I think if you understand that gambling is about entertainment, then you’ll find yourself quitting gambling when it stops being fun. The problem is that people want to chase the fun and that usually leads to losses, sometimes life changing that can affect relationships or even damage your financial future. Stick to fun, but stop when the fun stops.

When you see that gambling is becoming excessive for you, the first thing is to draft a withdrawal method and apply them to your everyday gambling life, because addiction can happen to anyone as long as you gamble excessively more than what you can afford.

Hey man! You're contradicting yourself. You said it yourself you hate gambling and at same time and same time you're giving out a clarion call for people to join you in gambling as for entertainment purpose. Kick is a new streaming site similar to Twitch. It uses the same backend technology as Twitch, that's why they look very similar. It isn't malware but also not really worth clicking through. I think people like that are must careful because they are carried away by the entertainment they intend to gamble so that they find the desire to always feel happy, that is another word for addiction that originates from the pleasure that they get from gambling, always wanting to be entertained is stupidity In my opinion, because this world is not always about entertainment, so he needs to limit his desire for pleasure to always be entertained, and he also needs to realize that gambling is not the only place for him to get pleasure.

I dont think his main purpose is to quit gambling completely, but he want to quit from his mindset "gambling as a major income". Means that he will still gambler but for fun purpose only, not taking it as a way to make money for his living. But maybe the OP is gathering experience from the forum community is it difficult to stop gambling, basically he just seems to be collecting votes and as we can see everyone can stop gambling and get rid of his addiction by changing his mindset to be more positive for example looking for something a new hobby or busy with work that might make us slowly forget about gambling.

I suppose you are right but the problem is that most gambling addict never actually admit to themselves the truth that their habit are actually causing problems for them. If to quit gambling is easy or hard it's very individual. If you are already addicted then it would be hard, not to say impossible, at least without proper help.
If you gamble just for joy or fun then it would be easy but in that situation why would you quit gambling? Only in case that gambling costs you a lot of money because of big losses.
My advice is always to use your head and common sense, don't ever let gambling gets you over and then there will be no need to quit gambling.

There is a lot to think if you really want to be successful, an attempt based just on an impulse the momentum is likely to fade away at the first difficulty. When trying you first need to be absolutely convinced that there are not other options like reducing, getting someone to help you control the gambling, etc... Gambling should never be for income purposes and it will never be. The house will always win or else there will be no more business to run.
Now, what can we do to make a little profit? Be wise. We know we can never win even if we run an auto bet the whole day, in fact, we are in the losing mode by doing that. Trust me, I've done it many times. Leave a bet in auto for 8 hours and I am sure it will stop with a zero balance in your wallet.

For me it's not about quitting, it's all about how we can discipline ourselves. Casino games are the most addictive of all games on betting sites. Sports betting on the other hand is not like that. Analysis is needed, we cannot just blindly bet because we think they will win, there will always be instances where the favorite could lose against the underdog.

What's with people in this forum dialing everything to 11 and taking radical stances over everything? Can't we just all be partial? You literally could still gamble and have fun without ever thinking of it as a source of income, so what makes you think that ditching it is the great answer, I mean talking about this makes me sound like an addict lmao but there's no other way we could drive the point any more. For the fact that w person does not like gambling does not mean that it is bad. Everyone knows what is good for them and even though we don't like what they do or how they do things, we can always leave that to them since it's not our concern. Gambling is what some persons are using to feed there family and pay there bills so we don't have to discriminate that. Since we all have different source of income that is not an illegal source, it will be better for us to be a gambler and keep earning from what we do than to try and earn money in an illegal ways.
