NeverGibUpFren came into existence towards the end of May 2023 on the online platform 4chan, initially as a humorous experiment. However, a passionate group of individuals embraced the concept, seeing potential in transforming NGUF into a novel cryptocurrency and a social movement.
The initial version of NGUF, known as NGUF v1, had certain inherent flaws within its contract that were unalterable. Nonetheless, a dedicated cohort of enthusiasts managed to track down the token's creator and persuaded them to develop a new iteration - NGUF v2, which is the current version in use. During the migration process, all participants who held tokens in the prototype version were offered the opportunity to transfer their holdings on a 1:1 basis.
The central objective behind the project was to establish a cryptocurrency that prioritized friendliness. To achieve this, NGUF incorporates security measures designed to impede various forms of MEV (Miner Extractable Value) bot attacks, while also preventing large-scale holders, commonly referred to as whales, from amassing wealth at the expense of smaller investors. Furthermore, the overarching aim is to foster a thriving community where camaraderie reigns and everyone is regarded as a friend.
TOKENOMICS:
NeverGibUpFren" utilizes a couple of strategies to ensure fair trading.
- No blacklist, whitelist, or entitled owner.
- No tax, no burn, and a capped total supply of 100,000 tokens.
- Initial LP burned.
- The Anti-Whale strategy blocks any transfer larger than 1% of the total supply. This means
nobody can move more than 1000 tokens in a single transaction.
Additionally there is a cooldown strategy that allows an address to only make 1 transaction
every 5 minutes. This prevents bots from frontrunning, sandwiching, etc. and supports the
Anti-Whale strategy.
