Can anyone mention a project that's build for bitcoin and its owner making money? If you don't want to invest in alt scams can you build something for bitcoin that brings money? Any showcases? Thanks!

maybe you mean Bitcoin profitable projects to create a new coin/token?
or you are looking for and want to invest in opening a bitcoin wallet with a forgotten password?
recover private key that has been forgotten, or partially lost.

You can earn by holding bitcoin if its value increases.
Looking for other ways to earn from Bitcoin will lead you to fall for scams which takes your coins and offers you promises or staking rewards.

Referring to real services that serve bitcoin and earns bitcoin like Mixers for example
Mixers are independent services and they all have different ways they earn. You can create a service that helps Bitcoin holders, like building a decentralized exchange and you earn from it.

I agree with this

You can earn by holding bitcoin if its value increases.
Looking for other ways to earn from Bitcoin will lead you to fall for scams which takes your coins and offers you promises or staking rewards.

Tho if you still want to take the risk there is dozen app out there that provide Bitcoin staking especially the Centralized Exchange. CEX with Earn program usually had Bitcoin Staking but you must know the risk.

Secondly staking on third part on Decentralized Exchange but it carries risk too that you need wrapped your original bitcoin to wrapped version on destination chain that carries risk of being de-pegged

so the better choice is only have it on your wallet

Referring to real services that serve bitcoin and earns bitcoin like Mixers for example
Some services in descending order of profit they make (my own speculation):
  • Centralized exchanges like Coinbase, Gemeni, Bittrex, etc.
  • Mining hardware manufacturers like Bitmain
  • Payment processors like Coinbase and Bitpay
  • Gambling sites like Primedice
  • Semi-decentralized DEX where they run a server and get paid in trading fees like Bisq
  • Semi-decentralized CoinJoin services like the honeypot called Wasabi
  • Wallet developers like Electrum running a side-service (TrustedCoin) for their users

Thanks for the insights, also mining pool, hash power marketplace, miners hosting

To add to pooya's list:
  • Miners themselves.
  • Large in liquidity lightning nodes.
  • Large in liquidity JoinMarket order takers.

  • Semi-decentralized DEX where they run a server and get paid in trading fees like Bisq
What does semi-decentralized mean?
