Hard for people which just starting up and expect unrealistic condition while they are gambling. They usually aim for big things without even seeing the realistic situation about it that's why other got a hard time to quit because they had been addicted with it.

But for other experienced the worst they can easily quit with this because they know that continue playing especially when luck is not on our side is totally not good to us. And also they know that there's nothing good to happen with them if they continue to gamble especially if they can't controll their greed.

With time you won't feel that urge to gamble anymore.

One thing I noticed players with this attribute often find themselves have difficulty in quitting gambling.

1.  Greed - due to greed gamblers intend to risk their money for huge unsure winnings
2.  Laziness - people who just want to enjoy things and earn without doing any hard works also find gambling hard to quit especially when they are on a positive streak.
3.  Gambling addiction -  the uncontrolled urge to gamble, since they have no control over themselves it is expected that they will be having a very hard time quitting.

Most people just go all in after maybe they might have experience some kind of good win and forgetting that gamble has to do with two functions which is winning and losing. The ability for every gambler to control his or herself during this heavy loss is what makes you not suffer and become an addict. When a gambler starts experiencing loses he or she forgets about everything and just keep chasing his losses which he will never get back and this act doesn't stop till the whole money for gambling is spent and thats when the regrets and frustration kicks in.

Knowing when to stop when experiencing lose is very vital to having a healthy gambling lifestyle.

Gambling has been a way of man somehow partially affected the behavior of man because man himself is a gamble. Gambling is easy to quit when your mind is ready to make a decision not to gamble anymore. This can be done with the mind deviation, wherever you feel like gambling you should have an alternate to focus. This means while we're addicted to smoking and plan to stop all of the sudden it is difficult. For that a chewing gum is available which can be used wherever we feel the urge and the habit gets broken. Same as that we need to find an alternate through which gambling addiction can be quit. Your previous thread was very interesting  to me and it also made me see reasons to my actions but condemning gambling  simply  from your own perspective isn't the right thing and to also counter your motion, ive personally  seen and also have very close relationships with about two persons who live off their lives from gambling, one built his life after winning over 65k USD and starting making several  investments  and even had to take a break from gambling to build his life, while the other was a weekly  certain earner from gambling and doing absolutely  very well than a regular 8am to 5pm worker and you can now imagine how lucrative gambling can be if you know your skills very well.

I guess thats actually the essence of it. If you gamble with the expectation that as soon as you deposit the cash to the casino balance the cash is basically already lost and in return hope to receive the chance to win a small fortune you will never end in a situation like that at all.

In the eyes of most people in this age, gambling is bad, especially for minors. And even in adults it is bad too. It's just that for people who love and are inclined to do it for them it's just a hobby and sometimes others think it can be used to get income which is not right.

Meaning, each individual does not have his own belief about the identity of playing a gamble. But all in all, the important thing in this matter is that we should not let our lives be ruined just because of gambling.

But how? You are just lucky that you are not addicted to gambling, as you still have control over yourself, but others are really having a hard time quitting, as we know that they tend to come back on a daily basis, which for sure means they are really addicted to it. Even I could say I can quit anytime and have no problems at all as I am not a heavy gambler, but those who gamble on a daily basis will struggle for sure, and it is not easy for them, which is why they are asking for help from professionals.

Excellent suggestion! What you stated is basically rehab for gamblers just like drug addicts etc and could definitely work as long as the gambler in question is willing to put in the time and effort.

No amount of advice from others will help if the gambler isn't willing to put in the work needed basically.

If you are serious about reducing gambling addiction, you should provide content that help them to stop gambling... not to encourage them to gamble for fun. (fun gambling is a trigger for people who are addicted to gambling)

The problem is ordinary guys are easy addicted and mess up the financial situation. Sad. If you gamble 3-4 days a week and can control yourself well, you are not one of the ordinary guys. In my case, I like gamble more than anything. I was trying to gamble as a major income but failed again and again. That's why I decide to stream every gambling thing about myself. Don't start what you can not control. Every form of addiction is difficult to control. Regarding gambling, if you see it as a source of income, it will cheaply lead to addiction. This is because you will spend more money and time on gambling. If your gambling expenses are affecting your ability to afford your basic need, you might be heading toward addiction. If you also spend more time on gambling sites or casinos, you should check yourself. It is better to see gambling as fun that can or cannot bring gains. It will also be good to have a gambling budget which will serve as a check to how much you spend on gambling. Disconnection from friends who gamble could also be a good means of controlling your gambling activities.

OP doesn't sound serious to me, probably the post was just a reflection of his mood after busting his balance with some strategy... long losing streaks happen from time to time to all of us.

Those who really want to stop gambling will do so without much drama... it can be hard at first for some people, but as time goes by it will become easier. Only determination and real wish lead to change.
