just to clarify the highlighted part, you are saying that you want to gamble but do not have the funds to gamble? if so, if you don't have enough money to gamble, it'll be better for you to not gamble. gambling money that you can't afford to lose will always end in disaster.

If you don't want to, then you don't have to. It is not a mandatory thing that you need to learn if you are a crypto user. Gambling existed way before the invention of crypto. It has nothing to do with crypto. But recent development has led to online gambling platforms. And crypto is the best way to deposit and withdraw on those platforms. Those crypto users who like to gamble has chosen to use those platform either for entertainment purpose or profits.

If you don't have enough money to spend on gambling, then you should not choose it. As many have already said, spend only what you can afford to lose. That way you won't feel responsible and will be able to enjoy gambling. So when you get enough to be able to spend without worrying then you should gamble.

You don't need to. In fact you shouldn't. Please elaborate which ideas you have about gambling. You talked about asset managers too, do you think these people are gamblers? If so, you are right indeed. Some of those asset managers are indeed gamblers and that's why they will lose their customers' funds quickly.

When you are making an investment, gambling should be the last thing in your mind. Investing != Gambling.

You don't need to learn gambling, in fact unless you're interested personally in a skilled game like poker - you can simply walk away from ever needing to use this form of entertainment if you choose. Vegas was not built by people winning, so it was funded by people losing vast amounts of money over time. That means that most games are engineered to favor the house, gradually depleting any players bankroll over time but giving them occasional big wins back just to keep them on the edge. Gambling is essentially about greed and people thinking that they can take a shortcut to growing their wealth, however you have more chance of getting struck by lightning than walking away a big winner.

Gambling is very interesting when you do it for fun and not for profit. You should only gamble with funds that you can afford to loss so that it isn't going to take anything from you. Don't see gambling as something bad and don't involve in it if your conscience is against it. Gambling has been part of human nature and has ever being there before cryptocurrency was created. I enjoy it when am gambling with friends on weekends. Gambling is bad when someone lack self-control on his gambling activities and turn into an addict.

Gambling like other habit turns very negative if abuse and how does someone abuse his gambling habit ? By playing and thinking that gambling can be your escape root to all your problem. Many gamblers see gambling as a way to earn massive which is not bad but should not be their major priority because the act is a two way thing which is loosing and winning.

Investing and gambling are two different things for the investor, it's not a bad thing to gamble from time to time, but don't over do it,  over gambling is where we start having series of problems, which includes, and not limited to financial struggles, it could extend to our family, marriage and even our children if in the process, the person involved becomes a chronic Gambling addict..

This is why in all, we must learn to control ourselves, in gambling and what ever we do, even investing could turn into another means of losing huge amount of money if the investor is not lucky in choosing the right coin to buy.

Uhmm.. what? You want me to explain why you need to learn gambling when in the first place, you have no capability to spend money on it... I'm pretty sure just the situation you described yourself is already telltale signs of NOT to learn about gambling?

And additionally, learning about something you'd want to enjoy is NOT something you'd EVER "need". It's always an option, but never a necessity. If it was, it's not something you'd "enjoy" but rather something you'd need for work. Or, it's a prior step to something you'd want to enjoy, but in gamblings case I don't think there's one.

Frankly speaking, it was hard for me to understand the op. Though there are some typos but the sentences are also contributing to the confusion of the thread. Gambling is not something you should learn. If you don't know how to gambling, my brother please stay where you are, it will be helpful to you. Some people are saying that is for fun and yes it is but that fun can lead to lose of funds and not only fun.

That is the different between the rich and the poor. The poor has the idea while the rich has the money so the poor sold out his idea to the rich to be continuingly rich and the poor would be continuingly poor.  When the poor can utilize his ideas he will be become a rich man in the society.

Just like many of the replies stated, you don't need to learn gambling since you can live your life to the fullest even if you missed out on gambling activity.  If you are thinking that gambling will be a good source of income reason why you are asking the need to learn it, I will say that you are mistaken.  Gambling is not a good source of income but rather it is good in burning your finances if you happen to become addicted to gambling.  Besides it has been stated that gambling will make us lose our finances in the long run.

Op, it is not a must that you gamble to be in this forum. I have seen many people who wear gambling signatures that doesn't gamble and at the worse scenario, they don't even understand gambling and yet they discuss off points.

what i was wondering about is that the OP is already a senior member here and it seems he is a noob in this market. but in any case, he should not equate crypto to gambling because it is not. though early use case of crypto is in gambling but it doesn't mean the crypto market revolves only with gambling.
so to answer the OP, you don't need to learn the gambling business just to learn more about crypto. it is only one use case that we are seeing here. there's more to this market if the OP would just try to read a lot of valuable discussions in this forum alone.

Those who gamble regularly do not remember anything like the small compulsion of losing money. But you mention here that you have learned the game but you don't have free money accumulated due to which you are afraid of losing money. (You don't need to gamble because you are scared) But here it will be fun to gamble with the same amount of money you lose, surely you will succeed here. Generally online gambling no one can force someone to decide to gamble so you can start by deciding on your own. There's no point in sitting around in fear of losing money if you don't take Risks. Take risks and achieve success.

You may need to learn gambling because you want to get quickly or you want to use gambling as a source of income or you want to enjoy gambling better. But if I want to tell my personal story then I will say that I learned gambling only for entertainment. I have no other purpose but to have fun and win gambling, it will serve as an extra income for me.

When I started gambling I didn't understand much about gambling so I started gambling with advice from my friend. First few days of gambling I won good amount of money.  I lost almost a huge amount of money when I became completely addicted to gambling. From gambling I realized that I have to be patient while gambling and always start the game with honest thoughts otherwise I will face many problems.

Well, but here it should be pointed out that gambling has been very important in the short history of bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

More often than not, its actually those with less money are the ones that gambles. Base from my experience and I know them because they are my neighbors who also live in this rural country side of mine. Every payday, these guys travels miles to the town to find women and back in the barracks to gamble while getting drunk.

The supervisors and the bosses are just there to give then beers to celebrate the day and then go home to their family. Never took part of their gambling frenzy.
Those rich guys who gambles I guess are gamblers already before they got rich.

It is not necessary, but it is not bad to have some idea of how important gambling is and has been in the history of bitcoin.

Investing in BTC or to an Altcoin is already a a gamble.

I think this is more true of altcoins, because people buy them with more ignorance. As I commented in another thread, people buy cryptocurrencies to the extent that they do so with a lack of knowledge. Someone who buys bitcoin in the long term, because they know the history, how it works, its properties etc. is not gambling, they are investing. However, someone who buys altcoins following the latest fashion is gambling.
