Tried to use low power mode but it stays at around 55th with abnormal highlighted.

Any work arounds? Only thing i have found is someone on reddit who bought a epic umc control board.

Check the ASIC status? There might be some missing ASIC chips that leads to abnormal status.

If you want a better troubleshooting I suggest share your kernel logs here and maybe we can find some issue under that logs.

Don't forget to put all logs with insert code tag.

Tried to use low power mode but it stays at around 55th with abnormal highlighted.

Any work arounds? Only thing i have found is someone on reddit who bought a epic umc control board.

Post kernel log and images of the status page, without those, all we can do is "random guessing" but if I had to randomly guess your issue would be that 1 hash board isn't happy with the lower voltage, this was pretty common with the 17 series going to lower mode even with custom firmware, many of those gears just didn't want to tune low, they would work find with stock settings, slightly overclocked but never underclocked, this could be your issue, how can we know for sure? post enough details.

let's use common sense, to use maximum hashrate, it can't be low power. how is it possible that low power can produce maximum power? always use our logic.  Roll Eyes

So based on your common sense low power mode cuts more than half of the hashrate? Of course not, 55th is pretty low even on low power mode, the hashrate should be at least in the 70-80 range, there is something wrong with his miner, no doubt.

There might something happen on the forum recently the forum is not accessible it might be due to Cloudflare undergoing maintenance.

If you want to share the kernel logs I suggest paste it to pastebin.com and share the link here

So the log shows on your pc correct?

your issue is you can’t copy it and put it onto bitcointalk?

If that is the case try to copy the bottom ⅓ of the info.

there is a limit to post size which may make the 504 error.

also see the post above me his idea may work.

I gave you a merit to up you out of newbie.

continue to post and you will be a junior member which is better for posting.

stick with one name the one i gave the merit to.

Noticed the same issue on my S19jPro+ 120T with AMLOGIC CB
Runs fine on full power but abnormal hashrate of 82-88T in Low power mode.

Switched to Xilinx CB on the same miner and everything works great. 🎉

Runs well on ePIC UMC as well.

This has to be either a problem with AMLOGIC hardware or Bitmain's AMLOGIC firmware.
Unfortunately, AMLOGIC is the predominant control board on these miners these days, so this affects a lot of people.
Hopefully bitmain can fix this with a firmware update 🤞

Hello, my friend, I think your problem may be that the control board has lowered the voltage in low power mode, and a chip on this chain cannot work at low voltage due to manufacturing problems. Next, so the problem you mentioned will appear

Low power consumption is nothing more than two conditions, one is to reduce the frequency, and the other is to reduce the power supply voltage of the PSU. The official firmware may not have much experience in this area, while the third-party firmware will have richer options. For example, a certain chip cannot If it works at low voltage, then we shield this chip so that it does not work, or increase the voltage of the PSU without increasing the frequency, at least the chain can work without causing a loss of computing power

For example, the hulkos I use has such a function

What altair_tech as well as china_dawn mentioned ( although the latter seems like he is trying to promote his firmware) is pretty accurate, however, I need to add a little bit more info just to clear things for those who don't know.

The underclocking of a miner requires two things

1- Firmware / CB capable of doing it correctly.
2- Hashboards that can withstand the lower voltage related to the underclock process.

Most of the time it will be an issue with the firmware or control board but in many other cases it could be one or more chips that simply can't run at the given lower voltage, so no matter what firmware you use, it just won't work unless you crank up the voltage which could make the whole underclocking operation useless.

It's even worse on these new miners because you can't set different voltages for each hashrate due to their physical design, on the older models like an S9, if there is just one hashboard that doesn't like the lower voltage, you could change it and keep the other two hashboard running at a lower voltage, sadly, not the case anymore.

or he could load braiins+ which tunes each and every chip and it should work.

but braiins+ has a minimum watt setting of around 2475.

Here is a 110th s19 pro set to 2472 watts.

this setting saves 700-800 watts at a cost of 13th

I used to do
110th at 3200
vs
97 at 2472

I get a 72 board temp

which allows fans to be slow around 3000-4000 rpm.

As you can see it approaches s19xp  21 watt number

I mentioned the firmware I use, like you guys mentioned braiins+, I didn't send any firmware to any of you (This firmware is private and currently only available for internal testing and is not open to the public), I just stated my opinion on the issue, Don't think that whoever discusses with you is trying to sell you products

In addition, the problem we discussed is because the new machine of the S19 series in the later period cancels the pic control chip and the switch MOS tube, so there is no way to control the voltage and power consumption of the power board independently by switching the switching frequency of the MOS, and there is no way to independently control the power consumption of the power board. Turn off or turn on a hashboard

This problem is nothing more than finding a hashboard with a better physique, which can work at a lower voltage threshold, or replace those chips with poor physique. The official firmware has many restrictions on the use conditions, while the third-party firmware will open These restrictions may also shield certain non-working chips (there is no technical obstacle), or the firmware adaptively increases the voltage threshold a little bit, you can find a few more firmware to try

S19 PRO 110T, the lowest energy efficiency ratio I tried is as low as 25.66J. At 1976W, the running computing power is 77Th. I guess the post on the top floor is due to the communication problem between his control board and the power supply. The power sent by the control board The voltage difference between the voltage instruction and the actual power supply voltage is too large, so some netizens say that it can be stabilized after replacing the control board. The lowest maintenance cost of this problem is to constantly try various firmware, or buy another control board to try

I mentioned the firmware I use, like you guys mentioned braiins+

The difference is; none of us is affiliated with all the custom firmware we mention here, while you are the owner of the firmware you mentioned, but now that I read more of your posts, i think you are not just spamming the forum to promote your firmware, you also seem to be pretty knowledge and could be a good addition to the forum, I gave you some merit.

On a side note: make sure you merge your two posts, it is against forum rules to post two consecutive posts like that.

Just to close the loop on this issue with abnormal hashrate in LPM on JPro+, bitmain released an updated firmware a few days ago that fixes this issue.
