Is there any difference between altcoin exchange and Bitcoin exchange?

If you meant about swap exchange, this thread can be a reference DeFi hacks [history] although it also count with DEFI coins etc.

If you meant about centralized exchange, this thread is a good reference Hacked Exchanges since 2011 but the last update was in 2021.

Always remember a centralized exchange, swap exchange and any other less decentralized exchange are prone of hack, so make sure you shouldn't hold your coins in there and choose non custodial wallet.
