I support your opinion with fact based on real life experience, I had a friend who was a gambling addict  that was prone to loss,he could gamble all day but the results were not convincing, this friend, spent his entire school fees in gambling and because of that he was not able to apply for admission in any university at that time it took him the next year before he could apply but, after that first incident with many advise he realised that he would miss many life opportunity so he engaged himself with several routine that would distract him from the casino though it was difficult for him at first but, he managed to scale through and now he is no longer an addict.

I would like to clarify that it is not as easy as it seems because gambling is like a spirit and I have also seen many guys tried to stop this act but they all still go back at it at the long run the only difference is that they actually adjusted their way of playing and sticked with a particular amount in which they used for their gambling as they no longer go all-in trying to win massively. It does alot of harm yet, it's almost impossible to quit from an addiction..
GAMBLING has never BEEN a thing for everyone though- so next time you try to advice people on issues like this, don't be too judgemental- for the fact that you don't gamble and will never try won't MAKE anyone who's not ready to change.
Alot of peeps have been into serious problematic situations because they ain't got the strong will to guide against any form of an "addictive urge". I went to a local Casino house once to charge up my gadgets when we had a bit of power failure and I realized that alot of peeps are actually suffering ignorantly.
