Someone needs small actions to begin with, and it has to be done regularly and cannot just be done for a few days and then think we have cured the gambling addiction. That's not how it works.

We have to routinely carry out small actions or do things outside of our old habits, namely gambling, to form new habits that will help us divert our minds to these new things. Yes it is true that for a while maybe by finding that other thing we will do a division of time, namely time for gambling and time for other things that we just found, but honestly it's not bad for the first step because it all starts from the smallest first so that later maybe they can completely turn their attention to the new alternative and forget about their gambling. But yes honestly I also agree with what you said that whatever their activities are they should still take time to rest, especially in gambling because if they continue to be there it will be very bad for their finances and also mentally and psychologically, they could experience stress.

And yes as you said that we just have to add our willpower if we want to stop, and also I will add a little bit that there is also we have to take action to encourage that willpower. I don't know if those been addicted ever had the foresight of them going to get addicted later in life before they found themselves now into it, am sire it's not something that just occur like that, it must have started from somewhere and gradually increases till it got to where we are with it when things were already too late, this means we need to set caution to how we gamble, exhibit a disciplined lifestyle as a gambler and not be a full-time gambler without having a job or something important to get busy with.

I believe most of the addicts did not know that they were going to slide into such addictions and a few of them who are aware of the risk assessment will rather try as much as possible to get out of such addictions and give it all they could to make sure they become addictions free,  but then also,  that requires a lot of efforts and time to make it happen in the long run so for such avoidance,  one need to protect it from happening in the first place since we are all aware that,  it is easier to avoid becoming a gambling addict than trying to be free when you have already become addicted.

One of the most similar attributes of those in that addictions category is lack of decisions and target,  because if one have set target and time to discipline yourself from getting too much engage in gambling,  this will help to reduce the level of your involvement and also set a template for you to guide your gambling activities.

You last paragraph boosted my bubbles and make me wanna think what the heck are we all trying out here because when we think we are in control pf the emotions and the wheel,  we tend to go overly too much to the point that we seems losing our balance and stance which make us question our ability to control our gambling tendencies.

For sure it is better never not to have a taste of an addictions tendency,  than to try to fight it,  because a lot of pleasure comes with addictions and that is what got many hucked won't in most cases.

Yes it is true that for a while maybe by finding that other thing we will do a division of time, namely time for gambling and time for other things that we just found, but honestly it's not bad for the first step because it all starts from the smallest first so that later maybe they can completely turn their attention to the new alternative and forget about their gambling. I don't know if those been addicted ever had the foresight of them going to get addicted later in life before they found themselves now into it, am sire it's not something that just occur like that, it must have started from somewhere and gradually increases till it got to where we are with it when things were already too late, this means we need to set caution to how we gamble, exhibit a disciplined lifestyle as a gambler and not be a full-time gambler without having a job or something important to get busy with.

Gambling is nothing is special in that regard, just look at the huge number of obese people or chain smokers. It's not like the choose one day to smoke 2 packs of cigarettes a day or to eat double their recommended meals. This is a slow process that took a long period of time to manifest itself into an addiction. Most gamblers have some rules in place, but the problem starts when you start with small rule breaks. It's cheating on ourselves, because we believe that we fix things later on and remain in full control. Unfortunately we only realise the big problems when it's too late. That's why it's so important to listen to close friends when they are concerned with our behavior. For them it's easier to judge our behavior and they only want the best for us.

The gambling is not the easy one as like trading,the gambler should build their own strategy in the gambling.If the gambler build their own strategy it may take some time,some people will smoke a pocket per day.So they become the chain smoker soon,quit the smoking after become a chain smoking is not easy one.He should reduce the smoking per day into two cigarettes,then he can reduce the cigarettes to one per day.Like this the gambler can reduce the ten game per day to two game per day,then the gambler can easily reduce the game to one per day.The quit of gambling only possible in very slow process.

Well that is the main reason we should never ever get too much involved with the gambling arena. That chapter of life should be kept very limited and there should not be any instance when we remind ourselves continuously that we need to play the game. There should be fixed timings for the whole thing. If someone is turning on a gambling site everyday with self awareness then that’s definitely going to be problem for such gambler in the near future. Many of them think they can control themselves. I do agree that there are also gamblers who are playing every day just to make streaming channels. But get this, they are earning from streaming networks to play the gambling sites and they are not really addicted to gambling directly. For an individual like me it would be nightmare to play ever-day and lose or win small chunks.

No, most of the addicts weren't sure that their love for gambling make them addicted to it, but once they got addicted then they can't really do anything to end that addiction easily. It's the perfect thing to say that all addictions start from normal beginnings but overtime when someone continue doing those things everyday and most of the time then the addictions get intense after some time.

The gamblers who get addicted to it never ever set any limits because they think that gambling can make them rich and they continue to see dreams with open eyes. But, surely when they get addicted to it then instead of getting rich they lose most of their wealth. Surely there are some gamblers who earn good income from gambling but they aren't the addicted ones.

Quit gambling now!

People gamble for the first time in the excitement of big profits in an easy and fast way. They did not think of its bad effects and started doing it but as time went and they were badly involved and were addicted to it. They lose funds instead of making it more and are involved in some bad things. They will lose everything through this but people still love it and some make money and some lose their funds. Also some govt ūnban gambling for their people.

I am happy for you that you come to the realization and left these bad habits but remember that you can't influence others by just saying I leave it and now it's your turn to leave it, Every person has their own choice of being in it or not but yes you can provide them soem of evidence that why it is bad.

But dont make yourself be able to hook up yourself with addiction because once you do find yourself get shackled with addiction then this is where things turns out to be messy.
You cant really easily break those chains once you do find yourself addicted. We know that each person does have that different level when it comes to control and discipline towards self on which there are ones
who do able to stop mid way if they wanted to and there are ones who do fail on doing so. This is  why gambling industry is so becoming that profitable because of the behavior of each people who do have this kind of
