I still think that trading can't provide us a consistent income because there might be days that our trade won't go well in spite of doing anything what we can. Sometimes market manipulation and other factors are much stronger to influence the price and it can go against on what we are heading/up to.

Trading isn't also for a person with a small capital because there are fees (lots of them). It can only eat most our balances and we will be left with a small amount which can hardly do anything. An individual can't start mining with an investment of just $7k considering how mining difficulty is increasing over time and one needs to have a lot of equipment to have a lot of hash power to be able to get some profit out of their mining, otherwise, they won't even be able to earn enough to complete the maintenance cost of mining. So mining shouldn't be an option for OP since he has a very limited investment and he won't be able to get $30 per day with that through mining.
