you have 20k  but you are not having any Idea to what altcoins to invest., i doubt that you are truly asking and will invest , instead this is another way of making thread with no sense at all for you.

I would guess that people could have confusing times, I have been in the crypto world for 10 years now, and I still do not know what to invest sometimes, it is not as easy as people think it is. In the end it is not as hard as this neither but not easy.

I usually go with particular powerful altcoins that would be hard to shock me, that rarely has any type of downside to it most of the time. Picking something like Doge or Shiba would of course have you feel terrible because they go down, but when you pick something like ETH or BNB or LTC, that would rarely have a period where it would go down like that, those are not things that would go down %99, they are things that would go down with the market and go back up with the market.

we are still confused to where and what to invest , but I do most is visit some thread regarding altcoins and check those who had been mentioned by some good analyst that i come to follow for years/.
though they are not 100% correct yet they are sending some good options and choices .

At the moment I think Bitcoin and ETH are the best options to invest your money in. Other than these coins, DOGE, XRP, LTC, and SOL are also very good options. Do your research before investing.

I'm definitely not going to get my money stuck in DOGE, it doesn't make a lot of moves unless Elon Musk hypes it up and we can't really be sure if he will do it again or not. What if he isn't interested in doing that anymore? So, it's better to split your capital into altcoins that you know can grow organically and aren't dependent on a community or a particular person to hype it up and then it will gain some value which is the case with all the meme coins we have.

So, more than 50% should definitely go into Bitcoin, now it's one's own choice if they want to do it all at once or using DCA but doing DCA is better since they might get better prices over time. And the remaining money should be split in the top altcoins apart from meme coins if they are among the top.

Yeah true, I would prefer that as well. If I have no bitcoins then I would use more than half of that money to buy bitcoin first, if that is not an option and I already bought bitcoin a lot and what's left is 20k then I would buy ETH without a doubt.

The OP probably thinks he can use that 20k to buy something small and watch it go 100x and make 2 million dollars and be rich. That's what they must be asking because the "what do people prefer" is literally the cmc ranking, people mostly buy bitcoin, and then ethereum and then so by checking the rankings you could see it. We literally vote those ranks with our money, there isn't anything better than that. If he can see that and still asking, he must be asking something risky.

Ever stuck money in doge when Elon Musk stop make hype for one month, I don't have ideas except cut loss and bad choose because Elon Musk make hype again with Doge. I think for OP better not investing with huge fund in hype coin, spent few percent of assets for several altcoin but more secure with huge amount invest in bitcoin.
For altcoin ETH and top five standing CMC coins is worth for investing but don't try with coins have faster hype moment only make loss your opportunity.

What's the best crypto portfolio for one thousand, ten thousand, or one hundred thousand dollars? I get asked this question a lot, but the answer is very simple. You should not change the portfolio breakdown just because you have less or more money. I like to keep it simple and have fifty percent in Bitcoin and Ethereum, then allocate five to ten percent in each category of alt coins that I think will outperform the market. I see so many videos out there telling people to add more and more altcoins as their portfolio size goes up. This is completely pointless, as all crypto is freely divisible; it is in the stock market where you have to buy whole shares. You can put one dollar or ten thousand dollars into each crypto; they will all have the same percentage of movement in the end.

Invest in the major ones like ETH, Matic, Arb etc. Altcoin is already a risky asset to invest in and its return is quite good most of the time if you pick the right one. If you have $20k then spread them in a few major altcoins and hold them till the next bull run. These altcoins can give better ROI than bitcoin if you can pick the bottom one to invest in. They can go to zero as well so don't invest everything in one project.

Spare your money and try to avoid meme coins. Because most of them have pumped already but if I miss it then it's just me and not you. Nothing against with you guys that are still into meme coins thinking that they will pump a lot. I see some that are still pumping a lot and likely some of them will do on the bull run after bitcoin's halving. But not to disappoint you, you must also prepare yourselves with the outcome that you may not like when nothing seems to be moving and all eyes and attentions changes to Bitcoin and other top altcoins.

All the altcoins I invested in when in 2020 when I came back to crypto went down 99% and are still down now. Some have since been de-listed so now I feel that all altcoins are a scam except for the big ones like Ethereum. If even Ethereum falls off and disappears as well I'll just keep the 20k under a matress.

I'd put those 20K in HBD (stable coin of hive blockchain), it's has currently 20% interest and I'd withdraw earned interest to fiat or do DCA in coins I find good.

Two of the coins you've mentioned, DOGE and SHIB, are meme coins and meme coins generally have no organic growth potential unless they are hyped up to the extreme level which makes them gain value for a short period and they start declining soon after that. BNB is suffering due to the cases and allegations put on Binance and CZ by the SEC and I believe it won't gain enough value based on the potential it used to have just because of this matter.

The point is, that someone who has $20k to invest in altcoins should choose cryptocurrencies that are clear and have good potential for growth instead of relying on meme coins and coins that are having issues at the back. One can go with ETH or maybe SOL, I think LTC isn't a bad choice as well for the bull run.

20K$ is a big amount of money, why you want to take risk with altcoins? I think you can put in Bitcoin, it will undoubtedly good investment in the long term, but i didn’t mean that there are no promising altcoins, of course you can invest in ETH, but it’s not guaranteed to profit in the particular time, i would like to recommend in long term.

I think you can put in Bitcoin, it will undoubtedly good investment in the long term, but i didn’t mean that there are no promising altcoins, of course you can invest in ETH, but it’s not guaranteed to profit in the particular time, i would like to recommend in long term.

Putting all fruits in one basket is always risky. OP want some quick profit which is not possible in investing in btc. I suggest 50% for btc, 25% for top altcoins and 25% for trading. Btc is good for long term although profit is not big but risk is low. There are some potential altcoins which can give more profit than btc in mid term such as Eth, Sol, Aptos, ltc and XRP. I think 25% fund is best to buy for mid term. If OP know the trading then I think 25% should be use in trading wisely which is more profitable than holding coins

WOndering how much he may earn if you will follow your advise , Ethereum is one best coin but at least try also to diversify mate because the more the merrier lol.

We knew how good ethereum is but why focus in single coin when we can adjust that 20k into other form? diversify and also consider buying cheaper coin for a better result .
