OP, from your questions I believe you are a newbie to trading, so my suggestion for you is that you should make out chance for yourself to dive into trading contents and read, practise, ask questions on the Trading Discussion Board, and learn. Then you will know some basic things about trading, practise how to trade, develop your strategy, and master it. After which, you should be able to copy other traders analysis and try it out with yours to see which one is better. From there, you can also try other traders strategies, and you will be able to tell if they are favourable or not.
I will not advise you to use bots. The reason is that I don't really use bots for my trading and have not used them before. Also, for copy trading, while I was trading in the past, I relied mostly on my strategy. If you are inexperienced with trading, you will just end up losing your $4,000

Firstly, you should not state how much BTC you have. In doing so, you are opening yourself up to all kinda of social attacks that could lead to a breach, and loss of funds.

In terms of what is better, you'll have a lot more trial and error experience in finding a working strategy with a not, and even after you find a strategy there will always be a point where that strategy epically fails, or fails enough to wipe out most/all gains and create a loss. Mitigating chance of loss massively reduces returns where there's no point to begin with.

Copy trading removes the trial and error process in exchange for trusting that someone else has done that process and is using a working strategy built for the long term (always unlikely, never certain), and leaves you open to the same (or larger) potential fail points as configuring a born with your own strategy.

The best thing you can do is manage positions. Positions with a minimum length of 3 days, stretching to weeks, sometimes months, can be a much better way to increase accuracy and produce positive results. Short term methods like bots and day trading never work out due to unpredictable volatility. Managing longer term positions increases reliability of the longer the time frame that you are conducting analysis and setting your goals for.

Tldr: Don't bother with bots or copy trading. Do research, conduct analysis, manage positions.

I've used both and I still lost some money, it's not going to be easy to find the right trading bots as many are nonsense and high risk, and copy trading can be blinding at times, one day I made over 1000$ copy trading on a exchange, I thought yes I found the best trader online that can help make me some money but later all his trades went against him and that's how I kept losing 100s of dollars, it was like he lost his lucky gem or just his bad luck and I stopped following him, I quit copy trading after trying other traders out, they all seem to be the same with results.

It's better to learn trading yourself, there is always a way in every things that seem hard at first, if you can get serious with trading you will find your own strategy, it's only going to take time and complete focus.

Trading is not like investing that you just have to buy the coins and just store it safe, trading is more complicated than that and you have to actually learn how to trade, so if you don't know what you are doing, hold that BTC you have.

I will not advise you to use anyone. How reliable are these platforms or individuals you intend to copy from? I have seen various adverts on social media of trading gurus that are proficient in trading but sometimes they turn out to be fake or amateur traders. Bots can not also be trusted because they cannot be compared to human intelligence. They are programmed to work in a specific pattern. A slight change in the predicted situation can lead to serious trading errors.

They best option is to learn about trading. Read and watch materials on trading and use your experience to engage in it. It will be better to have your destiny in your hands. At least if you lose or gain, it's your fault, and you won't blame or praise anybody or machine. But if can stand the risk of trusting a trader or an AI tool, then you can go on with anyone.

Even for a veteran, copy trading and trading with or without a bot is still a lot riskier than investing. Given that there is also a risk in investing therefore I won't call it safe. Profitability will depend on the person. No matter what they do, whether they invest or trade but if their skills are still low, they won't still make a good amount of profit.

Having a passion for one thing is important and we don't just force our selves to like them because we won't still be successful at them. Copy trading might only be for the lazy while using bots can sometimes be for the person who are busy. Not all copy trading are scam. Maybe you are not only aware that some are earning on them.

Best choice I guess is to study how trading really works. Well, copy trading and bot trading would be good options but would you be really happy winning in such way without knowing what is happening with your money? Not to mention losing in these ways. Atleast if you would lose with your decisions, atleast you'd learn something from it. Both are extremely bad ideas which will end up with you losing all your money. And before you even ask, no, signals are not real and only scammers will provide signals. What you should do, since you are so interested in trading, is to learn how to trade in the first place and then you can practice on mock trading sites which do not require you to use real money. After you have gotten used to trading and understand the fundamentals of trading analysis and strategies then and only then should you try trading with actual real money.

Those experts now had to spend many time learning the in's and out's of trading. What strategy will work for them, and what isn't working. What indicators do they need in order for them to know the good entry, and exit point. Those experts didn't use a copy trader, or any bots at all because they know that they can do better than both of them.

You have the money yes, but you don't have the skills. If you want to trade, learn it, research on it, and invest some time learning it. I'm not using both of them, and I didn't even try using both of them, so I don't know which would be better, but what's the alternative? You. You need to learn trading, so you can control when you need to enter, and when to exit, and not relying on these some bots. I dont know if it is just me, but I personally dont like those trading classes and the people who say to be professional traders and are giving classes for money. I have read on the internet that most of the time that kind of people are not actually successful traders and just try to profit off people who actually want to learn, by repeating things which the student could find in a Youtube video on their own.

I assume there must be some exceptions to this norm, but I don't see why someone as a professional speculator, would decide to exchange their secrets for money, when there is the chance just to continue trading and get the money.

Bot and copy trading work almost the same because the bot works through a program and that program is created by a human so a programmer programs the bot based on his own research and analysis. I don't like being dependent on anything to trade. trades must be done through your own personal research and analysis. It improves confidence and reduces fear in trading. So I don't think trading through bot or copy trading is a logical decision. Both of these are very risky
