I wonder what would have prompted you to gambling that resulted into your quick decision for quitting, i also want to believe that gambling is for an entertainment and it's rare for you to discover someone saying that they are tired of being entertained, which means that this tells us more about you either being an addicted gambler or you might have lost a reasonable amount of money into gambling now regretting those actions.

Two major reasons.

One, the negative energy accumulates longer enough to make the loved ones hurt. After years and years, it can change anyone on anything easily. At this stage, it is vital to stay sober if you still have loved ones or real target in life. Some guys cannot help themselves. And some maggots always lead these poor people go further in hell.

Two, I got a support point suddenly to help me out. This forum, this topic, and the stream can make me 'busy'. I don't have 'free' time to gamble. All these things gather together will make me busier in future.

Quitting gambling is a good thing; no one can deny it, but I want you to understand that only people who have been addicted to gambling are those who have been harmed by gambling, so I think maybe you were almost addicted to gambling, then you got lucky and realized that you now quickly quit. If you have the tendency to become a gambling addict then I think it is a good thing that you quit gambling.  But not all people have these kind of tendency especially those who have a strong self discipline.  Aside from that, we all know that not all gambler are gambling to earn money, others are gambling for fun so I do not think that it is the best thing to advise people who knows when to stop and just gambling to just kill the boredom.

Just some chemical reaction happened in my mind today, I get the point at that moment. Gambling for income is totally wrong and toxic for spirit and body. You will never be successful in that way. You are right and I have been a victim of this on multiple times and it is not funny how it feels when you lost almost everything trying to chase more winning or getting carried away by the excitement of the first winning.

So since that bad experience,  I have learned to make sure I take off all the winning once the games are over and there after I take a break for a while to cool off because it has been proven times without number how not setting self-limit has ended gamblers in bad situation or corner for multiple numbers of time so it is important to set that limit in place before venturing into playing any games.

I never take it as an income but that does not mean that I can quit easily,I love playing every week at least some good slot machines sessions with predetermined budget and whatever happens happens.I am not happy at all when I am forced to not gamble trying to quit,quitting comes naturally when you have had enough of a specific thing,including gambling is the same when you have enough you have enough and the quitting comes naturally soon after.

I don't know but I feel some kind of impossibility in what you just said about some gamblers having to leave or quit gambling once they acquire a huge win. I think its just the opposite to what you said because the anxiety to play and win more overshadow your thought and its very difficult not to gamble after experience such feeling.
