I got my post deleted immediately, how is that possible?

I don’t know if there is a thread for this already, I can’t seem to find it

So as the forum continues to have issues all day I notice that the sluggishness and the lack of patience by some members have actually made one to post a particular reply twice. While I also experienced this I tried to delete the second reply which immediately it got deleted. I know of edit button not showing edited if it is done within five minutes from the post but does the delete button also works that’s way?

If it does is it only on specific board?

Also does it also delete double threads too?

Lastly is it just the forum issue affecting it, just like the telegram notifier bot that is not working currently?

Yes, you can easily delete your comment on some thread, but in some other threads, specifically some Signature campaign threads in the service board, you can't delete your comment untill it's 24 hours but it's not like that for all threads or boards. I did made similar mistake today and even submitted one reply 5x but I deleted four and left just one.

You can always delete any of your post anytime. The only board that you can delete or edit your post is on Archival. Delete button is always available even after a longer time but deleting a double thread is not possible to do by yourself. It’s either you will move it to Archival or self report it to moderator so that moderator can easily notice your duplicate thread to delete it.

I deleted some of my double post too that I notice just a few seconds after I successfully post. Don’t refresh your slow loading post or else it will keeps posting new duplicate post. The forum situation is messed up.

Nothing is automatically deleted. Moderators can quickly delete a duplicate post, or you if you notice a double post. I also got into a similar situation today, but I noticed in time and removed it. But not everyone is attentive at this time, I just showed a real example of several posts in a row.

I don't understand why you need to open a new thread here. Isn't there enough of those where everything is discussed?

You got your question answered, so I'm not going to try to restate it but I just started browsing the forum a few minutes ago and yours was the first thread that caught my eye--so what problems are we having today and why are people trying to reply twice in a given thread?  

You can always delete any of your post anytime. The only board that you can delete or edit your post is on Archival.

"Anytime" doesn't necessarily mean "immediately" though, because as was pointed out you can't immediately delete a post in certain sections.  Dr.Bitcoin_Strange mentioned campaign threads, but I also seem to recall it's true in auction threads as well (but I could be wrong, and to the point of OP's concern it probably doesn't matter much).

Edit: LOL, I just had to delete duplicate posts so I see what's going on here very clearly.  Jeez.

Duplicate posts happen when you try to reload the page after you make a post and error occur (error 524 or so). Just check your post in a new tab because its already there and no need to reload the page again and again if error happens.

I think it's just the issues at the main time and sooner as I may see it everything will be normalized, there's nothing to panic over the condition at hand. Your post doesn't automatically deleted but I suggest at the point of trying to delete you wouldn't know when you might have deleted it twice and it didn't respond immediately, maybe after refreshing your page you noticed those posts where deleted without knowing it was you that carried out that action.

When a (problem 524) occurs, you can also click on preview to see if the post has been published. After clicking preview, beneath the post you're about to publish and still loading, you'll notice your post already published below; your post will be the first you see right beneath the unpublished post you're

Post deletion occurs whenever you have multiple post with same content or having the same thread created twice maybe during posting it happens you submitted it multiple times thereabouts. Maybe the mods sense it to be spam that alone results in auto deletion and sometimes you starts wondering about your post.

OP maybe you had a multiple post which might have occurred as a result of the glitch on the platform of lately. Recently, there were some observations on the platform were people complained of their post repeating itself multiple times and on a normal it should be just once. If you should observe deletion of your post, then I believe you also received a message too informing you of the actions then you should know who deleted it and the major reasons why your post was deleted.

These can only be that your post wasn't arranged in a proper way, just like when you quote someone, the moderator can just decide to delete the message because it wasn't arranged in an orderly manner. Speaking of how fast your post can be deleted, you can be the only one that can delete your post that fast, from what I know moderators take time (like days or sometimes weeks, like what happened to my last deleted post) to get to post that needs to be deleted.

It is not about post not been arranged but sometimes if people find your post to be annoying, they can repost the post and this will make moderator to delete the post even though it is of a good quality. I'd our post is always been deleted then we need to ask ourselves a question because there might something we are doing wrong which we need to fix.

 In some cases if my post got to deleted, I do check to see if there is something I am not doing right that could have warrant my post not to be of the forum standard or if it contains derogatory words that can be very offensive to other people that read the post. It is also good for us to write natural posts so that people reading them will see it to be of an epitome that others coming up can emulate.

We have some grammatical errors i picked them out for you using the RED mark please fix it so we can understand you better, basically am confused here on what you are trying to say. Why you try to fix it, even as the forum have an edit botton still try to read what you want to post before posting.
