the SEC is pushing a campaign to declare ETH a security. If they succeed, it won't be positive news for ETH but it can be another fud by the SEC  to manipulate the market. Future traders are already making a lot of profit as there is a continued rally in both ETH and BTC prices. So whales and exchanges will try to liquidate those future positions.

I dont think by any chance those FUD will result to ETH ETF approval because like

I don't know how Ethereum transaction fee was in the last few years but in this year the gas or the transaction fee is very high that it is not easy to buy Ethereum. I bought Ethereum last week and out of the 100% 40% was use as the transaction fee and I really regret of buying Ethereum at this time. If I would have known I would have waited for sometimes before investing in it. And now that if the price didn't hit $10k then I will be a very big loser of the investment.

I have experienced that High fee back in 2021 and that is the last time that I used
Ethereum for transacting though up to now I still have ethereum on holding but never
that i used this in paying or something related because of indeed occasional increase
of transaction fees that i observed sometimes sounds like more than how much i can
spend in bitcoin so to prevent those hates , I decide to not use for even a single time

Many awaits for the ethereum etf but it's most likely going to get delayed or if not, it will be rejected by the SEC.
But even without that, it's going to be fine for Ethereum because we'll see that it's going to be up together with Bitcoin. I've already stacked few but I've done more with Bitcoin.

If indeed the bull market starts in 2025 then I would definitely invest now.  Because investing is the only way to get more benefits, I will invest in these two platforms: Bitcoin and Ethereum. I have $672 in assets so with these assets I will be ready to invest in 2025 by buying 50 percent bitcoins and 50 percent ethereum coins.

That's true to. Eth is trustworthy since decade while many top altcoins gone to scam. i like the way how eth started its journey, survive in the market, keep itself upgrade with time and still going ahead with rocket speed. Everyone has a point if we're all pointing out a top altcoin. ETH to be honest is a good one to hold and if you've been holding it for years, you've probably seen a significant growth to it. I am lucky that I have held a few of it and until now, despite that I don't have a lot of it anymore but still glad that I was able to buy it when it was too low and held it before I've sold. But with future things, we're not sure with it as long as it remains to be at the top 2, it's a good buy.
